I put two kings solar panels on my 4wd

Good one mate. I've had my 160W Kings solar panels now for 5 years, and it's still going strong. IMO, it's one of their better products.

All my mc4 connectors ended up rusting, went back anderson plugs. 😮 I defo rate the kings hard panels i have a 250w does 14amps in full sun folding one for my camper and a 160w on the car does 9ish.
The flexi/foldable soft ones are junk 🤣.

@@Sawadventures67 yeah i was left scratching my head why my old ebay special 250w panel wasnt chanrging but tested the panel and was fine, then pulled connectors apart and they were rusted. Could of just been a bad batch or something i got from jaycar. Learnt something new that day haha.

I’ve come to the conclusion if you want luxury’s when camping it’s impossible to go completely solar. I’m going less panels and going to carry a Honda generator. Cloud won’t be an issue

Yes definitely an option having a generator for me at the moment. It is weight and space. I have been testing a few solar generators at the moment. I will have a video out soon. Cheers. Yes I do agree with you. A generator may be an option in the future.

Parallel just makes sure the voltage does not go over. If you have one low wattage panel however, it may limit the current to the double lowest wattage panel. The current is the part which increases. 👍 Good idea to put them in Parrallel.

That should keep your battery happy.

They definitely do. I have a set of 240watt folding panels I haven’t had any trouble with them but I already had bought the other kings panel along time ago and I had to match this panel with it so it was the obvious choice they do seem pretty decent for the price will keep everyone updated on how they go

I had been using the king’s panel for over 12 months already and it has worked flawlessly and it was better to use the same panel when connecting 2 together I didn’t want to have to buy 2 new ones so yeah they are cheaper but I’m very pleased with the quality 👍
