Just ordered a full valo set for my Colorado hunting trip. I’m doing a 2 week back pack hunting for mule deer my shipment comes in tomorrow I’m super excited.
Valo works excellent in the Southwest. Barley got into hunting and I will definitely have KUIU in mind for my gear. Some of the best camo out there for damn sure!
Just got my box of full Valo for South Dakota! I leave in 6 1/2 hours for SD looking for big Mulies! I'm so fired up to see this pattern in the prairies and yucca! Maybe a yucca pattern next???
Will definitely be a popular pattern for hunting in Southern Africa! Hope we can get it in Namibia one day. Hopefully the bow companies also pick it up!
Charl Pretorius, we ship worldwide--if you need help getting it shipped, give our customer service folks a call or drop them an email, and we can make sure we get your details right. We would LOVE to see photos of Valo being used in locations like Namibia!
I really hope y’all are considering a strictly whitetail pattern for treestand hunting. All of y’all’s other patterns are phenomenal. I guess we will see.
Hey Tyler--one of the intended use cases for this pattern is definitely for treestand hunters. If you want more info on our thought process, check out this in-depth overview of the camo: ua-cam.com/video/7Men5ZTcfKg/v-deo.html
Maybe down the road, we will. For mixed snowy environments, Vias and Valo will both work in a pinch. Brendan Burns recently went on a winter bison hunt wearing Valo, and was very happy with how it did.
Tactical clothing? Dude camo is camo. It’s either good or bad, and this is top of the line gear. You couldn’t ask for anything more tactical than KUIU, Sitka, or FL.
Still nothing for the Southeast. Tan and olive apply more to the Midwest. In the Southeast, brown and green should be the dominant colors. Look at the colors in Mossy Oak patterns. I was hoping for something I could use for Spring turkey hunting (walking through knee-high green foliage in hardwoods), as well deer hunting in the fall. Should be like a mix between Valo and Verde with no/minimal tan, grey, and olive colors. Still waiting.
Because humans are hunters, that's how we evolved. We didn't evolve through grocery stores. Not everyone can hunt and appreciate the food in a way a hunter does. Everyone could open their mind and respect it for what it is. A hunter is someone who places themselves within the ecosystem instead of ignoring it. A hunter is someone who cares for the animals and the land. I hope someday you experience how intense a hunt can be, the highs and lows, the appreciation, the sadness, the respect for the animal.
Hunting is great but if the bear walks right up to you on the road and you shoot it with an arrow. Is it really a hunt? Do you really feel victory and want to celebrate? I'm all for hunting. I haven't done it enough. But I saw it bear on the road video. I would feel like a straight bitch if made that mistake. Sometimes it's best to go hungry
My wife: "Why is the credit card bill so high this month?"
Me: *Perfectly blended into the back yard hiding in a full Valo kit until she forgets*
We'd say "pics or it didn't happen," but...you know. Camo.
@@kuiuultralight At least I can build some more inner circle points!
We need videos like this of the other patterns

Looks great
Looks like it will suit Australian environment perfectly 👌
That's exactly the kind of terrain and vegetation we designed it for!
I only bought Verde pattern pack and accessories. I guess it won't matter too much if I mix the clothing up 😃🤙🤔 decisions, decisions.

Just a suggestion but y’all should create a white winter camo
Maybe down the road, we will. For mixed snowy environments, Vias and Valo will both work in a pinch. Brendan Burns recently went on a winter bison hunt wearing Valo, and was very happy with how it did.
This would work great in Australia
Yep, that's the exact kind of environment we designed it for!
Is there a reason all the patterns start with a V? (Vias, Verde, Valo)
We like the way it sounds Very much :)
are you guys planning on making 'tactical' clothing? i wanna rock valo BDUs
No plans as yet--but we won't rule it out entirely. Maybe someday!

0:14 Pyramid Peak?
Nope, this image is from British Columbia, on a Stone sheep hunt with Gundahoo River Outfitters.

Could try RealTree or TrueTimber for those environments?
Why do you kill bears?

Nice camo but its way too expensive. I almost fell off my couch when I saw the prices lmao
Too close to Vias guys. Sorry, I'll pass. But still THE BEST product line for athletic hunting. Ever.

Yes, we know that one has been controversial. How much good luck is too much? Hard to tell.
@@kuiuultralight funny. I gave you a thumbs up
