You are correct. Single stage white/ metallic silver clear cladding. Black single stage/metallic grey clear cladding.
Hood was deffo respray. I think it's common for the hood paint to fade and I've seen a lot of clearcoats peel on 80s.
Blaupunkt is what you wanted in your Plymouth Horizon in the 1980’s.
Love the review!
Looks good, just like mine. I think this one will sell for 19500 or less, the lexus logo from the rear gate is no longer available and just like the land cruiser one it cracks and eventually falls apart. the after market is not as good of a choice. the left passenger headlight is a bit dirty inside, probably broken housing and water and dirt got in it. Paint is 1 stage like the land cruiser, the grey is the thundercloud color. over all it is a good one to get. The pictures from the Reno place have toyota wheel hub covers. also the lexus ones are hard to get. don't really care for the visor.
I was the highest bidder on an amazing 1995 imported flexdream landcruiser on cars and bids.
1995 Toyota Land Cruiser
JDM 80-Series With FlexDream FJ60 Body Kit, 4WD, Triple Locking Differentials, U.S. Title
It still didnt hit reserve though. They emailed me asking if I can raise the bid from 36k. I am thinking if I raise to 40k they will sell it to me. I was reading around and read that it might be a huge deal to register, insure, and pass emissions for this vehicle in southern california. Would you be able to look at it for me and give me some advice on whether or not this would be a huge pain to get legal?
I’d love to request a video if that’s possible. Do you have an email I can send more details to please?
Yes, thelandcruiserproject at gmail
This will go around or between 20k-24k
Wow, this one underperformed.
I could be wrong now a days LC are hot could go up
Predicted Final Price: Sold for $23,000
Actual Final Price: Sold for $16,250
Listed on CL afterward for $21k (or $18k?) denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/denver-1996-lexus-lx-450-center-lock-80/7688364862.html
This is super suspect. Couldn't be a flip as after taxes site fees and shipping, the buyer was likely in the 19-20K range. Wonder if this turned to be a deathtrap and they are just trying to break even on this deadbeat.
Now u just making stuff up! What is with this title 🤣
I was referring to the rear paint on the body.
Propose a title and I'll use it!
