A vest with a kangaroo pocket would make me switch completely over from a wardrobe of Sitka. I really like where y’all are going with this line up. Valo pattern fits perfect with Arkansas timber

I have the proximity vest and it is a very far cry from being silent or quiet material. Great quality and warm. The jacket is not what I'd want to be wearing when I draw my bow on a frosty calm morning when you could hear a mouse fart.

I ordered the Proximity jacket and pants... unfortunately I had to send the pants back, due to it not being durable enough to withstand conditions out in the field (I had 3 tears on it walking in to my treestand around the left knee area and saw others starting on the right knee). I will admit it was quiet as advertised, warm enough, and lightweight and by no means am I writing this to knock Kuiu as I am a long time customer and have invested a great deal in past purchases on their other lines of clothing and have nothing but great things to say about those, I would really like to see the engineers go back to the drawing board and make improvements to the Proximity line and give us Whitetail hunters a much better product, a little bit more warmth for those cold sits and more durability, not something that tore up within minutes of making it to the stand walking through some light brush, these clothes are tools for harsh conditions in the field not Gucci pants to hunt in.

How is the warmth compared to the kenai and the super down pro?

Good question. About the same amount of 3DEFX+ insulation, but the Face Fabric and SynthaCell Wind-Resistant Coating also aid in heat retention. Warmer than the Kenai.

Are there any plans for wind-proof? That is what the whitetail woods really needs.

Well thought out!!! You need to start adding a game tag holder to your garments. They are expensive and the last thing you want to do is poke a hole in your gear. There are a lot of states ,requiring you to wear your back tag.
