Exactly, they’re putting together all these “special editions” with remaining parts. Same with the Challenger shells they’ll sell. The interior hasn't changed a bit, which is a tell-tale sign. But, these cars will all sell and be loved by collectors.
They don't "need money for EVs". They have the capital and the credit to fully fund an EV catalog. They've been developing it for a while. This is literally just them clearing inventory because they will not be using this platform anymore.
Just like Peterbilt last year for the 389 unless I'm mistaken they are only making 389 of them they will have a little plaque most likely on the passenger side dash with. What number it was in line of production except the #1 can't be bought or at least not now and get this. So many diehard Pete truckers that wanted the #2 Pete that they auctioned that spot off and the story is correct and it came from a guy at the Pete dealership that #1 spot were for 1.5 million dollars. Crazy Hu?? Plus he has to pay for the truck when he picks it up the 1.5 million was just to get that spot. The Black Ghost is such a great story. I'm glad Dodge decided to tribute a car to it even if the car is a bit weak. I don't think any Dodge is going to come with a demon tune because I think they're trying to keep the Demon as special as possible. You want a demon, then you're going to have to pay $200,000 and get that demon tune. Or just void your warranty and do it yourself on one of these last models.

GM is releasing their 700+ hp Corvette Z06…not to mention their 500’ish HP regular Vette and near 700hp Blackwing Caddy & 650 hp ZL1 Camaro…so Dodge abandoning the segment that they’ve OWNED for years…and their loyal Dodge enthusiasts, is obviously the mandate from their French overlords at Stellantis. Instead, we get some 5000+ lb. EV shaped like a muscle car, complete with external noisemaker/speakers, (LOL) that NOBODY wants or asked for (just read comments on social media)…and you don’t think your loyal fanbase won’t walk right over to GM & Ford? The ghost should have its own retro custom rims similar the 1970. And they should have used the other ques from the OG ghost. They kinda half assed this like all the others. For nearly 100g and very limited run they should have done an actual vinyl top. They know people will spend the money so they don't give an effort.

Dodge/ Stellantis is just trolling us at this point with these sticker/ paint jobs.. all we wanted was a 426 and a new viper. Instead, they keep giving us the same car with the same power.
Stellantis wants to make as much as they can from these ancient cars, but also- realize the execs at Stellantis sees Dodge as a huge CAFE liability, and wants to get away from that as quickly as possible.. Hence the strong push toward EV. Sticker packages is all that was ever going to happen for the final models; Stellantis wasn't going to invest another dime on these almost 20 year old L cars to certify some new engine or something like that. Dodge hardly sells any cars compared to what it once did, and that's why we got sticker packages.

If I were in the market for a Hellcat or 392 Scat I would buy just that and not even consider buying one of these last edition cars. Dang glad I have a 1st year 2015 HC with the manual trans, wouldn't trade it for nothing.

what they should have done is the full Gator green actual roof in vinal and Gator green kind of interior instead of just a sticker package
They definitely should have done something like they did with the demon maybe not as much power but within 20 horsepower it and then I could see maybe being able for that price to be justified

I understand getting history but when they money grab to the point it's robbery its not cool. Ford new mustang looks good. C8 is v8 but same problem there. They do have some c8 for msrp at dealers now tho. What other cars can you get for 140k. Porsche? Amg? M? Gtr? Gt500 is cheaper and still faster? I guess get one just to have one for history. Bit do your homework or maybe don't get a limited one and customize it yourself.

That's exactly right. They gotta clear out the parts inventory. Canceling orders and making a factory non-customizable car is the way to do it. Then charge 1.5 times regular price to cover it all.

I think the Black Ghost is a great surprise. It should have had a major upgrade in Performance. Imagine paying 100k for the car just to get your @$$# busted by the Dark Horse and the Chevy C07. Was it worth it?

Stellantis wants to make as much as they can from these ancient cars, but also- realize the execs at Stellantis sees Dodge as a huge CAFE liability, and wants to get away from that as quickly as possible.. Hence the strong push toward EV. Sticker packages is all that was ever going to happen for the final models; Stellantis wasn't going to invest another dime on these almost 20 year old L cars to certify some new engine or something like that. Dodge hardly sells any cars compared to what it once did, and that's why we got sticker packages.

Yep, these are all just vinyl sticker cars, and will be overpriced because they are limited. If I were in the market for a Hellcat or 392 Scat I would buy just that and not even consider buying one of these last edition cars. Dang glad I have a 1st year 2015 HC with the manual trans, wouldn't trade it for nothing.
Dodge really a disappointment. Super low limits and no big performance. I'm glad I sold my 2020 scat. I'll be spending my money where appreciated. Dealers already want 5k over sticker and they don't even know pricing. I hope dodge fails to sell them and gets stuck with them. Stop this dealer mark up crap. Show u appreciate customers again.
