    Thanks for stopping by, everyone. These speed trails can get as crazy and excellent looking as you have the time for - so enjoy! Lemme know of any effects you've seen in trailers you'd like to see covered here.

    This channel is the best. Your little side-jokes like Batman running or the Sonic burger with lightning make me genuinely laugh out loud more than I do to most comedy UA-cam channels I'm subscribed to!
    I have the full Red Giant suite of plugins, and always feel like I'm using 0.0001% of what I could, but these videos help me learn more both for those and for After Effects tricks. I genuinely want to make a Sonic running video now lol.
    Keep up the good work!!
    Also, Oh my god, Becky, look at those shadows!

    Great tut, Hashi. For those limited street lights you could just reused the same lights. Once they left the focal area in the scene just move them to the next light position. You probably could've gotten away with just using maybe 4 point lights for the street lamps.

    • @LastbutNotFirst
      @LastbutNotFirst 4 роки тому

      simple man.. put in a video clip. select that layer. add time warp. .. then go back to the layer, right click, go to time effect but select "enable time warp".. then you'll see a layer below your movie clip.. with a start location and finish location, move them to where you want. viola. - place your timewarp above all other effects of that movie clip so your other effects work.

    Hey folks, would appreciate some help on the normalising world technique. The same issue has arisen on multiple tracked scenes. When I parent all my 3D objects to my ground plane, everything shifts to a new world space. When I normalise by adjusting the position and orientation of my ground plane and un-parent everything, all my tracked solids are off, including my ground plane. I'm running latest version of AE. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? P.S love these tutorials Hashi.
