Always has been.
It's still a strong deck, just not strong enough to take on snake eyes and raceist. Even with 2 Albions and 3 Saronir, I doubt they can do well against them.
Still made it to top 16 though, not all that bad. It's also been a tiered deck for god knows how long now.
Grand Magus made Top 16! (Hero player on top in the first game.) Looking forward to seeing his video about it.

I can't understanx why Hero deck which is basically a floodgate deck is loved by so many while floo which is also a floodgate deck but more outable is hated the most 😂
I think most people like the cards for nostalgia but hate dueling it.
HERO is an expensive deck meanwhile floo is a cheap deck, when Floo is still unnerfed in Master Duel, pretty much almost everyone can play the deck and it's annoying for the player base

Firstly, I don't play heroes, but I understand why people like hero deck. It's a very good anime set. Secondly, it's really difficult, not as easy as penguins. Thirdly, floodgates are annoying, but it's easy to counter heroes, so even if you play against them, it's not as annoying as runick, and lastly, heroes are strong. In going second and other things, I really prefer to play against heros than against runick, labr, branded, sneaky eyes, penguins, or any stupid stun decks.
@@OmarAhmed-pk8zs I like dueling heroes too until they summon that hero that prevents you from using spells. Dark Law is oppressive enough, then they had that too.

does ip masq --> avramax counters rescue-ace?
It might stall a turn depending on circumstances, but not really. They just declare avramax with the guy that prevents activations and then crash or beat over it with a big machine boosted by the field spell.

Impulse can counter Avramax boost,they just need to crash him with Turbulence (or even better when its boosted by Field Spell and / or Reinforce)

Does living fossil not work on monsters that have been hit by gamma ?
MSB could’ve gone into Angelica and proceeded to pop off.
They already normal summoned the connector so after living fossil they can't get the ricciardetto on the field.
Also for the people that were saying to ash the gamma in chat, gamma isn't hopt so I'm pretty sure as long as the opp holds the gamma for isolde/angelica it's over.
@@maxzhang721 no he should have ashed. Neo Space Connector goes to Aqua Dolphin which he could have used to force out gamma. Then he could revive Aqua Dolphin with Living Fossil and make Isolde from there.
Even without knowing the opponent’s hand, Ash is the right choice here.

Given that there is no way to play around the gamma, holding the ash and just praying an ash and imperm are enough to stop the opp turn 2 is the safest bet imo.

Is that the Marincess player doesn't have Zealantis in the deck? What is the point of playing Marincess if you never summon Zealantis? I see a lot of opportunity to win if the Marinces player summons Zealantis. Because non-destroy removal is good against decks that want to be destroyed.
He does have zeal but had he summoned coral tri instead of marbled rock he could have won second match

snake eye player has ash blossom in hand. No top deck is going to save him
Snake eyes also hasn’t normal summoned yet so he coulda just summoned the ash and linked into hiita or something with the jet synchron. Since he already ttt’ed and saw the hand, he doesn’t have to worry about nib.
Actually, what are u even saying. He literally has lethal with what’s on board. Flamberge, zealantis, and princess is over 8k damage. That’s the most basic snake eye otk line.

Since he revived Jet by its own effect, when it leaves the field it’s banished and treated as being banished by its own effect instead of Zealantis’s. Which means Zealantis cannot summon it back.

Hero is the dumbest deck. So many in-engine floodgates. Everyone rightfully complains about Arise-Heart or something like Kairyu-Shin but Plasma and Cosmo somehow get a pass.
because people is just bias af, they still pretend that hero is an interactive otk deck when in reality they just another combo deck that wasting your time with their long combo that end on floodgate
