Nice story and tribute. The Unser family means alot to racing fans. Indianapolis meant alot to Bobby, Al and Al Jr. Growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico I had the chance to run into each of them around town. All very gracious with their time and all offered a firm handshake. Great guys and a tremendous loss to the sport of auto racing. RIP "Uncle Bobby"!
I am sorry for that, we(i am from Austria) lost in one Year 2 really open wheel Legends from the same Family . I love IndyCar racing more than Formula 1....and all I can' say is - Al and Bobby Unser Rest in Peace, we will never forget you and I pray for you an your Family!!!!!

Can you believe that in back to back days that we have lost two legends in two different nascar races
This one hurts!
sad lost another great driver R.I.P
No way he used too drive into my drive way in 1972
Nothing against Bobby but with 4 4 time winners, Im not sure if he's on Indys Mt Rushmore or not?
