Hello, I'm the HERO player who made it to the Top 4. It was an amazing tournament, and I had an incredible run this time, haha. I wish I could have played better in the Top 4 Duel so I could have won the tournament, but fate had other plans.
At 29:42 , one of my favorite reactions from Dkayed. He knew what I was cooking and realized I was about to win that game. Although Dkayed might not be playing Yu-Gi-Oh! on stream anymore, I still believe he's one of the best players. I hope to see him playing Yu-Gi-Oh! on stream again someday.

The fact that you brought in your rogue decks to take on this snake eye infested meta makes me glad i watch this series to begin with. Thank you guys so much for showing that rogue decks still can compete if your opponents are dumb or if you have theright hand.
This is definitely a case of people becoming bored with snake eyes. Doing the same normal ash into poplar combo 50+ times while praying they don’t have the right hand traps makes you question what is even the point of playing this game.
True!! Snake eyes just makes the game a stupid hand trap mini game, no reason to continue playing If you dont have the correct handtrap.
D/d/d claps them actually this meta is strange as I feel the top decks can be stomped it's not like impossible

Personally the only frustating thing about Snake Eyes is how many advantage Snake Eye Ash could generate. Outside of that it's just your usual link spam, it's still beatable to some extent

Branded is the same boring combo from the same braindead deck. D link is amazing due to having so many link lines. Use branded fusion GGz

To the D-Link player, virus, if you see this, I'd love to inform you that I'm so glad I've seen it climbing significantly after over probably 7 months of absence due to the banlist offensive hit.
But I believe that there is a little modification that you might consider, which is raider's knight into Arc rebellion Xyz dragon.
Maybe instead of the rank 6 and triple burst.
Well, the strategy goes as follows, you out your opponent's disruptions, which was a piece of cake during the deck's prime, then tracer sp recharger into an OTK +18 scene.
It literally carried me during the worst meta ever; the tear-spright one even before bystials getting me to diamond 1 when it was the highest rank out there and served a lot in the corresponding DC.
Nevertheless, the deck is lucky to have you as a pilot.

First i loved snake eye but now i cant play it bec, i do the same thing evrytime and ifi play mirror match without enough hand traps i surrunder

Impulse is a really nice in archetype handrail hand trap. But unless your running the fire engine and/or the fire attacker it’s only useful on your turn since all the other rescue Ace cards either activate on your turn only or require another rescue Ace on the field (preventer).
I like running 2 impulse and 1 engine and 1 attacker because it’s fun. It’s not meta.

honest question why is maxx c not banned ? every pot is limited to one but a card that makes u draw 8 cards is on 3 ? i dont get the reasoning

Maxx C is for the most part, 2nd turn support.
It's easy to imagine without Maxx C, turn 2 decks have less options to work with.
Turn 2 wins less

@@RecordToDeathToBoredom wasn’t there some analytics done on the WCS a year ago? Maxx c supports both players almost equally. At the end of the day, it just comes down to which player can draw and resolve it. Pots don’t autowin as hard as maxx c does.

This meta weekly top 16 more than any ive seen is just riddled with people overthinking and holding onto cards for next to no reason, every other duel someone has the perfect interuption but holds onto it cause they just overthink and try to play around every scenario instead of just trying to make playing for themselves easier, like yeah I get that snake eyes guy wanted to wait for dark law but you couldve gotten rid of wake up and he wouldnt even be able to summon dark law
No it's not Dkayed. You need to make a deck building guide for people so can actually learn how to build their decks and not just take what they see on here and think they're gonna sweep or be good. It'll bring so much more diversity and personality to the game and we get to see things people do on their own. 9/10 net deck. No personality. Just copy and paste. It's just not fun anymore when people are running the exact same 40 or 60 card deck with no difference in cards or anything, same combo same end board.

Every time i see snake eyes or rescue ace i just skip, cause the decks are boring af, i have seen all their combos and they don't do anything interesting. Well played to everyone that had a based deck(d-link, armed dragon, heros(when they don't set up floodgates), infernoble knights...)
I hate R-Ace but I hate Heroes even more. So glad heroes got clapped. They're the worst kind of floodgate deck. Atleast other floodgate decks doesn't make you wait 15 minutes to set their floodgates. Heroes just torture you for eternity
