We recently visited a quaint little town that left us in awe with its charm and unique attractions. One of the highlights was the enormous spider perched atop a water tower-a sight so impressive we had to stop and marvel at its sheer size. It’s the kind of quirky landmark that makes you smile and wonder about the story behind it. But that wasn’t all. The town is also home to an incredible piece...

ALLPOWERS R1500 and 400watt solar panels an off grid power alternative
I've been thinking about these fryers. I'm keen to see how it goes. Be a cracka to have out prospecting.
Great little cooker thanks Steve for sharing this with us
Great clip Steve and not a bad little product indeed. The old air fryer’s, heard people rave about them and thought they’re just another “fad” but after buying one and being able to do roast pork’s ( with the ultimate crackling ), meat pies in no time, chicken strips and fish fillets etc - I bloody love ours !!!! They’re awesome ! Good take on a new product and thanks for sharing. Cheers mate and safe happy travels 👍🤜🤛
Cheers Grant I appreciate your input. I read your reply on the other comment. It is great to get different opinions on our videos. I did think to myself I paid too much for this but I see your point of view as well. Not everyone can afford the system to run 240 V system, so yes, this system most people could use. Cheers mate. I appreciate your thoughts. Happy camping stressless 😉👏👍🇦🇺
I think the price is a rip off when you can buy a 240v for $50 to $60
Yes I can’t disagree with that ,I didn’t pay full price but even at the discounted price I paid to much , it’s not for everyone. That’s why I do the videos so that people can make up their mind.
Maybe … but then not everyone has a big 12v / 240v inverter in their car or setup either so … Anyone with a 12v battery can use this one so sure it may be a smidgen dearer than a 240v household one, however you pay for convenience. Look at the crap they sell at McDonalds … you wouldn’t eat it at a dine In restaurant however people buy the garbage for the drive through window convenience so 🤷♂️ horses for courses mate
I wonder how a dog's eye or sausage rolls wud do in one of those ?
We would love to see the difference now between the 12v air fryer & the Travel Buddy cooking the same thing. What would be the texture difference, power usage & time ✌
Definitely going to do a comparison also will get a similar 240 V air fryer
Another informative video Steve. Keep them coming! 👍 The 12v airfryer looks like it has potential but at 10ah for 5 chicken tenders my lot would see a 200ah battery dead flat before they were fed. 😂😂😂😂
Bought one of those about a year ago , gone to all electric cooking , tea making , but mine is a 240v , i use it off of a portable power unit , magic !
Looks pretty good mate. Cheers Steve
I don't wait for it to heat up. Works just fine. And I let mine run for 10 minutes longer roughly - aim for around 30-35 minutes.
Great initial look mate, I wonder if upping the voltage a touch will get the air fryer really cooking, just like the Travel Buddy does.
I got a voltage upgrade for my travel buddy from your suggestion mr hub and works better, thanks for the suggestion ❤
@louiskudlak2241 "Mr Hub" I think is my father! Just call me Simon :) I couldn't go back to a Travel Buddy without a step up now, and the 24v version running on 28v is fantastic!
@@LockyourHubs4WDing ok cool thanks Simon
👍👍👁️👁️😎😇🐕🦺❤️🇦🇺
A great video Steve, thanks for sharing it with us.
We love our air fryer. Do we need a 12 volt model, I don't think so. For the amount of time you use it. It won't be much what you take out of the battery
The Air Fryers are a game changer as far as I am concerned. I was just wondering where the mic was Steve? It sounded like it was perched on your esophagus. 🤣😂 OP rum!!!! It's a wonder you weren't running around the backyard in your undies with Annie chasing you with a wooden spoon😝
Lovely Ep and a Cool product to maybe I might try one day
Thanks, it's a great little unit!
Far out, clicked on your video, as I’ve been waiting to buy the 4ltr version as it been put on back order and low and behold I checked the site and they’re available, so purchase done. I hope it gets delivered before we head away to WA from SA. Love your channel mate, thank you.
Cheers mate yeah I reckon the 4 L model would be better. It has temperature controls on it as well. Probably should’ve purchased that one.
Steve , looks like a great 12 volt unit . Something to think about buying . Keep ‘em coming ! 👍👍🍻🍻
Use the travel budfy while you are driving and finish off in the air gryer to vrisp it up.
Great idea, David. I will try that. Thanks for your comment.👍👍
Thanks Steve . Just curious what product or products does the Ergon replace that you don’t need to buy? Thanks
The Egon makes it much easier for anyone with little 12v knowledge to set up a system because it has all inputs and outputs clearly defined and fused with no need for any crimps you can save money on costs and if you had to pay a electrical contractor you could easily spend thousands 4x4 overland has some great UA-cam videos on this product if you want to learn more thanks for your comment I appreciate your input and support cheers 👍
Great video Steve made me go out and check out all my connections thanks 👍👍
Yes definitely worth doing occasionally 👍
Hi Stephen. Nice board to have in your system it solves many problems. Great clip mate
Cheers mate glad you liked it!it’s a great system easy to build and understand 👍
Nice one Steve! Cheers Steve
Cheers mate glad you enjoyed 👍
Thanks Steve , enjoyed the video !
Thanks for watching mark Annie and I appreciate your support happy new year 🥳
Lovely Ep and setup.
Great clip Steve with a good safety message around checking connections. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers mate. Glad you found it useful.
Saves a lot of wiring. It was amazing how much wiring I removed when I setup my egon dc hub.
Definitely Phil thanks for your help and putting me ontothis great product 🇦🇺👍
@@Sawadventures67 did you say power Paul battery?
@@Sawadventures67 did you buy one?
Thank you for your reply. I will chase it up
hi How would it go with some clean Murray water
It has a filter on it but if the water is to dirty I suppose it will clog up
Really like your review. I have got an All Powers R2500. Have not used it yet but I am very happy with this unit. However I was disappointed the unit I got was without panels. As I have my own. Only the 240. Charge cord was supplied. I found out the solar plug is XT60. And will make my own harness. But I would like to purchase the plug’s for the battery expansion. Side of things. Could you please give me part number of the plug or a contact number to purchase it. Cheers
Not sure norm did you go back to the website you purchased it from and look for the part unfortunately it’s third party groups which sent out the unit I reviewed I don’t have any contact information only the same website that you probably used hopefully you can get it sorted
Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to fit different size gas bottles.
I have one and it works fantastic
Thanks for letting me know your the first person who said they have one cheers
@Sawadventures67 yeh i have had it for 6 months now and I love it
Steve I like the look of this product, something I could potentially use in my camper trailer. I would be very interested to know how long the batteries will run this unit on one charge. How many litres of water it produces on that charge and How long it takes to recharge the batteries after this.
I’ll have to test out how long you get out of a battery charge. I put up on the screen when I was talking about charging it 2 to 3 hours to charge it up. It has two 6000 mA batteries so I’d say you get a fair bit of use before it goes flat But you can charge it with solar or with any USB source. It really is a great unit. it will be something that will go with us all the time now.
Merry Christmas to you Steve and Annie. My wife worked Retail for 10yrs so know first hand what your in for. Just gotta keep smiling, Santa's on his way. 🙂
Yeah, not much fun but someone’s gotta do it cheers mate. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thanks showing us Steve, would be very handy to have. We had friends on a rural property years ago that had a city of frogs living in their water tanks, (they hadn’t realised at the time) I love frogs but I don’t want to think about what we drank when we stayed there 🐸 💦 🤣
Yes the good old frogs they get into everything I have been filtering our water since getting this unit. I normally do a 20 L drum and it last us a few days. We only use it for drinking boiling the kettle that sort of thing so we do feel much more comfortable now. Merry Christmas to you and your family.🍻🎄👍
@ thank you 🎄Happy Christmas to you & Annie & your family, hope you all have a great time on your days off.
Steve , looks like a great little unit for clean water . Good way to fill the tanks rather than carrying more weight on the van . 👍👍🍻🍻
Yeah, I don’t know whether I would bother filling the water tanks on the caravan. I think the battery would run out before you got it full but you could definitely get enough water to get you out of trouble. We will mainly use it for drinking water. We do filter the water we put into the caravan with one of those caravan type filters but this will definitely be in our van all the time for our drinking water. Cheers mate. Have a great Christmas to you and your family.🎄👍🧑🎄
Great compact filter Steve, thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks mate. Glad you found it useful.
Have a wonderful holidays Annie and Steve. It's great to see you getting away more now you have Harry. Merry Christmas xx and safe travels.
This was part of our holidays in September still a lot more to come, but yes it is great going away in the van, merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄🧑🎄🐶👍
