Little tip for beginners, the shortcut for opacity keyframes is T. It took me a while to figure it out.
Thanks man!!!
I use the word "Transparency" to remember it
So I’ve had Adobe and it’s apps for months and never used it. I’m finally starting and this is the BEST video out there. You give great directions and you’re so likable!! Thanks dude
Yooo thanks Manuel! Your comment is super kind and happy to hear you're getting into AE! 😁 Hope to make more tuts that help you
The effects that you used in this after effects video is awesome. Must have taken a lot of time and determination.
Thank you for your effort, keep up the good work man.
Awesome vid, I’m taking my first steps beyond basic video editing and this was insanely helpful!!!
this was so unbelievably helpful, i used to do simple edits on apps meant for mobile like capcut and seeing ae for the first time was definitely frightening but this made it so much easier to understand. thank you!
Dude 15:10 you really hit me with some nostalgia by using that little big planet sound effect that made my day
Amazing ear you have there Aleet! So happy someone finally noticed it. I used to play LBP like all day 😅

@@Crypto_Forex_Journals just for anyone else with this question, I believe you send the blend mode to "screen"
I watched a tutorial recently from Envato where this other guy was explaining pretty much the same stuff but he came it in a way that kind of brushed past some basics and assumed that the viewer "might" actually know some certain things already. With yours you start very basic but ramp up quickly so at least you make it easy for EVERYONE to learn together. Good teaching is an art.
This is perfect! Fire in the hand is exactly what I decided to do for my first effect!
That's exactly what I feel like, AE is PS for video!
I've started digging more into AE like 7/8 months ago and having 10+ years of PS experience helped alot!
Great video! I actualy think I can learn this program now!!
The tutorial was really easy to follow and the result turned out pretty good thanks a Lot man
Awesome tutorial! Thank you. I'm super new to After Effects but after watching this I was quickly able to do some basic tracking which is going to take the home movies I make to another level! Brilliant.
Awww this made my day! I am so happy that our tutorial helped. Thanks so much!!!
Jeez. This was uploaded only a few days ago! Convenient!
I've been using sony vegas by itself to edit videos for like eight years, so this step up has been a long time coming.
When I upload something that I used After Effects on, I'm definitely putting a link back to this vid in the description!
I came for the knowledge, left with "melanin rings" you sir have earned a sub! Excellent work!
Who here doesn't understand a word he is saying but watches anyway?
Are you native speaker? cuz I can understand everything he says lol

Tried this video a year ago when I first was learning AE. Couldn't get the fire, but learned a lot of helpful tips in the process. A year later, I tried it again, and it didn't come out half bad! Appreciate you man, great tutorial.
Awww this warms my heart! Love that you committed to the process and never gave up! That's the way to go 🔥 So happy to hear, great job!!! Keep it up👌 THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH ❤❤❤
LOVE the lbp sound effects
Thanks for the video, I’ve been scared of Ae and just avoid it, your video helps a lot. Subbed.
i like how you explaining all of these things I really did , Thank you Bro , your brother from Syria
Ayeee, glad that it helped. Sending love from Atlanta!!!
This was just awesome! Thanks a lot!
At first, I thought after effects was useless, but now that I have it, IT IS SO USEFUL!
🙌🙌🙌 so glad to hear this!!!
Bro, it's unfair to have this tutorial very well explained for free
ITS FUCKING AWESOMEE!! THX MAN!
Bro, amazing, I love it, thank you!
that was exactly what I needed , thank you so much
This dude really knows his stuff. For those of you saying that he speaks too much, it's only because he actually really understands every function he is talking about, plus he knows how to teach. Thanks Black Mixture!
I wouldn't say speaks too much but too fast. And not very good teaching as some people have pointed out he does alot of small tweaks and adjustments and such without actually explaining what he does. He's very familiar with the program yes but not super great at explaining this to people just starting.
Great work i appreciate you explained so good where other youtubers are just saying things and their video is as fast as bullet train that they are making video for a professional ae or any other software user.
OMG, it really worked. Thank you so much!!
Thanks so much bro as always you're so generous and fun. Hope I learn something
Best AE tutorial on this I've found so far.
Aye thanks Raheem! 😅
THANK YOU SO MUCH NEED THAT PART 2!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Chris. I really appreciate it and that was exactly what I was trying to do. No fuss and helping people get on with what they need
1 minute in and i gotta say i really APPRECIATE that you acknowledged that everything we learn from fire in hand serves as a fundamental across the board that is like , so important to me in everything! Lol. Thank you
Glad to help!!!

Thank you for this tutorial. I finally get how to use (basics of) After Effects. :)
No problem Astry! Glad to hear it helped 😊
Dude, you're such a good person in general. I saw 2 of ur videos and I've already started to feel like you're one of my friends lol, and wow such a nice funny and simple explanation. You're the best tbh.💙💙💙
the zoom in on icons were great but took me some time to understand which one you were talking about either way thanks a lot
Excelent! I thought it was more difficult but I could the concept thanks
I see alot of these type of tutorials on youtube with varying quality in the final outcome but this one is the best looking in my opinion of this type of effect and is explained very well. Good job on the video and cool techniques. Thank You.
Wow, thank you so much!!! That means so much to us. Had so many doubts making this video two years ago, so glad you enjoyed it :)

I'm watching this years later, but I saw ur video, made my own little fire thing and I think the big thing I learned from this video was how to use basic effects like blurring, coloring, masking and tracking and I feel pretty confident in doing them on my own now. Thank you!!!!! :)
This is so heartwarming to read! Thank you so much, I'm so happy that I can help in any way! Would love to see your work!!! Keep creating👍
Love your content. Thanks for making your vids
No worries, happy to help😁
Dude... This is one of the best After Effects Tutorials I've seen on UA-cam. You have a great way of explaining things at a good pace. There's some folks on UA-cam that really know what they are doing with AE, but they show it so fast that there's no way for a noob to understand. Thanks for taking the time to make this. I hope you do more just like this. You have a talent for teaching. Subscribed.
Wow, thanks for taking the time to share such kind words and generous feedback! I really appreciate it and I'm more inspired after reading your comment! It's super touching to hear that the tutorials help, and even more touching to know that you're watching and enjoying it. Thanks again and hope to make more vids that you like 😁

Fantastic video bro, legend.
I've watched a ton of tutorial content over the years learning creative tools and programming and this was up there for one of the most engaging and helpful intro videos I've seen. Loved the pace, editing and mostly, thanks for looking out for my tired old 31 year old eyes by zooming in on parts of the UI so I don't have to squint.
I love this comment! This video was made for you and I'm motivated to make more thanks to your thoughtful comment. I'll make sure to keep zooming in 😁

welcome fam!
While helpful in the sense that I learned more about the overall functionality of Ae, the speaker is going much faster than most people can learn. As an educator myself, it took me years to get to the point where I realized how to temper my tempo to meet the needs of understanding among students. This is 2-3 hours work of both understanding and execution, condensed into a very fast 25 minutes, 24 if you take out the intro.
it was a 5 minute intro😂😂
thank god we have a pause button
A lot of self teaching types prefer videos like this that are faster paced to be honest. Straight to the point, and thanks to UA-cam, we can stop, slow down, or even speed up the video!
will be a fantastic journey!
