Thank you for sharing your lovely world with us. My granny was Irish & I spent a great deal of time with her. She passed many years ago but your videos make me feel a link to her and to my Irish ancestry. Thank you & have a wonderful day!
How excellent and fortunate to have a blessed well. Brighid is blessed by your love and efforts! And you are blessing us with your ancient wisdom, healing, and lore. Thank you both, Teri and Lol
What a sacred spot. So lovely Terri - thanks so much for sharing this holy well with us. So grateful. May there be peace and calm on Earth in every heart.
I treasure these Sunday film releases. When life hands me so much that I can spare no precious time to spend online, I still find time to watch Danu’s Irish Herb Garden, even if I have to wait a few weeks to enjoy them. ♥
Thank you Terri, what a special place you have in the sacred well, thank you for looking after it x nice to see you having some time out from all the work you do , much love 🌼
Hello Terri! This was such a beautiful film, perfectly enchanting. Thank you for the uplifting, soothing and healing words, visuals, music and ideas. Water/Bathing is such a powerful source of renewal for me and I love how you have made your foot bath so healing and even a ceremony! A lovely example of your relationship to life. Thank you!
Thank you for taking us to another holy well and reminding us of the sacredness of water. I collected water from St. Brigid’s Holy Well on Faughart Hill when we were in Ireland….One can feel the holiness of those ancient sacred places. And as always, the music was splendid…
I'm always so grateful for your Sunday video, calms me down, connecting me to what's really important! Holy well 🙏 have a wonderful foot bath. I'm so very tired of existing in the City.
There is a Hawthorne in front of my house. It has helped with grieving to sleep in the room beneath that tree. I really love your respect and love for our planet, its medicine and keeping tradition alive!
Another lovely video. Thank you Terri. I think it is wonderful that you take time to be a caretaker of the well. The way your channel has grown proves people are hungry to explore more and reconnect with nature and the spirit of the earth - we can all be "caretakers" in some way even if we do not have land or much resources...years ago when I lived in a tower block in London I still managed to attract bees and insects to my window boxes by planting certain flowers and feed the birds with a feeder stuck to the outside window with gaffer tape! Not much, but it gave me a lot of pleasure!
I am sure it gave immense pleasure. I think you are right - my channel has grown and from the comments, I think that people than I ever thought are connected with the spirit of Nature and want more connection xx that is very comforting to know xx
Amazing timing!!! Earlier today I was reading about Paul Kingsnorth’s latest journey to another holy well in Ireland (he’s doing a whole series - Abbey of Misrule on Substack for those interested) and here you are with a lovely video at your local holy well! What a magical place, guarded by the ancient hawthorne trees. Thank you dear lady for such a treat! Every Sunday your videos are a highlight of our day. Blessings sent from Oregon to you and Lol and the furry family, too. 💚🙏
Oh Sacred Water! I'm continually encouraging people to think of water's sacredness. Fortunately for myself I am able to visit a local hot springs, a sacred place, once a week. Without water where would we be!
Thanks Terri, i loved being by the sacred well watching you cleansing around i to love giving my feet a treat it makes the whole body feel refreshed Love to you xxx
Hi Terri and Lol, Nice to hear from you!! and yes, the healing waters , glad you are the keeper of those blessed lands!!! Blessings and more blessings!!!😃🙏🌹
How blessed you are to have such a sacred place to watch over and to use. Knowing that your ancestors used it must really bring special feelings and a closeness. Have a most blessed day. Makes me wish I had one to tend to.
Oh a wishing well. I enjoyed hearing the stories about this. I've never heard of putting herbs in a foot bath, sounds lovely. I like to use essential oils too.
Yes we know too that water holds memories which means history as well as the present Love the shoe last my Dad had one in the kitchen forever Thank you
Yes ...Dad used to actually repair shoes on them.he would heal and sole them so that they would last longer and we could get more wear out of them@@DanusIrishHerbGarden
I so enjoy your channel, but this stood for me today! I like learning your folklore as I have Irish ancestry... I also just LOVED THE PATTERNED BOWLS...
In New Zealand we also have the 7 sisters, in Māori it is called Matariki and is recognized as the Māori new year, we now have it as a national holiday.
Thank you for your well-timed Wisdom on Hawthorn Fairy trees! Had I not seen your previous video, I would have collected from one. Instead, upon recognizing this lone, aged Hawthorn, I asked permission to leave a gift. Magically, after leaving a gift, I found several young Hawthorns among other trees and shrubs that I could collect from to make a berry tincture. Next Spring, I'll collect some blossoms to make a blended tincture. Thank you for your timely Wisdom and Warning!
Hello terri, happy Sunday, happy weekend, so good to watch your new film,,I really felt as though I was there with you out on the beautiful outdoors,,your foot bath certainly looks so inviting I must say I need to do this more often, I don't have the special water, however we do have nearby where I could go and get some spring water, my goodness isnt all the outdoors autumnal nature just so comforting,, your cupboard s also looking very lovely, your home always has a comfort home ly look,,I love your films,,you are very special thanks for today terri,,love and blessings to you and your family, all your creatures and your trees ,shrubs leaves everything,,from me and my garden girls, oh hedgehog s ,mr frog, and my family, xxi shall watch again later today xx
Hi Terri, very interesting about the sacred wells. I totally agree on the importance of foot baths.I gave many hand and foot baths and massage with herbs and flower essence and essential oils as my trade in hotel spas in Las Vegas, where I'm from. It's a very healing and therapeutic experience! Enjoy your foot baths. Great film! Cynthia 🌿🌙💚
@@DanusIrishHerbGarden I wish I lived nearer also! It would be my honor to give you those treatments 💖 I don't get treatments for myself very often now! I'm retired and living a rustic herbal country life in Oklahoma, and loving it.😘
Terri, thank you for this peaceful video. It is very relieving to find this in these times. I will try the healing foot bath. I might try mugwort and peppermint. I always enjoy your work. I think that you look lovely in the red.
Happy Thanksgiving Terri and Lol. This ritual of washing feet of travelers feels very familiar in my soul. I totally agree with offering a foot bath to anyone who is weary and sore. I use ACV 1/2 with very warm water. I often add epsom salts and a few drops of tea tree oil. A 20 minute foot soak is so comforting. Blessings to all, from Canada.🍁🍂🍁
One of my biggest delights was finding a Hawthorne tree in my garden. This year I thought it had died, but I was wrong , found buds just yesterday, what a tenatious tree, feeling blessed....hello to you and Lo...best from here, thank you.l
This was very interesting. The music was so relaxing. I'm not feeling well, so a foot bath just may help. Thank you for giving such a wonderful glimpse into your past as well. Take care!!
We have sacred water here in Thermopolis Wy. The American natives called these hot water springs "Smoking waters" because they are hot enough to put out steam and an egg smell all the time. There is a pool and bath house to soak in cooled water, from 130 to 104. Full of minerals from bubbling up through rock to surface. Thank you for taking us on a visit to your holy well.
Another great video. This one had me start off with a bit of a laugh as you were slowly walking with your long dark coat holding that scythe and it felt a bit like the Grim Reaper for Halloween! But seriously, yes to the healing power of water and taking on being the guardian of a healing well.👏👏👏🙏❤️
Ha ha - it is a bit early yet for all that!😂 I had to take it slowly because the land was so wet. Starting to prepare for that next celebration in a couple of weeks. xx
I studied Irish sacred wells in my undergraduate years at university. Thank you for stewarding this well. It is incredible all of the cultures of the world that venerate sacred water spaces.
LOVELY🔆 Your sharing of such ol' sacred Irish ways, along with your tending and caring for the ancient places with such heart delights my heart, thank you so. I do relate and I am so very grateful our gifts of life and sacred gifts of place...... I live at very high elevation in the mountains of California, the winds are arriving today after a few weeks of chilly temperatures. I have a particular climbing rose that is full of blossoms from last bloom of the growing season and you've inspired me to gather the petals today to enjoy, especially for foot baths as the chill of Autumn has me preparing for the depths of our Winter to come. I have harvested plenty of lavender throughout the summertime, yet I wouldn't have thought to bring in the rose petals, as I've been enjoying their beauty outside, yet their time has come and their many delights will soothe our spirits throughout the wintertime. Your reminder of the soothing and therapeutic delights of footbaths, taking the time to enjoy such soothing delights is much appreciated. 🍂 🫖
Thank you Terri for the wonderful film. I am staying with my son ,daughter in law & our 2 beautiful granddaughters. They live in a beautiful part of mid Wales on their small holding. I was able to watch the film outside in the beautiful sunshine. So peaceful and inspiring. Thank you Lol for the music. I will definitely enjoy a relaxing footpath when I get back home. Love & Blessings. Naomi x
Oh Terri, thank you, thank you, thank you, for reminding us of the simple pleasures that herbs can bring to anchor us in the present. A foot bath costs nothing and gives to others as well as ourselves. If only everyone enjoyed this simple herbal tonic when they arrived home from work, what a wonderful world it would be 😄 Also, thank you for encouraging us to honour life giving water (Loved that sweet little tune of Lol's!)
In many homes in Asian nations, they had an entry way where they had a bucket with a ladle which they wash their feet before entering the home. I didn't know the Irish had something similar too. That is so lovely how many nations have little detailed nuances like that which are so similar. In Santeria and 21 Divisions, we have daily herb baths that we prepare in a wooden container that has mixed perfumes and herbs which we throw over ourselves to remove the negative energies picked up from the outside. We also do floor washes with these baths to cleanse and bless the home. I still find it fascinating how so similar the cultures are throughout the world. That foot bath looks so relaxing.
You are a treasure💚 I love your red outfit today, gorgeous shawl and the footbath looks heaven sent! I love how you seem to have these little wells or springs all over Ireland, at least the west....Colette O'neill speaks of them often too.☘
I always learn from your videos. The history behind some of the practices as well as the healing properties of everything you use always fascinate me. Thank you for all you do! 🙏💚
Hello Terri thank you both the video, lovely to see the video. I do indeed enjoy a foot bath, it's a good way of grounding , I am glad the well is being cared for. 🙏🌹 You do a great job and an inspiration for many. Hugs and Blessings 💚🌹
I look forward to your relaxing, informative and beautiful videos every Sunday! You look lovely in red this week. I've been meaning to order your plant books for months now and have finally done it 😂 Thank you so much for caring about the earth, water, spirits and us mere mortals, Terri, you're an inspiration - and I love Lol's music too 🥰
Hi Terri! So interesting that there are hawthorns growing around the Holy Wells. And the story of the 7 sisters being in Ireland, Greece and Australia. Thank you for another wonderful video. Blessings!
Water is great for calming children they seem to have an easy natural affinity with it whether it's a bath or playing with a hosepipe. Here in New Zealand we have begun to officially celebrate Matariki which is the Seven Sisters. The Maori people have celebrated the time for many centuries. Here it is celebrated at the Winter Solstice in June so coincides with the beginning of the new planning for planting time. It's interesting that probably all of the earliest cultures celebrate the Seven Sisters and I'm pleased that NZ has recognised it's importance. Take care =-)
Thank you Terri for this treasure for the mind, eye and spirit. How fortunate the holy well is to have you as a caretaker, and how fortunate you live near one. I agree about how lovely you look in red and the scarf is exceptionally beautiful....matches you exactly. This may be my favourite, inspirational video. I don't know how you find the time to reply to all the comments, plus all the chores of home and garden, the find time for yourself. You are truly a magical goddess and very inspirational and you uplift everyone's spirits. Meegwetch or thank you, thank you, thank you. xox xox xox
Thank you so much. I try to reply as people have gone to the trouble of leaving a comment, which I really appreciate. It does take a lot of time though and sometimes I just can't do it. xx
Your healing foot bath looks lovely. That's something I'm going to do for myself today with some of the herbs I have. It's 38 F degrees outside now so soaking my feet in warm/hot water sounds like a great idea.
I look forward to your films every Sunday. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, magic, practical knowledge, and your beautiful home. Your lovely energy along with the gorgeous camera work and music make each film a magical trip to Ireland. Thank you. ❤
For many years I have imbibed my water with good words, salts and gifts from nature. I hear tell the current buzz word is 'structured water'! I sometimes make a strong herb infusion to add to my bath e.g. rosemary and calendular flowers is a favourite. You are doing a great job Terri and Lol. Much love to you. Xx
We have done that from time to time, until the labels wash off. We now have a glass water filter and have been meaning to do that - thanks for the reminder xxx Love to you too x
What a stunning video. I am wondering if your beautiful Hawthorne Berry colored dress was purposefully chosen as tribute to the Well, Hawthorn trees and the local environment. Your kitty is setting the bar for complete relaxation. Thank you.
Blessed be. Lovely film. I live in the US and lots of stress that is touching so many including myself. A foot bath is on my list today! Following the advise of my guides to maneuver through these times. Thank you Terri for inspiring a magical life✨

I look forward to your relaxing, informative and beautiful videos every Sunday! You look lovely in red this week. I've been meaning to order your plant books for months now and have finally done it 😂 Thank you so much for caring about the earth, water, spirits and us mere mortals, Terri, you're an inspiration - and I love Lol's music too 🥰
Oh thank you! Delighted to hear that xx
Thank you for all you do, this has inspired me to clear up my ancestors artesian well , from Wisconsin.
Wonderful! So glad to hear that. xx
Hi Terri! So interesting that there are hawthorns growing around the Holy Wells. And the story of the 7 sisters being in Ireland, Greece and Australia. Thank you for another wonderful video. Blessings!
The same story is in Italy too, my friend's brother lives in a village called the Seven Sisters. xx
Wow! That is so interesting! I am learning so much from you. Thank you.
The Seven Sisters have a link to the Pleiades but it is SO fascinating that the old legends are so similar all across the globe. xx
Ty for blessing the waters as they bless us 🙏🏼🩵🌈
And you too xx
This is so lovely. Thank you. I feel like I neglect and take for granted my feet. I’m going to try fresh rosemary and lemon verbena. 🌿🌻🌘💚
Good for you! xx
I look forward to your films every Sunday. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, magic, practical knowledge, and your beautiful home. Your lovely energy along with the gorgeous camera work and music make each film a magical trip to Ireland. Thank you. ❤
WOW!! I am blushing, thank you so much for such lovely words xx
Wonderful clip...copious thanx...
Happy feet just watching! This may be my reward for finishing module 3!😊 Blessings and many thanks.
You re welcome Lys. Looking forward to the assignment. xx
I need to do that for myself. Thank you. That cat looks so happy.
Do it soon! Do it now! Other wise you will forget xx
I really enjoy your explanation of historical Irish customs and practices and how they are reflected today
Glad you enjoyed them. The pattern still takes place at the other Holy Well and I might film that too xx
@@DanusIrishHerbGarden that would be great 😊
An absolutely gorgeous tabby cat and enjoyable video ❤
Glad you enjoyed it, she is a truly gorgeous cat. Thanks! xx
❤ Thank you a great reminder of something so simple with great healing benefits 🙏😊❤️ Have a wonderful week and blessings to all ❤️🙏😊
Blessings to you too xx
What a stunning video. I am wondering if your beautiful Hawthorne Berry colored dress was purposefully chosen as tribute to the Well, Hawthorn trees and the local environment. Your kitty is setting the bar for complete relaxation. Thank you.
|Ha ha - no the dress was a birthday present so I just wanted to wear it. xx
Blessed be. Lovely film. I live in the US and lots of stress that is touching so many including myself. A foot bath is on my list today! Following the advise of my guides to maneuver through these times. Thank you Terri for inspiring a magical life✨
Yes - do remember to look after and care for yourself xx

Absolutely beautiful…I never turn on a tap without thanking Mother Earth and the Water Nymphs for it but water straight from the ground is absolutely perfect💕🙏
That is a great habit - to always give thanks when using water. I do it too. xx
What a lucky well that is to have you looking after it.
Ha ha - I think I am the lucky one, to have it so close xx
Gosh I haven't had a foot bath in years but that has made me really fancy one. You look lovely in that outfit
I regularly have foot baths but never thought of putting herbs in. Love that! will certainly do now 💚
