i like how they do show the mermaids, but only as a hint really, kinda representing a hidden creature who lives far out in the ocean and not often seen, i like it!
It's fixable though. Once fixed, you just play off a copy of the savegame and it's great! It's one of my favorite worlds and the EP is my all-time favorite! Also, you can make your own dive lots in other worlds! And if you don't feel like making any, there are a lot of fan-made worlds with diving lots and no lags!
I'm gonna buy it for Christmas !!! It will be my 2nd expansion pack (I have supernatural only) ! But because I heard a lot of rumors does it still lagg? Please answer

You're getting new CAS options,new life states, new deaths, new hair, new clothing, a new world, new decor, new objects, new interactions, new jobs, new places, and so on. It's an EP and not DLC for a reason.

The only things that should've been in the base game is weather, the ability to swim in the ocean & maybe pets other than that It has all of the things a new game would have. You can actually be a mermaid, wich is really cool, but you cant make them in CAS(create a sim), but you can buy the lifetime reward that will give you a kelp that will transform you in to a mermaid. You can also get the kelp from a mermaid, or you can just wohoo with one and get a baby one (50% non mermaid 50% mermaid) They can also die by dehydration! But it is so freaking cool. I wanna be one too. Cant wait for this to come out!

That's like asking: why don't they just go bankrupt? If Sims 4 was to include everything within the Sims 3 expansion, then it'll cost more. Here's how things work: time+effort= the quality of the product, the higher the quality, the higher the price because there's employee wages and company wages to think about. So more stuff equals more money for us to cough out. So yes, it's about money, it's always about money. Profits mean everything to businesses. That's what they strive on.
Cannibalism is when one species eats the same exact/ for example sharks are cannibals because they eat other sharks. However fish are a type of animal just like mammals. So mermaids would only be cannibals if they ate other mermaids. -the more you know-
We would not even get half this content in a Sims 4 version.
