The old two tone paint schemes were pretty cool! Had need of extinguishers more than once. Modern trucks are better, but you're not playing with modern trucks :-)

The K-100 paint job looks pretty darned sharp. Love the lightning bolts, they just scream 1970's.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Yeah, those cabover Centennials with the red,black,white & gold paint schemes were awesome! Your KW is looking quite amazing, even with Rustoleum paint. A bit at a time & do as much prep work as possible. Blue is my favorite color. The rivets & bolts require much time. I’ve known guys to paint outside & the job turns out so well. It’s good to know someone that will do a good job & not take you to the cleaners! Sarge is looking better, too! Thanks for including us in the ending. That was one groovy day! Blessings my friend. 🥰🤩✌️

I can not believe you painted that Truck with Rustoleum rattle cans ! LOL but hats off to ya, you would make my ole Trucker Dad proud !! It looks great !
Thank you sir, the metal blue and green colors are mixed but still cans. Rustoleum is the the white and blue on frame as always. Now the big sprayers gotta be used for roof and back. Sigh 😬

Another great video!! You do such good work explaining, what your doing, and how. That Kenworth really looks nice. I have driven a few of those from 1977, up to 1985. Personally I wasn't impressed with them, but i made a good living with them.

looking good! love the colors,as a former fire extinguisher tech i would say toss that old fire extinguisher dane, i see its still in the green but that extinguisher is from the 70s and the gauge may be stuck and not actually have pressure! also all the rust is not good and looks too be on the weld areas of the neck and base, rust on a pressure vessle is a no go. keep in mind to extinguishers should be replaced or serviced ever 12 years from date of manufacture even when the gauge is in the green, the year made can be found stamped on the bottom or in your case it will be around the base also on that amerex.

Sorry for the delay I can’t find the specs label. Both colors were Hyundi colors. I think blue ice and sage green.
