Fire king was my first deck back in Dueling Network & then Fire king Yubel in DL & then Master duel before taking Unchained..
always enjoyed „destroy ur own cards“ tech.. would totally play the new support
I think I still have my fire king Yubel deck with Jaden on Duel Links too. It was so fun to play. Think im going to skip on them for now in this current meta though.

The hate i have for Snake Eyes is just more and more and more
For those not in the know; Garunix's girlfriend Ulkanix makes the deck strong enough to be played by itself and gives the deck a dedicated Normal summon so you don't have to rely on Snake-Eyes for your Baby Ponix. It's honestly huge that MD will be getting it with the rest of cards out the gate.
good to know. I was looking forward to playing actual firekings and not just splashing an engine to snake eyes. maybe with just sinful spoils engine.

My first deck was the Lightsworn deck. I was still a primary school student at the time. Now I have been a veteran player of the Lightsworn deck for more than ten years. When will the reinforcements for the Lightsworn deck be released on MD?
The new support came out this month in the TCG, so likely around October/November.
Nobody knows. Salama great support came out around the same time it did in TCG, but I've been waiting on Ghoti for like 6 months. MD is a gamble but I'd say a few months to a year.

Fire Kings will give SE a higher power ceiling but it also has a higher skill floor. I’m not too worried about FKSE specifically, but it will just increase the longevity of snake eyes.

It's funny how people defend tier 0 decks with the "yu gi oh is a competitive game so we need tier 0 competitive decks" thesis.
Bro, a game is competitive (for real) when to be the best one you need to know how to interact in every situation, how and when to activate traps, how to build an end board (all related to player skills).
If the player just have to copy & paste the same combo lines (no matter what the meta is) on youtube or to ask for deck lists there is no skills involved.

Playing fire kings means less hand traps, I feel it’s going to be worse than snake-eyes.
But if konami going to further hit snake eyes to force us play fire kings then fuk konami, I just spent 9k gems on winged dragon of Ra and got only 3 cards related to the pack.. I don’t have gems for this.

Ok here's my hot take: i don't hate fire king being the best deck. The deck centers around making garunix on your opponent's turn to wipe the board which is very possible to play around, especially if you just put the stupid cyclones in your deck. The degeneracy comes when you have these multi archetypal strategies like fkse that end on like, 8ish interruptions and have a hundred ways to get around your handtraps, but the way things are shaping up in the tcg and ocg, pure fire king seems to be more consistent and therefor better, which i think is probably fine, and i personally prefer it to decks like snake eye, or brainless decks like tenpai and kash
