I absolutely love this design and the color is an absolute chef's kiss. Sublime and Lime Light have been my favorites on the Mopar color palette since I first saw a Lime Light Dodge Duster as a kid. I'm so glad that this color is offered not only on Jeeps, but in the Ram and Dodge lineup as well. I would take this Jeep in a heartbeat if it was offered. I was griping yesterday on another TFL video that Jeep doesn't make a 2 door Gladiator. This gives me hope that they just might...

Kohl Kohrman is the designer of that Jeep and my Viscom professor at Lawrence Technological University! Definitely a cool Jeep!

Jeep needs to do more of this! Love it! Mind you it needs the bigger axles w/40’s from the factory as an option if this went into production.
The 392 comes with the beefed up axles off the Gladiator Mojave from the factory.
Maybe, but it's lighter than even the 2dr, so, maybe not as critical as in, say, a 4dr regular (heavy) Wrangler.

I would want doors as an option, a way to close off the cab from the bed and a bit more head room, the rest is great
I do not love this design, but I love this idea! If they could make an "affordable" one, I would consider it as a second vehicle.
Facts, I’d like it if it was just a bare with a v6 no carbon but upgraded suspension and wheels for off-roading, they could make that for like 70$ or less hopefully

@@joehanika you make it bare bones and you lose the cool factor. You take away the suspension, V8, and carbon and then it’s just a regular 2 door JL. You want something cool and different you have to pay to play.
@@trevorcaltagirone1814 there’s cool, and there is cooler. There is a reason there is a ton of trim levels for every vehicle. Most recent, the base bronco. Cool SUV. Raptor Bronco, even cooler.

Can you imagine offering a Gladiator to replicate the affordable utility of the 1980s Toyotas and Nissans with only two doors, but a 6 foot bed?

This is pretty cool. I love it. Love the grill, would be so cool if Jeep put 40's from the factory. That would be very cool. Also wish every new jeep came minimum with 35s and 37 as an option. Also ecodiesel with a manual transmission would be a dream. More carbonfiber parts please. One more thing I wish is half doors from the factory. Like Broco. So the glass rolls down and all you got is a half door. That would be super cool.
I’d honestly love to have this scrambler I love the size and shape of the body though that roof needs a tad more head space

Between the grille and windshield slope, I can see Jeep going with that design in the future.
This is actually pretty badass man. I’d be interested in one if it still had an enclosed drivers cabin with the option to disassemble and open it up.

This is my dream. A two door gladiator. I don't like four door jeeps and have a two door Rubicon but have always thought a two door truck would look really cool. I hate the color of this thing but everything else is awesome in my opinion.
give us a dirt cheap one that can fit a full size dirtbike in the bed and I'm interested

As a scrambler owner I approve. Would like to have one a bit lower and of course enclosed so i could use it around the farm.

That design is awesome! The size, wheelbase, two door, small bed design needs to be built!!! I like this and the Magneto are THE designs to build!!! Honestly, this build with the Magneto drive train!! All electric with a MANUAL!
They could easily make a fortune off of the magneto's ev and manual combo, makes me hopeful for the future of these lil cars

I like that Scrambler concept with a big exception for the chopped top. Giving taller drivers concussions when they hit bumps just might deplete Jeep's legal department budget for the foreseeable future.

I fell in love with the scrambler way back when I was rolling in a 1980 CJ-5 with a four-banger on steel wheels, manual trans, and manual lockers. I drove an M151A2 Jeep (Ford) as a Commander's driver in my early years in the Army.
I had a Mojave in Granite Gray for about 2 years. Now I own a 392 XR Wrangler in Sarge Green. I love this stupid thing. It makes no sense at all. But Mopar muscle cars never have. My first car was a 1970 Challenger 440 R/T. It could not stop, turn, or hookup on launch. But it was stupid fun.
Mopar has to get the marketing department to tell the engineers to quit overthinking this stuff. Just build the Mojave with a hellcat motor and adjustable spool-valve shocks rolling on 35s with front and rear lockers and a swaybar disconnect.
I don't think they could keep them in stock. I would upgrade.

Jeep should make this because my father bought a CJ 8 scrambler new back in 1983 and he took his last breath laying in the mud beside it 2 years ago. That scrambler is in my garage right now and I'd love to pair it with this one.
Need to bring back the 4.2 I6 and a 6spd manual transmission and 4 wheel independent suspension
That truck, with the 345ci hemi, for 25k would sell like hotcakes. They'd have to seal it up for bad weather so you could daily drive it. But 345ci, no other options.

As the world’s cars become more electric and bland, I see Jeep’s future being glorified side by sides…and that’s exactly what this is.
Jeep Wrangler based models have been a second vehicle toy, or a single person’s primary fun vehicle for decades. It’s always been a side by side fun vehicle, unless you were a soldier in WWII. Sounds like you are just angry that someone builds vehicles designed to do something besides haul kids and groceries. Maybe you should be watching videos about minivans.
Better than the glorified 4x4 4 door minivan mom mobiles that they make currently.

Big bumps might give you a headache but I like the damn thing and hope they build it or build something close to it.
As a driver I like the cut out fenders. "What else could you want"? well a all electric two door with the range of a petrol two door :)
If I could get the same range out of an electric as I can a gas motor, I'd take a serious look at em. One of this days Im sure we'll get there.

Cool concept. I doubt Jeep will build it. Ram dropped the standard 2 door cab . But I wouldn’t be surprised if Jeep finally did a 392 in the Gladiator and called it a Scrambler .
Not sure why you'd put the vents on the front fenders, seems like a nice passthrough for rocks and stones.
Could this also suggest that Jeep is considering a Gladiator 392?

You can’t see anything through the windshield and your head is folded against the roof, but look at that sick font on the glovebox..
Wife just bought a JL Rubicon 2 door. Has the 2.0l. Thought it would be a turd. It is surprisingly strong with the 8 speed auto. Don't knock them till you try one. My JK Pentastar V6 is a turd with the 5 speed auto compared to the hers. To me the 392 would be great but really not necessary. Jeep - Build a 2 door Gladiator and it will break sales records.
Nice.. Even has holes in the front fenders so you can get a close up view of all the rocks and shit the tires throw up. Jeep (And all manufactures) need to come out with affordable, practical, useful SUVs. Not all of us want 500hp, tradction control, five cameras, all the touch screen traction options, etc...
If they sold this for a fair price id buy the hell out of it.

Jeep always has great concepts that never make it into production! As a guy who lives in Detroit and has always gone to the Autoshow here, I've seen tons of Jeep concepts. I get disappointed every time I hear they wont make it.

The spy in black, on the 392 was holding a piston/connecting rod. Looks like the Magneto 3.0 electric has the spy-in-white on the back. Wonder what he is holding?
