My state has mandatory items that must be checked to pass inspection, to make it worst inspection stations can fail you for anything they deemed a safety issue, even if not required by the state. There's no set price for inspection stickers and stations can charge what they want for them which usually ranges $30-$50!

in Missouri, if you have just restored a car and have not yet titled and plated it, would you need to before the safety inspection?

Hi i got my car in PA, the dealership is doing this process for me, i live in NJ, after i get the certificate can I bring the car to any place to get inspection sticker like my local meineke that does state inspection or do i have to bring it to DMV? Thank you.

My car has the tpms light on, because the sensor is damaged. Do you think I would pass the state inspection if that’s the only problem on the vehicle?

What if you have a gas leak in the hood of your car, but no check engine light is on?
The guy did the plug in test and said I needed to run it and I did and came back after running it for about an hour and then he said I still needed to run it. I’m so confused. And not only that the dude was showing my friend instead of me the owner of the driver!
Can I pass with abs and brake light on?

I was told that all the tread on the tires have to be the same pattern to pass the break inspection in California is this true?
donna ramos I'm not positive but only inspection I've ever needed 20 yrs in Cali is emissions. No physical inspection.

Minnesota does not require safety and emissions inspections
Alexander Elliot neither does Florida
Neither does west virginia
Washington state is getting rid of emissions inspection January 1, 2020.
