You said you hadn't felt inspired, and didnt make a video just for the sake of making a video. I admire that. I dont subscribe to many channels, but definitely am digging your personality and honesty. Keep up the good vibes!
Thank you so much!! I don't like forcing creativity.. i feel like it will just make me do more of the same we see on youtube! i appreciate you being here :)
Very nice and detailed instruction. I like to work in black and white when I'm learning something new like this weaving or when I'm laying out designs for fabric because I get distracted with colors - like choosing what to use. So the B&W instruction really works for me. Thank you!
I have loved macrame, but wanted to weave to create scenes and I have watched a lot of videos but yours is the best one out there and you don’t tell us we need all these expensive tools. I love how you showed everything so simply and I learned more from you so thank you
I've watched so many videos about weaving and this is the first one that is so clearly and amazingly well explained. Thanks a lot for the patience and dedication! Best regards :) !
Thank you for your super tutorial. So many weaving videos make it look like hard work and make me , a beginner, feel like it will takes ages before I will be able to make anything as beautiful as your wall hanging, It is so nice and encouraging to be shown simply and calmly , with clear instructions, how to create something gorgeous. I also loved your enthusiasm about the craft . Look forward to checking out your other videos. Thanks so much for sharing your time and skills .
Thank you for your calm clear and precise instructions.I would love to try to make a macra weave hanging , could you please tell me what yarns you are using . Are you using heavy weight yarns for some of this project? Thank you in anticipation .Stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🙏
I watched this ages ago and finally i’m getting around to actually doing this. Great video. Thank you so much. It’s just a shame I can’t like this video twice 🤗
Excellent! Thank you! I'm just starting to weave so your explanations were absolutely wonderful with how to as opposed to what NOT to do. Very positive and detailed approach and to the point. I love this! Thank you!
Luv how the colors are fused together everything is well put together, do you have your own online classes website for those who are beginners at weaving? Just a interested question.
my God !!!! I've been praying that i see a video like this and i found you!!!!! yesssss.. looove it excellent job , loooove it, thank you sooo much ...
You make this look so incredibly simple! Thanks so much for doing this tutorial. I have very recently purchased some looms and am so excited to get into this new type of loom weaving (for me). I did potholders as a child but not this. Can not wait to try these techniques.
THIS WAS SO HELPFUL!!!! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH YOU MADE ME WANNA DO THIS!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT LOVE YOUR VOICE AND THE MULTIPLE CAMERA ANGLES THANK YOU!!!!!!!
You've done a fabulous job👍Looks great. I'm thinking of beginning to learn to weave. I saw a video on tapestries and how they got started. Pretty cool. Again, nice job.
😭😭😭 thank you!!!! I’ve missed seeing your name pop up in the comments!! What’s your name? I can’t tell from your username. Haha. I wanna get to know you guys better 😊
My name is Leonor, my user name is just the first letter of my name and my family names. Do you know that in Spain we use both names of father and mother? I've started using this abbreviation because I didn't want people could know my gender...!
This is so AWESOME. Thank you for making such a fabulous video for this newbie! I was about to spend big money on a fancy weaving loom off of Etsy and would much rather alleviate the stress of such a high initial spend and make my own loom like you did! New follower right here, girl! :)
Hi Kell! Im new to weaving and was wondering how to connect the different yarns. I start a new color on the side of the left and i was wondering what i should do after Im done. Do i just tie little knots? of work them into the weft?
Thank you for this. I bought a mini loom to try out weaving and the instructions were not helpful. I think whoever was writing them gave up trying as eventually I read: "Get somebody to show you how to use this." (!) Your video is the best I've seen and is brilliant for an utter complete beginner like me.
Hi!! It's called roving - here's a link to one you can get on amazon: amzn.to/2LLIX2i I got mine from Michael's if you wanted to go to a local store :D
I'm so glad to be back making videos for you guys! I hope you enjoy this one :) Let me know what you think!!

That's wonderful to know!! I honestly didn't think of B&W being easier to learn with these kinds of projects!! Glad it worked out :D
I have loved macrame, but wanted to weave to create scenes and I have watched a lot of videos but yours is the best one out there and you don’t tell us we need all these expensive tools. I love how you showed everything so simply and I learned more from you so thank you

This might be a silly question, but do you have to use a special type of thread to thread the loom?
You make this look so incredibly simple! Thanks so much for doing this tutorial. I have very recently purchased some looms and am so excited to get into this new type of loom weaving (for me). I did potholders as a child but not this. Can not wait to try these techniques.

Can you share how to make sponge?
I’m not sure what you’re referring to here. Can you explain what part you need help with?
Love love love this! May I ask how you were able to attach it to the wood afterwards?
I just took some yarn and kinda "sewed" it on the wood.
Came from the diy loom website, stayed for the weaving

Hi Kell! Im new to weaving and was wondering how to connect the different yarns. I start a new color on the side of the left and i was wondering what i should do after Im done. Do i just tie little knots? of work them into the weft?
Hi!! You should be able to work into the weft. I left tying the knots until I was done with the entire piece.
best video ever!!!!

Thank you for this. I bought a mini loom to try out weaving and the instructions were not helpful. Do you cut the yarn first before weaving?
Hi Jacinta! Yes, you should cut the yearn before weaving it through. You can cut a few arms length :) Hope this helps!!
I wanted to see how you added the branch
So sorry ! i basically sewed it on with the yarn!
Where did you get the top piece that looks like wood?
etsy! I believe it's driftwood
Beautiful
Thank you !
May i know, the type of each yarn?
the black white and gray is just regular yarn you can get from the craft store (standard kind), the white fluffy yarn is called roving.
