A little late on this, but what a gem of a video.
I'm AUDI thru and thru. Thanks for this.

Thanks for uploading as well. I remember the article in Car and Driver about this run back in 1986 as a teen and dreamed of this very car. Now seeking to relive this car if I can find one in good shape. Classic !!

It seems, to me anyway, that Audi knew what they were doing back then even as their AWD system was being developed as compared to now. I would much rather have an Audi built in the 80s and 90s over a brand new one. The newest ones just have too much onboard tech. The current problem with owning an old Audi is the lack of parts for them. Ive had a few Audis ranging from a 2000 TT and A8 to a 1984 Gen1 quattro and i would much rather have the older Audi or maybe a FWD TT.

I know the feeling. Owning an old Audi could be great if you have deep pockets. I had a urs4 for a bit but got rid of it cause it kept requiring so much of my money lol. The 5 cylinder turbo sound was amazing but not worth it enough.

And this is why a lot of us still stick to the urs4s and b5s, yeah parts are hard to find here in the states but if you have family or are off the boat like a lot of us are its not a big issue. Nothing beats the old torsen driven quattros and their build quality. The new s4s just dont have that cool factor anymore.

@@b5Bart we have an 02 VW 3BG "B5.5" awd wagon, and its been a great car overall and generally easy to work on. 265k one owner miles. Easy heater core replacement, easy timing belt replacement, and decent V6 power with no real available power upgrades to worry about, just happy with what it is as it is.
