@supercecilia Xenon: diamond, Regular: Gold. You could use diamond for regular ones, as it is a clear color, but most experts at TÜV in germany mention that the gold version is more efficient with old lights, reaching a "quadratischer Blinkerflüssigkeitskoeffizient" (quadratic blinker fluid coefficient) of QBL^2=0.95=95%, while using diamond on them only squeezes out 85%. Diamond costs around the same as gold. Some care, some do not. If you live in germany, ask the TÜV to do it for you. If you live anywhere else, do it yourself, as it could get costly if you ask a mechanic.

A semi automatic transmission is a manual but without the clutch which means you don't have a clutch which uses the same concept of a manual transmission but without a clutch.

True story, my first car was an automatic. I had watched Initial D a lot, and watched how they Heel-toed. When I got my second car, which was a manual, I tried to figure out how to heel toe myself. Took a few tries before I figured it out, and a couple weeks before I was able to accurately match the revs. These days I heel toe basically every braking downshift just out of pure instinct. Even took an older guy, who has done a lot of track days and amateur racing over the years for a drive in my car, and he said "wait you heel toe? Wow Im impressed".
When i first started driving, i didnt rev match that well when downshifting, but once i mastered that, heel toeing was an easy next step for me. Although I still sometimes miss the throttle

I really need to check my blinker fluid, haven't done it in a year and that clickin gets really annoying. Thanks for mentioning it!
@supercecilia yes. You get it at all gas stations. It's the yellow(gold) or white(diamond) liquid depending on the type of light you have.
@supercecilia Xenon: diamond, Regular: Gold.
Now I can pretend I know what my boyfriend is talking about when he talks to me about cars, thank you

Used to work in a parts store, the amount of people who look at you with a blank stare when you ask "is it a 4, 6, or 8 cylinder" has hurt my soul beyond repair. And yes, I have been asked "where can I find the blinker fluid?" before.

14:23 LSDs aren't limited to use in RWD cars. FWD cars use them all the time to combat torque steer and wet/slippery situations where power delivery is key. My Mazdaspeed 3 has an LSD in its transaxle for instance, and it may not be super common but I know other F-F cars use LSDs in their transaxles.
And this is the most comfortable I've been talking with shop/forums terms in a youtube comment section. Thanks, Donut!
Subaru has them too
My si has one as well
Integra has it
I appreciate that you use the word transaxle correctly. Lots of FWD Focus have LSD front diffs too.

I brought a BMW so I can spend less on blinker fluid. I'm saving hundreds every month.
actually BMWs are the cars that need blinker fluid the most
idk if you've noticed, but almost all BMW owners have run their cars out of blinker fluid, and at that point it's so fucked the blinkers don't even work anymore
remember to top that shit off!
@@Chimera6297 What are you talking about? It's well know BMWs are exempt from having to use a blinker. Just like it's well known if you buy a Jeep, you have to slowly take off parts of it until your driving nothing but an engine with wheels. I mean if you're driving a Jeep with your doors on, or if you are using your blinkers in a BMW, I'm not sure if they let you keep your license.
So glad I know my car terms now. Can't wait to get some LSD to improve my check engine light, then install a WOT on my RWD and make that BHP look really fresh
In Straya, the slang for bad gear shifting is called "roo juice". This is when you roll away in traffic or from a parking spot in the wrong gear or the revs are not matched. As a result, the car hops and lurches forwards like a Kangaroo going off at full speed.

The word “rural” kinda defines that because it’s affiliated with there being less people.
But Huston is less populated with around 75% of LA’s air quality. That’s terrible especially if you scaled it up to equal population.

Thanks for the information that we need to change blinker fluid. My mechanic took a couple of thousand dollars to do the change, I guess had to do some repairs since I left it so long. You learn something new every day.
BMW owners never have to change their blinker fluid because they never use their blinker anyways
Really, I always thought it was because the blinker fluid lines were pressurized and it could only be changed at your BMW dealership
Only cause BMW turn signals kinda suck :/

Heal toe is a drum term as well. It’s a double bass technique that I really need to learn
Yeah I've started doing it a bit recently, not too hard though
Nicee
Corona Virus: Just what you’d expect from a Subaru. The cars is great but their head gasket are crappy indeed.
Same, my first car was a manual and I immediately started learning how to heel toe. I can't downshift with heel toe, it feels so weird if I don't now
When i first started driving, i didnt rev match that well when downshifting, but once i mastered that, heel toeing was an easy next step for me. Although I still sometimes miss the throttle

You should talk about “sand bagging”, where the term came from and why it’s good/bad depending on who’s doing the sand bagging. Or some people in the south say “Let her eat” meaning let it run until it breaks.
