- In this video I'll be doing my best to show you how to model and animate a low poly model using meshes in blockbench! This model is for a game I am making models for, I will try to post more about it in the future!

dude this is exactly the type of thing I was searching for!! I feel like its super common to see ppl do minecraft stuff which makes sense since its made for that, but im a huge fan of low poly ps1/n64 graphics and I feel like blockbench is super underrated for that kind of stuff
Thank you big guy
AWESOOOOME !
Amazing 💯
Inspiring work. It seems that using Blockbench provides specific advantages to both low poly tool modeling AND especially the low-res texturing UV-unwrapping. I think I shall give it a try and see what happens. Do you prefer to animate in Blender or Blockbench?
I only animate in Blockbench, but Blockbench animating is difficult, primitive , and does not support bones.
What would be best way if you wanted your game to have a character creation? Like a base model and adjust size and textures?
Set whole parts of the model to a specific (greenscreeen) color, like neon red or green so that you can edit it in engine. For mes edits, I'd say either hand make each mesh or do some crazy dev work in whatever engine you use.
@@racewizard alright and thank you. Also you would do more tutorials in the future for characters and weapons.
awesome
Thank you! I will try to make more and get better as I go.
