Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on UA-cam yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyrobin.com/crochet...

Thanks. That worked.
Love doing this sort of colour change. Been doing it for 60 years. And it does look lovely when one of the yarns is a variegated. Made a wheelchair shawl with five colours and a coordinating multi coloured yarn. Very comfy. Just need to find someone to give it to.
Thank you. I don't know why that never occurred to me. Simple solution once I see it. Love your channel.
I really like this. It will be very warm for the winter weather. I'm not stuck in isolation. I don't go anywhere unless I absolutely have too. Stay safe as well.
Same here
I recently found your channel looking for a granny square tutorial, after looking at numerous tutorials, my granny squares weren’t looking right. As soon as I followed yours, it’s turned out perfect and now I’m making my first blanket while in isolation, so I just wanted to say thank you! Can’t wait to follow your other videos 🥰
🥰🧶
I just love your tutorials. You are absolutely adorable and so talented.
This is older but I love this!!! Gonna try it with Worsted yarn because I have it in my stash. Thank you!
That sounds wonderful! 😃🧶
Wow! This is fantastic, I'm already imaging all the lovely things I can do with this idea . . . thankyou so much
This is a lovely afghan. Thanks for sharing the beautiful ombré effect with solid colors. Nice technique and not difficult to manage. Thanks for sharing ❤️
This blanket is gorgeous Robin. I'm going to try this, but, I think I'll carry the necessary yarn up the side and put on a border. I hate sewing in all those tails ♥️
Very wise 😂 I always regret my decision to cut the yarn when it comes to dealing with those pesky ends!
Obsessed with the rainbow. This will be more first blanket so I only bought 3 colors so we shall see how it turns out
Just brilliant. Simply solves a color problem. My granddaughter loves purple. I was going to crochet her a bed blanket , but Caron discontinued the color... this is a simple solution. Thanks.
I absolutely love this method of ombre/color fade! So many possibilities! Thank you! Take care! 💗🧶
I luv your rainbow blanket I'm going to make that for myself thanks for putting a smile on my face 🌈🌈🌈💜 I luv listening to you you make it so easy to understand how to do crouching thanks so much 🙂🌈🌈🌈🌈🙂

Wow! It's a marvellous way to play with fading the colours!! Thanks so much!
I have started my 6th baby blanket this year - this time I'm doing this colour fade idea and I'm loving it. Thank you for this idea.
Amazing idea!
I would use magic knots when I change colors though to avoid weaving ends and it would make keeping the tension at the end of rows easier.. Amazing idea as usual 👏👏👏 Thanks a lot for sharing your inspirations 🌷
Ah yes! Good thinking! 👍
Rose Smile. Hello what are magic knots when you're changing your wool please? Hate weaving in the ends myself.
Love from Ireland xxx
Love this! Soooo pretty and I especially love the colors you chose! Will definitely use this idea in the future. 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️💕
Beautiful blanket! I have made several with this same process in the past but it has been a great while. I'm so happy for this reminder as each one is so lovely. My favorite color combinations have been the highly contrasting colors. Bright red, deep purple, chartreuse, orange, turquoise, bright yellow!
I have so much yarn that I’ll be able to use many colors for a queen-size blanket. I’ll be starting this pattern soon. Thanks for this great pattern!

Love the colours in this blanket which I have in my yarn stash! I just started your Lotus Flower blanket yesterday,
It is so addictive, I’m at row 20 already. I was needing some inspiration as past few weeks I just seem to have brain fog on what to crochet.
You explain things so well Robin, and I’m sure a beginner would be able to follow your pattern and video easily. Thank you for taking time to make these videos, Some tutorials seem to over complicate patterns, but you explain things (in my opinion) very clearly.
So glad you are finding my videos helpful!
Love it!!
