@@IgnaceAleya1 these aren't just words bro, it's a feeling from heart, I've learnt lot of things from your channel from last 1 year and I keep an eye to people whom I have subbed and your channel is not flourishing this just makes me sad.
Hi Ignace, quick tip for you, instead of sliding your particular layer over so all particles are already spawned, you can go into the "Emission Extras" section within the emitter section, and change the "Pre-Run" value to 100%. This value controls how much of the total particles are spawned on the first frame of the layer 🙂 Also, great tutorial, that was a way cool way to achieve a snowy look! ❄
Great tutorial! One thing I would have added at the end is a separation of the snow particles that cross the sky and those that cross the environment. The sky would be so much brighter that the snow crossing it would look darker. The snow would be in silhouette. Cheers!
For the fog coming too close to the camera, an option to prevent it from looking strange when the camera goes through it is to keyframe the opacity from 100, depending on how far away it is, to zero just before the layer crosses paths with the camera. You can add an elliptical mask with a lot of feathering as well for depth.
I love people who gives you the stuff in the description for free instead of 'Tutorial how to make an effect" then in the description here is the link to buy the necessary files lol Thank you a lot mate.
A tip for us older folks. Ignace speaks fast so while trying to do this yourself from his instructions go to the "Gear" symbol (settings) and set the speed to -75% . It will affect the vocal only a little but will make it easier to follow while working your AE project. Don't do -50% unless you just want a laugh. Thanks Ignace, it is so good I had to subscribe
That's amazing! Edit: this is the first video I've seen from your channel and I am already subscribed. Awesome tutorial, even though they are too hard to follow for me since I am a total beginner.
I've been self teaching myself Adobe Premiere for the last year and a half, and I'm wanting to learn AE next. When I watch a tutorial like this, I'm extremely impressed but also slightly discourage. How does anyone figure this out?! Or is this something someone had also taught you? It's extremely clever, but I would never have thought in a million years, these layers of color correcting would cause the surface of everything to look like it has SNOW on it. Unbelievably impressive.
Wow, that's great. It looks super realistic when you remember it's made in AE. Great job. It looks very good. Will it be possible to do this effect on houses as well? Like make the roof covered in snow etc.
I think this is one of the most realistic snow tutorial. I'm really impressed! And I'm glad it was done just with After Effects. Thanks for this awesome tutorial! ^^
Great tutorial! Only thing I noticed was you mentioned you were using an off white solid like real snow however when you added your fx you turned it back to pure white. Might be better to add the off white tint at the end as a grade
Why is this channel so underrated? This is just sad, bro u should have at least 1 million subscribers.
Thanks for the kind words!

Not really. In Lithuania now winters are better than the 4-5 last years. Summers are getting hotter. And wintera are getting colder.
In the Netherlands we practically never have snow… 😂
Really impressive, never would have guessed it's fake!
🙌🙌
Hoq to so this
Really nicely done!
Seriously bro this effect is in sooo detailing in ae and also so realistically

I know Branden, I use it sometimes but it's basically the same time than shifting the layer so that's why I did it :)

This effect is a bit testing and see what works. in some shots you'll need to manually add some effect I suppose.. I haven't tried a roof
