The problem with doing that was that they still gave the thing a health bar. Which means people look at it as a challenge. Seriously how many people have killed the warden at this point:
@Japeri repale Nah, the point is that you RUN from him, NOT to fight with him, that's why he's stronger than two iron golems combined, if they droped something it would ruin the whole point of the warden
@@kimotokirby1601 I dont understand peoples obession with trying to kill it. THe entire POINT is that your not supposed to. Why is that so hard for people to understand
Making creepers explode instantly when they take fall damage is some of the most evil changes they ever made, they basically turn into falling missiles when you are in stretch caves.
Actually the reason parrots can be killed by feeding them cookies is because they were originally going to have the parrot's food item be the cookie, as a reference to the whole "polly want a cracker" thing. But because chocolate is poisonous to parrots, they decided they didn't want that to be a thing anymore so they changed it in the next snapshot. The real question is, why didn't they just do this for fireflies instead of scrapping them entirely???
Not to mention it almost definitely saved multiple parrots lives over the years. If you give children parrots and encourage them to use cookies to mate them, some of them will have a parrot or two irl and one might get the idea to give them a cookie. So good idea, bad consequences. No wonder they pretty much immediately changed it
@@Hendricus56that's on the parents for not teaching their child not to do things they see in games. And if you're a parent who unironically thinks giving a parrot to a child is a good idea, or you own a parrot and leave it alone with an unattended child, then you are extremely irresponsible and do not deserve to have that bird as a pet.
@@Briskeeen Not everyone knows that especially chocolate is poisonous for them. And I had a friend whose family had 2 Budgerigars as pets. So parrots around children aren't the most unusual thing
for phatoms, you forgot to mention that prior to them (and their membranes) being added, ELYTRA COULD BE REPAIRED WITH LEATHER, WHICH WAS SO CONVINIENT
Diamonds were not made obsolete in 1.18, that happened in 1.14 when villagers were buffed to give you FULL DIAMOND TOOLS AND ARMOUR for emeralds you could build a raid farm for essentially making it free.
Villagers have been able to give you diamond armor since well before that, but it is much easier in 1.14 (villagers were difficult to the point of being unbalanced and way to grindy, in the same way that 50-level XP enchants were in older versions). Plus, you pretty much don't need more than one set of diamond tools and armor with mending (which was a more end game enchant in pre-1.14 but still possible) so building a raid farm to get thousands of diamond chestplates is a massive waste of time
Literally never bought diamonds off villagers lol. Why would I spend tens of hours building a raid farm, a villager trade hall, a breeder, a transport mechanism for the villagers, and looking for an outpost or raiding party, when i could just go mining lmao.
I would say 1.14’s worst feature was evokers appearing in raids, and making totems completely renewable. It removed any point to visiting woodland mansions
I don't mind making totems renewable, for the sake of balance in SMP, but 1.14 made getting them way too easy. Raid evokers should only have a 1/10 (or lower) chance of dropping totems, while mansion evokers should still drop them 100% of the time.
Nah evokers barely spawn on raids n i think its nice having both options for totems of undying, n the woodland mansions are still some of the rarest buildings in the game n is annoying to find them even with a woodland mansion map, renewable totems of undying was the best thing theyve added
Just to clarify, for the Phantom mob vote, the other options were a boss blaze with some shockwave attack like youre meant to treat it as a Warden/end-game mob, a mob that pulled you into the ocean (probably even on a boat who knows) and one that STOLE ITEMS AND TOOK YOUR ENCHANTMENTS AWAY. Personally the boss Blaze would have been good. Unless it naturally spawned everywhere in fortresses and shit. Put ONE in a fortress and up the loot. If you have one everywhere then nah.
In earlier snapshots for 1.12 cookies were the item used to tame parrots, then later mojang got the information that chocolate is poisonous for parrots so they quickly changed it and made it lethal for the parrots...kinda harsh but ok
Fun fact: the witch can survive a warden attack, which it will if it doesn’t get punched by a warden. Another fun fact: hovering infernos were added in Minecraft dungeons!
I'm surprised you didn't mention the old boats. They broke too easily and sometimes while you're using them. And when they do break, you get 2 sticks a block. Yay.
Since 1.20 has been officially released now, I think the worst part is the lack of ancient plants. There's so many things they could do with it, but they only added two. I will admit, the two they gave us are pretty cool though.
I agree on the silverfish. One time, I was about to go to the End for the first time ever, when some silver fish spawned. Naturally, I killed them as fast as possible, but for whatever reason, never broke the spawner. I then put the eyes of ender in the portal and and was ready to hop in when more silverfish spawned. After I took care of those silverfish, I decided to break the spawner. I saw one go into the portal, but didn't think much of it. I went back to my base because I forgot something, got the thing I needed (I don't remember what it was), and headed back. I was ready with full diamond enchanted everything with protection four, sharpness diamond sword, powerful bow, water bucket, etc. I had thought of everything . . . except for one thing. I was playing on my Nintendo Switch, which can make Minecraft very laggy when going through portals and I forgot about a certain silverfish that had wondered into the portal and stayed on the platform, hovering above the void. The game lagged, the silverfish attacked me, pushed me into the void, and lost everything. It was after that that the first thing I would do when I found the portal room was destroy the silverfish spawner. Easily became one of my least favorite mobs after that. I don't know if I've ever raged that hard in a game before, especially when I had been preparing for a couple days. I don't know why I decided to right an essay about this, but it was fun to write. 😀
Anyone that's played techie mod packs for a long time will recognize that you usually get like 13 versions of copper. So my best guess for why Mojang added copper was so that there would be one universal form of copper in minecraft. But honestly? Adding a random mineral and doing fuck all with it for no reason is very like them
@@Tom-ck3io too much content? they're adding more and more content every year eventually they will hit what most people would consider too much content while still not adding a single lost mob vote mob anyway
The reason why Mojang changed the cookies to kill parrots is because those cookies visibly have chocolate in them. Parrot keepers pointed out to Mojang that young kids playing the game might get the idea to feed their parrots chocolate cookies, unknowingly poisoning their pets. That's obviously not a thought Mojang is comfortable with, so they changed it to have the realistic effect.
I hadn't thought about this in a while, but I still remember my first full set of diamond armour and it was such a huge achievement. I remember playing early pocket edition and there weren't even enough diamonds in the world to do that to the best of my memory. Now they're just a 'Oh cool more diamonds'
Copper definitely needs SOMETHNIG to do. I love it as a decorative block, even though the mechanic that makes it weather even slower when too close to another copper is trash, but that's all that it does. It does so little, and yet a single source of it gives you a Fortune's worth of raw ore. It gets to the point that I mostly walk past and ignore giant chunks of copper staring me in the face. My chests are full of copper blocks, my inventory on exploring trips have multiple stacks in the first 5 minutes, and I just don't know what to do with it all. I know I said I liked it as a decorative block, but it's not something you'd want to build much out of. It's purely decorative, so it's sparingly used to avoid being garish. The only things I can get easier than copper are wood and stone, but those are something I actually want to build a house from.
My least favorite part of 1.20 is the way they advertised the sniffer. They said it would dig up ancient seeds but there are literally just two plants they can give you that are absolutely useless and can only be used for decoration. The torchflower and the Pitcher Plant.
yeah, i dont like how they introduced a whole new mechanic with only two items to use it for :I should have actually integrated it into existing content
@@AlienZizi yeah they should add a few more and make pitcher plants be able to swallow small animals like in real life, and the tochflower maybe be able to poison/deal small damage to players. They should definitely add poison ivy or something like that though
@@AlienZizi my thoughts exactly. The sniffer really has no reason to exist when the torchflower & pitcher plant could could have been trail ruins loot, or even just generate in the wild lol
16:16 I still remember that one of the change logs for update 1.13 was "We made the phantom less stupid" while all the other aquatic improvements were that good
Also, the worst thing about 1.0 is NOT silverfish If you didnt know, before 1.1 or 1.2, you needed 50 XP LEVELS to get a level 3 enchant. Not only that but the enchantment table would take all of it instead of just a few levels Also, the worst thing about 1.3 is EASILY the internal server that made the game basically unplayable in some aspects
To be fair, my experience with versions before 1.6 is VERY limited. I started playing PC around when 1.7 came out, so I never had much of the TRUE experience playing and chilling on the oldest java versions to pick up on those nuances. Because of that, I chose mostly things that were relevant then and are still relevant today, as I'm more familiar with them.
enchanting was added in that version. so unless you dont like enchantments, you wouldnt have complained about it being expensive. sure it was annoying, but it was also the first time you could make your tools stronger.
Like Grian suggested, phantoms should fly around and guard end cities, it would make much more sence thematically and would be way less annoying since they wouldn’t respawn every night

it is worse cause they didnt even do it right. why carry around an item to do what optifine already does? and if you want to add an optifine feature into the base-game.. just directly copy what optifine zoom is.. why make it an item in your inventory that takes up space?
@@papiderpy "Why even bother updating the game when you can have mods?" Same logic, even though it's hard to call it that. You know, "why update the end, when mods can do it?"
they still do for tin, zinc, nickel, uranium, and all the other duplicate ingots. if anything it just confuses older modpack makers when theyre working on a new one and cant find any config for disabling copper ore
The only reason why Horses were implemented well was because the guy behind Mo'Creatures helped them with it. Back then Mojang would pay for certain mods to be added into the game.
Omicron : "Let parrots eat cookies! They're cute, the did nothing wrong. Just let them enjoy the taste of a nice cookie!" Also Omicron **Continues to brutally kill parrots with cookies**
Piglin heads are the only mob heads in the game that feel cruel and morbid. That being said, they're redeemed by the fact the head's ears can flop around. :)
Because they are the only heads from an alive mammal. Also piglins are sentient and intelligent and you can trade with them, making them double f*cked up, like wearing the heads of your human enemies as masks.
I think maybe giving a witch done cool drops like broken parts for a witch broom which could cast spells and could be a cool traversal. I think they really need to revamp witches cause theirs a lot of potential like maybe a witch town that has like a brewery for a new way of crafting potions or making something else or recharging a previously mentioned witch broom. I dunno there’s a lot of potential
I like Piglin Brutes because they turn the bastion into more of a stealth mission. You have to listen for in for them and ensure you're not in a position to get jumped. I find it an exhilarating challenge.
One thing they could have done to copper to make it useful was add a recipe for wires, which is crafted from copper bars and red stone dust. It could act as redstone but not lose its charge over distance like how redstone does. This would add a balanced yet useful use for copper
Or it could go up. Redstone must travel horizontally, and that’s always been a huge limit to redstone engineering, so giving copper the ability to translate a redstone signal straight up would be cool.
@@gimpsickle5806 i have a chest full of copper bc one time i decided fuck it and mined all the copper i saw with my fortune 3 pickaxe, in a dripstone cave too. i never need any more copper again lmfao
Copper is so close to being such a useful item, too. Imagine if mojang added copper wiring, which allowed you to trail a redstone signal vertically up walls and even upside down, long with carrying the signal farther before it starts to fade, with the catch being that it has safety measured you have to take. If you walk across it with no foot covering, it shocks you for about half your health. If you’re wearing any metal-based boots and any other armour piece, it’ll just electrocute you in one shot. But if you’re wearing leather boots, you’re safe. That way, you’d have to think about how you place it and how you protect yourself from it, maybe adding some new insulating material you can apply to it to protect you.
About that electrocution thing, maybe make it like poison, and for armor, iron, gold, and netherite can get you electrocuted, but not diamond or leather.
I had an idea for new redstone as well, so when Minecraft accidentally showed blue redstone in the 1.14 trailer, it would be a cool Idea of that could be used for underwater redstone
I don't get why copper is the most complained ore... Lapis has way less use anyway lol. imo decorative blocks dont need to have a reason to have a use, its like complaining stone bricks dont have a use outside of decoration and building
I’m glad I’m not alone in my hatred for newer skeletons. They’re so ridiculously OP. The minute you peak past a block and pop out they instantly snipe the shit out of you. They definitely got aim bot too 😭 i feel like if you hop and run around it should decrease their aim abilities, but no matter what if you’re in their sight they get your ass.
@@MissRandomNomad0o ok you understand your pain but the game need a challange to feel you weak at start game to progress in game to get good in game and op .
it feels like they only buffed skeletons to make people want to use shields more since there's literally no other way of dealing with them hitless besides killing them before they can shoot
1.20 acually makes diamonds more valuable again because you can use them to duplicate armor trim and smithing upgrade templates which can save you a lot of time because finding armor trim and smithing upgrade templates can be a real undertaking sometimes depending on the rarity of the amor trim you're looking for along with how many bastions you may have to explore for the smithing upgrade template.
Anyone remember when the Halloween Update made it so the deeper you went, the more light you needed to keep monsters from spawning? So, you'd update the game, and there were no rollbacks at the time, and suddenly your cave system was no long safe, and it wasn't easy to tell how much light you needed.
In my opinion, 1.14 is the update that ruined diamonds, not 1.18. It was the villager trades that just give you full diamond armor and tools for way too cheap that made diamonds less exciting. Also, end city loot, but that's less of a problem.
not to mention they ruined the entire concept of enchanting in general but the original system was already pretty flawed with people building mob death machines just to be able to afford to enchant for a thing that might not even be good
yep try find this one vilager who sell one part. is like endgame to you do not need mine evrything in 1000x1000 alos they try help serwers who have limited space and not want use drop from stone. @@CinchPlaysMC Seems like that might be coming in 1.21? I like the idea of region-locking trades, even though it means that you'll have to transport villagers a ton, which is a nightmare.
I feel like piglin brutes should have respected gold armor... Maybe they would require that you wore more pieces... but I feel like they should be pacifiable like the normal piglins.
Since Armor trims are getting added maybe wearing netherite with a gold trim could pacify them? It would be a late end-game option but it'd be something. (My reasoning for this is that since they're supposed to defend bastions they would maybe respect another warrior? Lore is weird)
23:40 I find it easier to find diamonds before the caves and cliffs update. I never find many diamonds in this new update, and they only come in 1 vein most times
@@urieltroodon can confirm it wasn’t fixed, I strip mined for a couple thousand blocks and found a vein of 8. I have never duped (legitimate items) so quickly in my life.

the parrots dying with cookies is because at first, they were going to make parrots be tamed with cookies, but they were worried about kids (minecrafts core audience at the time) feeding actual birds chocolate cookies
Mojang should have used the same idea to still add fireflies into the game when they were gonna be used for breeding frogs, but realized fireflies are poisonous to them
If you ever come back to this, I hope the worst thing in your opinion about 1.20 is players being robbed of all the new plants we were promised with the sniffer. The sniffer is such a good and creative mob but it gives us two USELESS seeds that sprout into USELESS plants and it's so upsetting. I want the plants we were promised, dammit!!!!
I think the worst feature was requiring upgrade templates for netherite gear, which just complicates the process more. I'd rather it be an alternative option if you haven't gotten your hands on netherite properly than being required alongside the netherite.
Not gonna lie. I laughed when people finally got their precious phantoms into the game because their reaction was so hilarious. Lots of shouting and screaming on many a channel. I laughed because they did this to themselves. I agree that the mob vote shouldn't be a thing, mainly because all the mobs that have ever been added through the votes are either entirely useless or completely annoying.
It was Dream’s fault for the awful glow squid addition because the other 2 were far superior but the phantom one was completely justified because the other 2 were absolutely horrible.
9:36 And for the longest time, unlike normal zombies, they didn't burn during the day! So the little ankle biters would pester you during the day, even when their adult counterparts have turned to ash
my least favorite feature in 1.20 is the sniffing plant mechanic, not bc it's bad but bc i was expecting at least three new plants, WHY ARE THERE ONLY TWO plus the two new plants look so "niche"(as in they look like their building use is very specific) it's hard to build with, same reason why i don't see people building with sunflowers much.
I get mad every time i think about how they did my boy dirty like that. the torch flower DOESNT EVEN GLOW and the pitcher plant just doesnt look like a pitcher plant
The thing that personally bugs me, but is probably not a big deal to other people. In my opinion I really don’t like how in 1.20 in creative when you brush a suspicious sand or gravel block that you’ve placed down, it doesn’t drop anything >:/ I’d really like to see all the possibilities of drops from this block or in maps and other custom worlds that have been built by hand, you won’t get anything from those blocks. Which really will suck for Specific people in particular.

I dislike that for a price of 3 planks and 3 wool it is possible to skip the challenge of surviving at night, but phantoms literally force you to use beds, because they are so annoying to deal with. I hate this design decision. I think the worst part of 1.19 is chat reporting system.
Fr! And the newer cave systems will have you exploring for a good minecraft week, so I think it’s so unreasonable that the minute you pop out you get targeted by them
Please make that mob vote rant video. I genuinely hate mob votes and their results and the corruption in how they sometimes play out, like all throughout the history the things people have chosen have been disappointing and angering

I never really thought that diamonds being found in open caves devalued them. its a good way to find them, but not in large quantities, as they never really spawn in more than single blocks. It was more the village and pillage update where you can get any diamond armor piece or tool from them by simply breaking and re setting the appropriate job table. there really wasnt a ton of use for diamonds other than tools and armor, so having easy access to what youre building with diamond makes them a little less alluring
The Warden is not meant to be a mob you fight, it isn't a boss. It is Minecraft's first true stealth mob where your goal is simply to avoid it, rather than enter combat with it. Which is why it is so overpowered. What's the point of having a stealth mob if players can just run up and kill it? The Warden's sonic boom attack was added so that players couldn't build up and just spam arrows at it. So I honestly like the sonic boom attack a lot. It makes the Warden far scarier.
So true, and i think that the fact that with enough gear you can actually beat it, it gives a sense that you defeated the undefeatable, which is really cool

I honestly don't think the jungle is the worst biome to spawn in. I feel as if the desert is the worst biome to spawn in, especially if it spans for miles. It lacks mobs like sheep and cows, no trees, sometimes no water, no grass to start a farm, and husks that give you hunger.
I'm sorry but you must be on crack my dude. The desert is the best biome in the game! It almost always has a savanna nearby and often has a reef and a mesa too. The savanna alone gives you the food and wood you need and mixed with the desert you get unlimited sand which is one of the most useful blocks in the game (concrete powder, TNT, glass, glass panes, glass bottles for brewing potions, beacons, and End crystals!) plus the best structures in the game (Desert temples) that gives you 9 TNT and 4 chests of loot per desert temple! And on top of all of this both the Desert and Savanna spawn tons of villages with tons of haybales and apples. And if you have a mesa near your desert you can combine all the extra gold that mesa biomes have with the apples and get tons of golden apples early to mid game! And if you have a reef you have access to easy water but let's be honest here, deserts have tons of water 99% of the time anyways with all the rivers and lakes that spawn everywhere and that doesn't even include all of the useless desert wells. So your sometimes no water statement is just invalid. If I am being completely honest the savanna is probably the true best biome but the desert is a close 2nd so you always want to base near a desert. You can't just think about the biome alone, you have to also think about the biomes that usually border each biome when ranking them!
I'm sorry but I love the desert, sand is one of the most useful block in the entire game, cactus is a super good source of xp and bonemeal early, and the amount of plat spaces for building is incredible. The only annoying thing about the desert that i can think of is it's a pain in the ass to build anything underground
1st thing. i disagree with 1.3 being creepers, i'd personally pick LAN servers because when you create a single player world even when LAN is off you'll still get lag if you were on a server and this is still an issue to this day. 2nd thing. the reason why the block hitting animation was changed in 1.8 was because it was apparently a bug and mojang decided to fix it.
@@OmicronGaming oh also the same thing was with armor glowing red when damaged. that was also apparently a bug that mojang fixed in 1.8. oh also the health regen changes you said were in 1.9 were actually in 1.11. 1.11 is very underrated.
In 1.7 the chicken jockeys were actually the top pick. Not because of the mob itself but because of chickens not despawning and laying eggs in caves slowly filling your Minecraft world with useless entities until especially on servers the world would become laggy really fast. Mojang fixed that later but at this time it was a nightmare for many Minecraft players.
I am totally with you on the Jungle Biome one, it is so annoying trying to navigate out of it when I spawn in one that I just completely start a whole new world.
21:20 No it's not. The main reason Minecraft speed runners play on 1.16.1 is because in 1.16.2 Ender Pearl drops from Piglin trades got nerfed by a lot. In version 1.16.1 you have a 4.7% to get 4-8 Ender Pearls from a Piglin trade. But in version 1.16.2 you have 2.2% to get 2-4 Ender Pearls from a Piglin trade.
I wanted Mob D to win, the Nether is my most favorite place in the game, and I also think it would've made a big impact to speedrunning, having to fight a mini boss in order to make your getaway.
Honestly, I could see all the mobs in the mob vote being annoying. Mob A would just drag you to the bottom of the ocean and drown you. Mob C would probably stun or something which can be annoying, and mod D is a blaze that is probably with shield, be able to stun you have more health and shoot more fire ball. I don't think I need to explain Mob B because it the game.
25:00 The point is that you SHOULDNT fight him! Its meant to be the equivalent of going outside and trying to stab/shoot a tornado. Whats going to happen? Youll probably either get hurt or killed.
24:33 It is confirmed by one of the Minecraft developers on Twitter that the warden is NOT a boss mob. I know people think that the warden is powerful and that it should be considered as a boss, but no, it is confirmed by one of the Minecraft developers that this blind guy is not a boss mob. Maybe it’s mini-boss like the elder guardian, but I don’t know.
As someone who plays Bedrock (mobile) and always sleep during the night, the Phantoms from 1.13 doesn't have any affect on me and I have no hate towards them personally. I purposely not sleep just for getting phantom membranes. The thing that I really dislike about 1.13 is not a feature, but a consequence that brought from new features. The lag is terrible and as a Bedrock player, it really affects my gameplay and playability. Bedrock, especially phone users, are weak against lag. Although I love the features of 1.13 (Phantom have no positive or negative opinions from me), the lag it brought to my world and gameplay do suck.
For 1.14, I really hated Pillager patrols. I still do and it's a lot more common than Phantoms as they can spawn often no matter the block light or where you are in the overworld.
I remember playing Minecraft, and thinking that the witch was like a villager to trade potions with. They shot poison potions at me, so I was getting low quickly. I only survived the attack because 1: I ran away and 2: I had a full stomach, so I regenerated health.
What's worse about 1.9 is that weapons become even worse for fighting skeletons because of the cooldown. The skeletons will strafe you, not miss a shot, and then you have to fight them with your slow weapons. The only saving grace is that they added shields
@@endersand5211 I'm going to have to agree with you on some of that, but you don't fully understand 1.8- pvp. First off, aim and cps is a skill. In some update they made mending and infinity enchantments excluding each other for a bow, I found that an annoying surprise. What about the iron cages on the towers in the End?
TBH, infinity and Mending both being exclusive makes sense, and works as a Balancing change A bow that doesn't need arrows, and constantly repairs itself is too OP
1.16 was a great update because we got all the cool new blocks like blackstone, basalt, crimson wood and warped wood but my fav biome is still by far the nether wastes.
@@sorenskousen7468 I mean... server problems only affect multiplayer. Phantoms affected everyone who didn't want to literally cheat them out of existence.

I feel like the village and pillage update is the thing that made diamonds obselete... not caves and cliffs. Finding diamonds in caves is STILL satisfying, even if they're easier to find, but being able to trade with villagers to get diamond gear is really the thing that kills it. It makes diamond mining pointless, because its safer, faster, and easier to just trade with villagers. Then again, Deepslate taking so long to mine is really the biggest reason why trading with villagers is faster, so maybe you're right.
Good video. I'm convinced copper will get some love in a future update. Personally, I'm loving it as a building block in a western theme town set in a badlands biome. I'm really digging the copper with other blocks set against a backdrop of terracotta mountains. Plus, the lightning rods almost look like pipes. Besides that niche use, copper isn't great. I remember voting for the Kraken mob instead of the phantom mob, whatever mob number on the vote was. I was kinda hoping that having a hostile giant squid thing would lead to actual pirates in Minecraft chasing you in open water. That was the first thing I was hoping for in the pillager update. Copper needs to be made compatible with redstone or have some other important use. I sell scrap metal IRL and copper wire gets you a lot of money, but is hard to get a lot of at once.
I agree mostly with copper (the Copper golem would have only been interesting for chaos only in my opinion), they could have used it to make bronze gear as perhaps an in between for iron and gold. With diamonds, I still have trouble finding them and those that are in the open are often small veins. Meanwhile with the Warden, Mojang did consistently say that it was meant to be something you run and hide from rather than fight (though I wish it had a boss health bar as it pretty much is one) and the ranged attack was to make it harder to cheese any fight against it (which in a sandbox game is often laughably easy and is one of my biggest issues with combat in this game). Finally, my own problem with 1.20 is no hostile mobs added, given how good players have gotten at mob fighting I would love for them to drastically expand it (and exploration in general because singleplayer gets boring fast). Hopefully when Hytale eventually comes out it will give Minecraft something to compete with (I mean the fact that it will actually have a story to it which is optional instead of pretty much no story already gives it a major advantage over Minecraft).

For the Phantom I just use the axe and shield, it's pretty consistent to get the hit after a block and even with a stone axe you're killing them fairly quickly. Some other tips for newer players, Phantoms only spawn by not sleeping so you can theoretically kill them in smaller numbers if you're trying to farm the membranes and use a well lit area to keep the other mobs away since you might be too caught up in the block swing repeat to notice a creeper that snuck up on you.

The reason the warden drops basically nothing, is because according to Mojang, the warden isnt supposed to be killed.

I personally think the fireflies look stupid (especially in the day)
Not to mention it almost definitely saved multiple parrots lives over the years. If you give children parrots and encourage them to use cookies to mate them, some of them will have a parrot or two irl and one might get the idea to give them a cookie.

Diamonds were not made obsolete in 1.18, that happened in 1.14 when villagers were buffed to give you FULL DIAMOND TOOLS AND ARMOUR for emeralds you could build a raid farm for essentially making it free.
Yeah, you could put in more effort than getting diamonds to get diamonds
Villagers have been able to give you diamond armor since well before that, but it is much easier in 1.14 (villagers were difficult to the point of being unbalanced and way to grindy, in the same way that 50-level XP enchants were in older versions). Plus, you pretty much don't need more than one set of diamond tools and armor with mending (which was a more end game enchant in pre-1.14 but still possible) so building a raid farm to get thousands of diamond chestplates is a massive waste of time

Even with that 1.14 is my favorite 😬
I would say 1.14’s worst feature was evokers appearing in raids, and making totems completely renewable. It removed any point to visiting woodland mansions
I don't mind making totems renewable, for the sake of balance in SMP, but 1.14 made getting them way too easy. Raid evokers should only have a 1/10 (or lower) chance of dropping totems, while mansion evokers should still drop them 100% of the time.

I mean all Mojang really promised were "New Plants" in general and thus did the bare minimum of 2 whole plants because of total laziness.
We weren’t promised anything except plants lol
I think the worst feature was requiring upgrade templates for netherite gear, which just complicates the process more. I'd rather it be an alternative option if you haven't gotten your hands on netherite properly than being required alongside the netherite.
That moment when a "Torch" Flower doesn't provide light.
It looks like a fake Minecraft mob
Not gonna lie. I laughed when people finally got their precious phantoms into the game because their reaction was so hilarious. Lots of shouting and screaming on many a channel. I laughed because they did this to themselves. I agree that the mob vote shouldn't be a thing, mainly because all the mobs that have ever been added through the votes are either entirely useless or completely annoying.
It was Dream’s fault for the awful glow squid addition because the other 2 were far superior but the phantom one was completely justified because the other 2 were absolutely horrible.

my least favorite feature in 1.20 is the sniffing plant mechanic, not bc it's bad but bc i was expecting at least three new plants, WHY ARE THERE ONLY TWO plus the two new plants look so "niche"(as in they look like their building use is very specific) it's hard to build with, same reason why i don't see people building with sunflowers much.
I get mad every time i think about how they did my boy dirty like that. the torch flower DOESNT EVEN GLOW and the pitcher plant just doesnt look like a pitcher plant
The thing that personally bugs me, but is probably not a big deal to other people.
In my opinion I really don’t like how in 1.20 in creative when you brush a suspicious sand or gravel block that you’ve placed down, it doesn’t drop anything >:/
I’d really like to see all the possibilities of drops from this block or in maps and other custom worlds that have been built by hand, you won’t get anything from those blocks. Which really will suck for Specific people in particular.

It lacks mobs like sheep and cows, no trees, sometimes no water, no grass to start a farm, and husks that give you hunger.
both are great
Dessert isn't that bad, it is just empty, like... everything in Minecraft.
BRO deserts are one of the best biomes in the game it’s sad there is no desert in my world for thousands of blocks

1st thing. i disagree with 1.3 being creepers, i'd personally pick LAN servers because when you create a single player world even when LAN is off you'll still get lag if you were on a server and this is still an issue to this day.
2nd thing. the reason why the block hitting animation was changed in 1.8 was because it was apparently a bug and mojang decided to fix it.
well they should've kept it the way it was IMO
@@OmicronGaming oh also the same thing was with armor glowing red when damaged. that was also apparently a bug that mojang fixed in 1.8. oh also the health regen changes you said were in 1.9 were actually in 1.11. 1.11 is very underrated.

In 1.7 the chicken jockeys were actually the top pick. Mojang fixed that later but at this time it was a nightmare for many Minecraft players.

Don't forget people never want to sleep in online servers thus you get stuck with them.
There’s nothing more nostalgic than accidentally building with silverfish blocks

People complain about how it's "just high cps" but that is something that you can learn and improve on. Other than that there are lots of strafes that can help you win in 1.8- pvp. Both pvps are really cool in their own right and both require skill. If you think 1.8 is no skill then try to pvp with an autoclicker. Don't forget 1.14's (not necessarily a feature) god armor bug
You could stack all types of protection on a single armor piece making you basically invulnerable
Oh well 🤷♂️
Copper needs to be made compatible with redstone or have some other important use. I sell scrap metal IRL and copper wire gets you a lot of money, but is hard to get a lot of at once.
With brushes and armor trims, it at least got a bit more use like Amyethst
Phantoms are shit but tbh hating them is kind of a skill issue because sleeping just once stops them from spawning for five days
I still don't understand why anybody enjoys combat in Minecraft. It's the least enjoyable combat game in all of existence. If you enjoy Minecraft combat, you must have an IQ of
For the Phantom I just use the axe and shield, it's pretty consistent to get the hit after a block and even with a stone axe you're killing them fairly quickly.
The phantom is the reason why mojang now has a name, has thought each one of them through and clearly explains the mobs in every vote now
i mean they mentioned at the start of the vote that the phantom attacks you in a horde when you don't sleep, everything was precise
