These food videos are so dense with content, any other food vlogger would make 5 videos with this much content.
Shows how much effort he puts into each video. Great job man.
he has an entire team behind him its not just a one man effort
@@KenGold666 Captain receives the trophy, obviously it takes the whole team.
Well you can't hate other content creator for doing that because its tiring but Sonny have a team for it
@@user-bf6pz6kj8f Hate? Just comparatively calling him better than some of the others doesn't qualify for hating on them.
Korea/Vietnam are my favorite countries to see Sonny visit. So much seafood i never knew existed as an American
Bro i love eating meat seafood chicken but that abalone was being fuuuuken tortured
No offence. But tbh most of the americans are not having board exposures espeically geographically and food wise. Strongly recommemd to travel more
I'm half european and half vietnamese so I had so many different foods since childhood
Yes because they have nice seafood 😊😊
@east8792 tortured abalone hey ..? Hmmmm..
don't forget to brush after abuse.
The Korean dude’s name was 3 syllables: 신행철 (or something like that). The way he said it was “신짜, 행짜, 철짜: 신행철.” He was trying to break it down by syllable for you but ended up making it more complicated 😂
Ahh, thanks for the extra detail!
Have no clue what you're talking about but I think it would be interesting!
@@canadianeskimogirl I’m talking about 12:07 when Sonny asks the shrimp guy for his name.
@@canadianeskimogirlIf his name is Shin Heng Chul, he was breaking it down by saying my name is Shin character, Heng character, Chul character, Shin Heng Chul. Jja or cha means character.
@@canadianeskimogirlit's also a way if showing respect to the person whose you're saying his/her name. For example, if someone asks what your dad's name is, instead of saying Shin Heng Chul, you would say Shin jja, Heng jja, Chul jja.
You know you guys brought back memories from when I a toddler in Korea 44 years ago. I remember the eels, the dried sea rays, the snails. It's been so long I have forgotten about Korea, mostly because I got adopted to an American family and been Americanized. I am almost 50, this trip you took to Korea brought back so many memories like it was only yesterday. I haven't forgotten about hearing the screaming pigs being butchered in the streets when someone bought one as well. But those eels what really jogged my memory. I almost went back to Korea when I was in the US Army but at the last minute the Army changed my assignment to Afghanistan.
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
wow what a story! I wish u can ever visit Korea again in ur lifetime whenever you have the chance! cheers.
The army did you dirty for nothing. That's like being told you're getting a puppy for Christmas so you behave but end up getting a job instead.

@@toolbaggers in Korea dogs were what beef cows and chickens are to Americans, I remember that as well🤣
Yes, dokdo Island is part of Korea. They even made a song about it lol
Korean people are literally inhabiting it right now. So idek why there is even a question. If you go to Japan, they make it sound like it's theirs and they have control over it, but they do not. Interesting rivalry between the two.
@@BWTECH0521 What about Jeju?
Hello sonny! I really love your videos and i learn so much from it! Im from the Netherlands and you should do a episode on dutch snack bars and cuisine! It would be really interesting to see you try the fast food places here like bram ladage and febo!
Always so happy to see a new video dropped. This is my fav show and can't wait to taste some Korean dishes soon. That abalone looked amazing!
Those Dokdo shrimps were the BEST tasting shrimp I ever had in my life. Theyre so crazy sweet for shrimp.
You should be eating MANTIS SHRIMP THOSE ARE ONE OF MY FAV SEA FOODS its e bit sweet but its like crab and shrimp and other shell fish
My guy if you jave ANY CRAB OR SHRIMP HAVING EGGS IT JUST MAKE IT MORE DELICOUS
@@NpcGreenAssasin.........H Woah that's a lot of capital letters bruv
@@iShowSpeed_moa0 yes
Did u eat them raw also?
Some are hesitate to have them even in Korea. So brave of you to try everything and anything around ther world. I hope you had a nice time being here.
I love that you are up to tasting any kind of food. Hats off to you.
Really love your content sunny, been watching for 3 years now. Ur amazing. Thank you for all the amazing content
I believe Sonny when he says that's the best raw shrimp he's had in his life - looked bangin'!
I'd also say the price was alright, given the complementary crabs...
@vladislavdonchev1271 absolutely!
먹어보면 진짜 맛있지
비싼게 흠이지만..
As a Korean I didn't know the whale bycatch rate here was higher than other countries'. Thank you for sharing the information. I think we should prohibit eating even accidentally caught whales to protect them.
I am Korean living in Australia and I have never tasted all the food in this video. Thank you for sharing and I will try all of them when I have a chance to visit Busan. Busan is such a beautiful city in Korea.
I love this show so much. The boombastic side eye edit had me in stiches LOL As always, so cool to see these rare seafood items that I'll likely never come across unless I visit Korea. Thanks for sharing as always, Sonny, and making us laugh!
Were going to Korea!
Yes skining alive a animal and throwing a animal alive on a bbq is so much fun .
I might get a dog from my local shelter and do the same .( It's fun )
@@julienfroidevaux1143 You sound like the life of the party! 🎉 Keep doing you, baby girl.
Be careful if you’re a westerner. A lot of shops have a hobo on stand by and have them drain their boils in the westerners food.
Do not eat if you don’t see it fully prepared.
Sonny in N episode in India had custard and I could tell it was from a boil and they don’t serve custard
@@charliep9066 Thanks I will .
I will always side for the victims and not the abusers .
If you are down with animal abuse I hope you one day you don't do you .
How much abuse is to much ?
They boil dogs alive in China or beat them to death with a stick .
Are you down with that ?
Would you still be lol and telling Sonny how much fun his videos are .?
High rates of psychopathy / human abuse in the animal abusing community .
I DONT KNOW WHY YOUR CHANNEL IS STILL NOT HIT 10 MILLION SUBSCRIBES YET 😭💕 YOUR VIDEOS ARE AMAZING !!! the way you show all the details of every little things , the way you enjoying it and your senses of humor is the main reason why I always watch these videos, it’s bring me a lot of joy and make me love this life even more!!! I love watching your videos, because I get to see other cultures foods. And I love watching you react to their foods. ❤

Your videos are so funny and witty. Keep up the great work!
I really like this style of video. So straight forward and honest, no filter.
Always gotta give Sonny and the team for constantly upping there game well done :)
Eventhough I am a Korean, I havent even tried those foods before. Thank you much to try Busan seafood and street food. 😊
I LOVE it !!! Love your show , keep up the great work !!!!
I used to hate seafood and vegetables. When I visited Korea in 2009, that all changed. Now I'm hooked.
I loved this episode. I have fond memories of many visits to Korea back in my Navy days.
꽃새우 진짜 맛있죠…
한국 해산물 중에 가장 비싼 해산물일꺼에요
Thank you for a very nice video about Korean seafood stalls👍
Dude I love your videos! I'm going to South Korea next year and I love seafood I'm definitely checking out all the spots you hit in your videos! I just became a big fan 🪭
the way the gentleman said his name (at 12:08) is the formal way of stating your name in korean hence why it was longer than the usual three syllables hahah
he adds 'jja' to the end of each syllable and then at the end he says his full name as you would do when normally introducing yourself!
Love every content of yours ❤️
Always loving the work of you - & your team, Sonny! Well done again!🎖🎖🎖 (Have been to the Pusan big Seafood Market several times over several years - about 20 years ago now. That was always quite entertaining- especially one time when a giant octopus was trying to escape a bucket & ‘run’ away…….😎😎😎
dude! your korean phrases sound great! we appreciate the effort!
I am from the inland area of South Korea and this was a refreshing experience for me as there is no seafood in our local traditional food.
Indeed the best ever food review show ,EVER!!!
Never expected you coming to Korea!
glad you came and hope you enjoyed food in Korea
연어훈제나 오징어 버터구이 외에는 해산물 못 먹는 나로서는 저렇게 처음보는 해산물도 막 먹을수 있는게 너무 존경스러움ㅎㅎ
😂 I laughed so hard when she one handed that dog shark. Your edits are great.
Your show is so awesome I don't want to miss a single episode ❤
This was a great video your so entertaining love u sunny thank you for sharing buddy!!!
As a Korean, other than the first hag fish, even I have never tried the food you had! Thank you for sharing such experience,...and braving it for us xD
man, some of these foods, even Korean people will never touch. Kudos and respect to you!!!
Best channel I love your videos so damn much. Both channels are amazing.
The Best videos of the day.. hands down
좋은 음식들 많이 드셨네요❤
My fav food channel, every single vid is entertaining, Sonny is a fun witty guy! (as a Japanese speaker, Korean is somehow frustrating to me, it sounds as if I almost would and should understand it, the only thing I get, though is kamsa hamnida-> kansha shimasu/thanks)
love ur adventurous nature.
We went to Busan a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely loved it.
He said shrimp was too expensive, but he got back the service shrimp into fish tank.
He threw out 22$ service, and chef gave him to eat that alive
I could watch sonny all day every day.
That g ay as hell
Me & my friends smoked some and now we are enjoying this feast treat for eyes it's like i can almost smell it 😂
funniest and most honest foodie in the World. i will not stop until i have seen All your videos
I am Korean and I just search for that chicken shrimp price, the price range for 10 chicken shrimps is from 120 to 400 usd. Depends on the size. And it is the price from online market. But u went to the store and they prepared for u. So I guess u paid the right amount.
I love the korea videos! I love all your videos you make such great quality content Thankyou
한국인들도 저런 해산물 싫어하는 사람 많은데... 대단하시네요
Those shrimps looks great. Also the hag fish!... i tried raw lobster and its great too. Sweet
*Love eating Korean foods*
You should try Bak-tae; a extremely rare fish only found in a city called gun-san.😊
장어를 만지면서 몽정을 떠올리다니 ㅋㅋ
자막 번역이 너무 완벽하네요!
I wish I knew sonny was in my hometown, Busan! ahhh i hope you enjoyed Busan, Sonny!
Sonny: I do enjoy your adventures but this foodie tour was a little exotic! I really think you have a great production & editing team. Great to recognize your local guide! I not a fan of some of those dishes, especially the raw fish & shrimp but it was very informative! Your Korean is very good! Did you teach English in Korea? Vietnam?
LOOOOVE the seafood videos!
a PEACE.. I LOVE THIS GUY.. THE WAY HE REVIEW THE WAY HE SPEAK
Aww, that all looked good. Never had Abalone yet but plan on it sometime soon- it's expensive in America. The Hag fish was way strange and the dog shark didn't look very good. All the shrimp looked awesome- and shrimp is my fav- but I've never had it raw before. thanks for another entertaining video.
잘보고갑니다~
한국에 오실때마다 좋은일이 가득하시길 바랍니다^^
Being 1/4 Korean, I’ve always wanted to go to Soul where my grandmother was born and try all of the delicious food she always talked about! She used to make me some things that were unbelievable! Unfortunately on the weekend she was up for my graduation.. she passed the day she started teaching me how to cook Korean food.. I’d love to watch her as a kid again and I’d do anything to go visit and eat this stuff like you did Sunny!!
Love you and ur shows!!! Make More!!!!!🎉😊😅
That shark looked so cute! 🤩
(True!) Life lesson: it doesn't always suffice to look cute.
@@theobaldlolworth4717 Especially when Sonny's around
When I lived in England you could buy a pint of prawns, one day on the table next to me they threw all the ones with eggs into the side, so I asked if I could have them, they said be our guest, so I did, yummy, although they are pretty small, they were lovely! Thanks for the upload, Sonny. 👍👍❤❤
Would love to try the food you eat! Great show
FYl all of this sea food is hardcore level even for the most of Korean
but I'm kind of want to try raw shrimp as a foodie experience.
My IBS could never - living vicariously through Sonny always ❤
Gross
I have IBS too but I think many times that it's worth trying new things, even if it will cause me pain/discomfort later. The experience might just be worth the trouble!
My IBS meds have really changed my life, I can eat everything now and not worry about getting bloated or running to the bathroom. It’s saved me so much misery
@@stott2hot I’m on Humira but I still have flares - normally while traveling 🙄🙃
@@hmarie0323 I was just diagnosed 6 months ago so maybe I’m overly confident but I haven’t had a single flare up in 4 months (under some very stressful conditions too Lol). I wish you the best on your future! Hopefully your body adjusts. I’m on Humira and Lexapro
Haha love you William
You always have me cracking up
Those shrimp are in season for a very short period, and can confirm they are expensive. Glad you enjoyed them!
Wow. unbelievable!! I'm Korean, and I can confirm that these seafood meal course is hard-core even for Koreans
Imagine eating the hagfish while it was still moving and feeling it wriggling and jiggling inside you
As always, Sonny, I loved it!! I would have loved to try those raw shrimp with you.
Shrimp looks good. I tried some of the smaller shrimps for around 10 dollars per shrimp and it’s the best I’ve had in my life.
Its pretty cool to see that there’s actually a lot more diversity of seafood than the norm.
Your wife should host and you be the camera man for an episode 😂😂
I think what I learnt in school as exotic is an understatement.
Im getting a picture that people can eat anything 😂😂
“That’s a long name” I love this man’s instant reactions lmao
That shrimp looks so good!
The greatest shrimp bite in UA-cam history. 15:01
"they also, don't have brains." 😅 Awesome Sonny, you rock 🤘🏼
The abalone enjoys this
I love your content dawg
rarest food volg excellent I can’t thank you enough for such a well-researched video. Perfect video on the subject.❤
That hagfish was horrifying , the fact that it still moves that long after dead and while being cooked, I’d have to be nearly starving to eat that
I believe it's still alive - they cut only a part of the brain off. (Octopus also has brains divided to it's body. Each tentacle can live like and individual, if the command from the dominating brain is not too strong.)
Due to its special metabolism it survives the "operation", ALIVE. Even the skin peeling, becaus pain doesn't kill it - it lacks the ability to go into catatonia/shock, obviously. But it remains te ability to resist beibg killed by destroying its tissues.
It needs a certain structure to move, smaller pieces might still be alive, but burnig it alive will denaturate/kill it in cell-level for sure.
I could not even imagine eating that, even if it had a normal ability to die.
SONNY YOU MUST COME TO THE UK! WE HAVE ALMOST NO GOOD FOOD
not one? name at least one decent UK food
@@kowalskikowalski8080 Well what I find decent might not be what you find decent, but I'd say a full English breakfast, fish and chips and trifle are a few good ones.
Wow I've never seen that chicken shrimp before how neat... Wow that's some expensive shrimp... Never seen shrimp eggs wonder if there salty or shrimpy tasting
This kind of video has so much content that you can make so many youtube shorts from this one video
Joe u rock!!
Thanks my friend!!!
All these Asian countries (Korea for example) have everything. Amazing food, amazing service, all the market vendors are cleaner than most restaurants in NA
Yeah altho the food can be very very different, korean food isnt anywhere similar as ,for example, food in Iran (west asia). Personally i prefer East+Southeast Asias food (except indonesian , filipino ,malay or burmese , never tried theyr food)
Sonny pls come to Northan Nigeria explore & know our local traditional food. ABUJA, KANO & Adamawa state
Nom nom, thank you for sharing
Wondering which whale you preferred, SK or Faroe Islands? Not many people can say they had whale (or bile, or goat poop) on multiple continents. More reasons to love BEFRS/MBEFRS.
Faroe.
that abalone scene was unexpectedly brutal
Was kind of awesome lol
Yeah.. especially the part with "..they also don't have brain" 😂
yes but since they don’t have a brain they don’t have a nervous system - don’t have the capacity to feel pain
When Sonny said no brains- he meant you 😂
@@Pango5697 wow.. brutal..
Sashimi is the best dish in the world in Korea!
In the video, grooming eels came out cruel, but they taste really good! Dokdo shrimp is an expensive food in Korea, but you must try it!
But I don't like whale meat either!
Try a greggs in Newcastle upon Tyne....the berth place of the Stottie
dokdo shrimp ❤
Now I am hungry, Unfortunately I only have frozen shrimps here
