Yes you can! 1kg for 1L of EM1 and then 18L of water.

If Em1 is not available, you can produce by using rice water... it is very easy. before cooking rice, you collect the water you used to wash the rice. say, 1 cup. put in a container and cover it with newspaper and tie with a rope or rubber band. after 5-7 days, it has fermented. transfer it to a bigger container and then add 9 cups of fresh cow milk. cover with news paper and tie. keep again in a cool dark place for 5-7 days. the liquid is yellowish in color. separate the liquid from solid. after that, add 2-3 cups of molasses.

Hi Vangie. Ag emas ay hindi fertilizer. pwede naman idilig pero siguro once every 2 weeks lang just to reintroduce the good bacteria sa soil. mas maganda gamitin mo ang emas para makagawa ng fish emulsion mo.

Hi Mary, weather.... may mga maiinit at malalamig kasi na lugar...nakakapekto sa fermentation period.

@@ppac300 emi and molasses is used to grow more good bacteria for the red palm weevils to grow.. palm weevils are also called as coconut worms... message me for further clarification

Sir nag order ako em1 kaso nung napanood ko ito may partner pala para ma activate yung bacteria... Maging effective pa kaya kung ipa spray ko sa palayan ko without yung partner nya...

I have done em1 but i store it since 5 days but still bubbling and creating gas what shall i do
sometimes, colder areas take longer to finish fermentation..it is ok.
It may even take 2 weeks, do not worry.
I have fermentated mine its 5 days now but it does not create gas
it could be many other things:
1. Is it cold in your place? if so, it will take longer up o 2 weeks.
2. Check for leak...it should air tight.
3. Did you use water from the tap? Does it have chlorine? is so, it is a failure.

Lactic Acid Bacteria: Bifidobacterium animalis, B. bifidum, B. longum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, L. casei, L. delbrueckii subsp bulgaricus, L. fermentum, L. plantarum, Lactococcus lactis subsp lactis, Streptococcus thermophilus
Yeast and other: Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Bacillus subtilis
Phototrophic Bacteria: Rhodopseudomonas palustris and R. sphaeroides
This is EM1 - all of them eat sugar.

yes, pwede ka din gumawa ng sarili mo... magtabi ka ng isang basong tubig ng pinaghugasan mo ng bigas...(iyong una). takpan mo ng diyaryo, talian, ilagay sa malamig at madilim na lugar (cabinet).. after 5 days, ilabas mo. ilagay sa mas malaking garapon, haluan mo ng 9 na basong fresh cow milk, kahit iyong nabibili sa grocery. takpan ulit at ilagay sa madilim na lugar. after 7 days, ihiwalay ang liquid at solid. iyong liquid ay ang iyong lactid acid bacteria at color yellowish. ang solid ay cheese., color white. haluan mo ng 1 cup molasses OR 1 cup of brown sugar ang liquid. mix GENTLY. pwede mo nang gamitin ang LAB na parang EM-1 after a few days. manamis-namis at maasim.. at magiging light brown
