Hey Jane! Thanks for this tutorial. I love this style of painting. Capturing the essence of something that our brains decyfer into reality is truly gripping. Im in the middle of painting this and think I could leave it alone and it would look great...and I chose to try the blue and burnt umber combo instead. Please, please continue to do more of these. Love all the hard work you put into making these lessons. Thank you so much!

I wish I could give you a huge hug right now. I hope that you are able to set aside a little bit of time for yourself, even if it's only 10 minutes here and there, and paint or doodle, or whatever else you need to do to put a smile on your face. I do remember you! And I'm so glad you stopped by to say hello. That makes ME smile! :) I hope you will more often. Please take care and always look for little ways to do something nice for yourself ♥♥♥♥

Anwiksha Roy, I'm so sorry to hear of your distress. I do understand what you are going thru. I lost my husband of 48 years to cancer and a list of things caused by chemo. He spent the last 90 days of his life in the hospital and I was with him every minute until my dear sweet man went to be with Jesus. I knew he was in a much better place and didn't have any pain, but it was rhe hardest thing I have ever known. I made it thru funeral prep and burial because it was still something I could do for him, but then I plunged head first into depression. I was not suicidal, only God knows, God is...why. I lost everything worth living for or so it seemed. I was sick myself, and the pain was the only reason I went to the hospital. I had surgery and now live on a regimen and take more medicine than is good for me. But I'm alive! I went for a while when I was purposeless and it was hard to look forward, to see any real reason to be here, but my daughter and family wouldn't give up on me and neither could I. The pain of his lose will always be with me but I laugh and cry... and I have in excess or 80 paintings (I need a market) so yes, if you have God's creative power in you, you must use it. It can be the fire, the impulse, the reason for you to go on. I can only think she would want this for you. I known my Frank would want me to be as productive as possible, not only in my art but also ln my life. Somewhere inside you, the ability and need to be creative is still there and wants out. Let it out! All my prayers and hopes...from one who knows.

Jane this is beautiful! I'm so sorry I keep missing you..I started to message you last week on Instagram but I know you don't get on there much.. My mind is just everywhere lately from outside stress. Long story short Im doing everything I can to be strong and healthy physically but keep getting knocked down mentally by everything around me. I guess I'm putting myself out here by admitting I'm depressed but depression is nothing to be ashamed of.. I tend to isolate myself without realizing I'm doing it. You are such a beautiful giving soul that has made a huge impact to so many people, I would have never known that I was an artist without you!! Merci beaucoup mon ami!
