- Hi everyone, I decided to cut the cord off my Jackery solar panel because it has a fitting that I can only use with it, so I cut it in half put two Andersen plugs on instead it’s more versatile now and I can use it for other things thanks to everyone for commenting on my previous video on how to solder up the plugs. Cheers hope you enjoy. Thanks for watching 🇦🇺👍

Makes perfect sense to me mate. Ive been soldering Anderson plugs for years no issues ever. Cheers Steve
The Anderson plug is a very versatile plug in system good for standardising a lot of equipment.
Thanks Steve , good idea changing to Anderson plugs .I think soldering Is definitely the way to go ! Keep ‘em coming enjoying your videos . 👍👍🍻🍻
Lovely ep and product,
🇦🇺 Oi Oi Oi 👍🏻👍🏻
Been putting solder on Anderson plugs for the last 10 years and never had a cable or plug fail because of it
I have had crimps come undone from factory cables. Simon from Lock your Hubs 4wd has proven you get better voltage flow with solder over crimp. Yep crimp works well on thicker cables. I was surprised just how thin the wire was on the jackery solar panels but as you said, they are only 100w.
Have you got the Kickass single to double Anderson short cable so you can double up solar panels?
