I love miniature setups. I made a what i though was a good Jurassic Park paddock for my snapper but he escaped in minutes. Not really escape but he was on top of it showing his defiance. LOL. I like your drive to make your setup. I'm sure you will tweak it. But its nice. My snapper seems to like dinosaur sounds, so a nice motion control activation for people with Jurassic Park music and dinosaur sounds with lighting at night time would make this setup bling when guest arrive. I would love to see a low level POV video of a walk through. Totally loved the work and paddocks.
Such a sick project. You just need a speaker and play the jurassic park theme song. Im sure youncouldnt because of copy right reasons. I also think you shouldve made the ponds in each section 2/3s so they they would have a platform to come out of instead of just a basking rock or side edges. But regardless, this was the coolest turtle enclosurre ive seen. Fron the walkway, the gate, to even the electrical fences. Job well done!!!
At the moment, drop in bucket filter+water changes+bioactive elements... I'm looking for a large plastic cow to make it a drop in filter JP style. Or if I need a summer project, I'll build something crazy 😇
They were sealed to prevent any leaching and they never touch the actual pond water, so rain run off would be the only concern, but again, they were sealed using a clear coat just in case. I decided not to use river stone as it collects debris and wastes which will promote extreme algae blooms. Thank you so much for your concern ❤️🐢
A diy drop-in bucket filter along with bioactive elements. Currently looking for a cow lawn ornament to convert to a drop in filter to mimic that iconic Jurassic Park scene.
Alternatively for the cinder blocks you could get some tree branches and fern leaves and hold them up against the block before spray painting over leaving a nice outline of the leaves, that method is often used to camouflage rifles
Super awesome!
Great job
Love it! ❤❤❤❤😂😂😂

I’m inspired to make this haha
How do you keep the water clean in this setup?

cool idea. what kind of filtration are you using?
素晴らしいイケてる(*´∀`)
The spray paint and the cinder block are going to leach into the water and posting the turtles should have used river stone.

What do you use for filtration ? Turtles are so dirty

The music ruined the video. Pretty annoying
