Hello and thx for this Video!
I have some questions.
1. To the discription you spocke about 1,5 lt Milk but in the Video you have use two botlles of one lt each = 2lt. So what is the correct?
2. The Other think that i would like to khow is how many litters is the final Product? ( I mean before you Mixed with Water)
3. Becauce i Want to use Huge amounts From this, do i Need Always to Produce IT From the beginning each time that i Need IT? Or can i keep a small amount of ready Mix and add some Water and some Molasse For example?
Thank a lot ❤️
In creating an EM 3 processes must be followed.
The first process is to ferment rice water for 7 days. This water can be used only sparingly when mixed with milk is sufficient.
The second process is after being added with milk so it should be fermented for another 7 days.
The third process is the addition of molasses/brown sugar
1. My bad. 2 liters. Sorry about that
2. depend on how much do you use water and when you add molasses
3. EM 1 is a starter. So if you have EM solution no need make from begining you can just add milk and molasses. Or just put a cup of EM solution in milk then after 7 days you can added molasses.
Thanks for watching
whats the shelf life???
Can this be used in fish pond with live fish? Does it help with ammonia reduction and making water more suitable for growth of fish?
If it can be used, then what is the dosage?
Yes you can use this solution for your pond. It will clean the water in the pond.
Can i use this EM solution for making Compost Soil?
Yes,you can
Sure
Can use it to feed my cows thank you
Yes
How should I know the amount of brown sugar needed? If I don't use molases
The amount of brown sugar needed it same with amount of molasses.
Sister can I use this EM 1 solution for fermenting Rice Husk.
Yes,
in what ratio do you mix it with water to spray the bokashi
Can i used this in pig feed or spray around for good smell
Yes, you can use it in pig feed.
My em 1 has a light white foam on the top is this the healthy living bacteria

This would be lactid acid bacteria, which is a bit different than em1,... am I wrong?
Yes. This is lactic serum.
Can I add the curd to my bokashi bran compost pile?
Oooof 🤣 right after I wrote the comment

can use it on ornamental and flowering plant?
Yes

How could there be a bacteria if both r boiled???
Hi, can I used condensed milk to make this fertilizer?
No, I am sorry. You can't use condensed milk to make this fertilizer. But you can use milk powder or fresh milk for this. Thanks
What are your thoughts on using yogurt?
I keep wondering if we could use the whey that slowly develops on yoghurt instead of rice water but I think we would just get LAB and not EM which should also contain phototrophic bacteria which plays an important role.
I don’t see clearly about milk in your video. How many litres of total milk in this formula? Thanks for sharing
1 liter
Pl any answers my question. We can use non fat milk too
Yes you can use it.

can we extend EM1 like we buy from organic supplier?
Yes.

Both
@@CarlzJafran sister can I use this EM1 solution for fermenting Rice husk.
@@Siddharth90793 Yes. You can use EM1 to fermenting rice husk.
i have try this but in 4 days time my rice solution had been distroyed & became odoros, whats the problem? i did it for several attempt, still the same re sult...
Maybe with your environment/weather, 4 days may be too long. After u have collected your rice water, just smell it every day until u smell that it has changed from a plain smell to a sweetish one. That's the time u can add to the milk already
Can I use jaggery instead of molasses?
Yes, you can.
Can I use sugar cane molasses?
Yes
Is EM1 the only fertilizer that you use on your plants?
No. EM1 is fertilizer for soil not for the plants. I use EM to improve the soil (add good bacteria in it) so that plants can easy to absorb the fertilizer that I put in soil. Yes I use some trype of fertilizer for my plants such as chicken manure, cow dung and many more.
Can i use it to my chickens?
yes
I dont have molasses. Can I replace it with Jaggery?
Yes you can use it for your EM. I also use batu nisan / gula kabung (local name) for my EM. It is similar process with jaggery.
@@CarlzJafran so how much quantity should i add of jaggery as it is in dry form
@@naturallyfatima5205 Depend on the quantity of your EM liquid. For example, if your EM liquid is 1 liter you can add jaggery about 1.5 kilos or 2 kilos. More jaggery you added to make your EM smell good.
Is it use to make EMAS?
Yes
@@CarlzJafran how do we use it emas is it 900ml of water, 50ml EM1 and 50ml mollases..
What’s non-chlorine water?? Can we just use normal water? If you don’t mind,I want to ask how can l get non-chlorine water. Is chlorine consist in drinking water too?
Non-chlorine water is water that is not mixed with chlorine in it. Water pipes (At your kitchen) is one example of being supplemented with chlorine.
You can use filtered water or similar. You can use water from pond, river, and also rain. However if you use water pipes, it needs to be rested for 2 days to release chlorine in it.
But I see each pot put 1 bottles of milk. I think 1 bottle of milk is 1 titre. So 2 bottles are 2 titres

Can you expand this?
About what?
Can these be used in hydroponics?
I've seen guys doing cannibis in hydro grow logs swear by beneficial microbes in the nutrient solution I'm sure a foliar spray of this would be fine as long as no bright lights are on until it dries.
is it effective in decomposing non biodegradable wastes like fruit and vegetable peels?
if you never got your answer. yes. you can put it in bokashi bucket to ferment and break down with em
Btw Fruit and vegetable peels are biodegradable.
how long does this solution last when completed?
About 3 weeks
This isn't em1, it is lactic acid bacteria. You can store it in the fridge for a couple weeks, or you can mix it with molasses to activate and stabilize, then you don't need to refrigerate. A little goes a long way. When used as a foliar feed the beneficial bacteria will outcompete powdery mildew and other pathogens.

Ok, so thanks for the demo but em-1 is for using on bokashi. Itself is not a fertilizer. The leachate from bokashi it's a fantastic fertilizer and the bokashi itself. Again great demo on making em-1.
Thanks for the info. Appreciated... happy gardening
It's not a fertilizer but still add microorganisms to the soil and if the leaves have pests it might also help repel them?
Think this might be a language translation technicality. However EM1 is not only for bokashi and technically is a fertilizer because the Effective Microorganisms are breaking down nutrients in rock, sand and organic material into a usable form for the plant….so it is fertilizing.
What they have here is a straight lactic acid bacteria culture. Not the actual proprietary EM-1. Which has many different bacteria and fungi. So it won't do anything for inorganic material. You need fungi for that. I'll give you that when they pour it on the plants soil it will break down material in the plants pot thus will fertilize. Spraying on the leaves does nothing as far as fertilizing. It could potentially out-compete any other harmful bacteria to keep the plant from getting a disease so more like a probiotic.
LAB is used for Bokashi EM1 is a product made by TaraGanex.. yes they can be interchangeable however 99% of people use labs not effective micro organisms. There’s also 2 Versions of AEM activated effective micro organisms you can make it from processing EM1 in AEM or a company that has no relations to Teraganx makes it as well. LAB can be applied directly to the soil or in the dilution rate. It is found naturally in healthy Ecosystems specially in Forest floors
