Jon Anderson's program of engaging young kids in his/Yes's music is absolutely brilliant.
That girl/woman is phenomenal with vocals. Love to Jon Anderson forever. From 1973 till now this guy for me is the best vocalist without a close 2nd on the planet.
Sorry but I really, really, really missed Robert Plant cause this sounded, well, wrong.
@@michaelwirth6843 Different can be good, not necessarily wrong. It’s possible to be so used to the original that hearing someone else do it is jarring, but she did sound great.
So who was better before? I still like early stuff like Time and Word.

The transition from Kashmir to Don't Kill the Whale (One of Yes' most underrates songs off of on their most underrated albums) was simply amazing and Jon still killing the vocals!
He's nearly 80 and singing like always. What a guy!!
I love that Jon Anderson performs with the Paul Green kids. He's the one who is truly keeping the Yes flame alive. Even more amazing that he still sounds great at age 77

I was at this concert back in March and yes these kids are phenomenal and Jon just loves them. He's so happy and excited watching them and they think the world of him you can just see it.

Vi a Jon en Mar del Plata, 2013 creo...tocando él solito las viejas melodías de mi amada banda Yes y de sus trabajos solistas con Vangelis (RIP). Allí contó que en 2004 habúa estado muy mal de salud, y hasta se atrevió a hacer bromas al respecto de cuando había estado internado.
Me alegra que ahora siga vital, energético, y tocando con tantos jóvenes alrededor!! El legado de Yes es eterno sin dudas!!

Jon still has one of the best voices in all music. The Band Geeks tour of 2024 proves his voice and composing talents.
I stopped going to Rosfest when it moved to Florida but I saw Jon and the rock school do this in 2021 at the Jersey Shore.

Agreed. It takes some certainty in one’s ability to hop on stage and whip out Kashmir, especially with Jon Anderson! Covering a song sung by one of rock’s greatest vocalists, WITH one of rock’s greatest vocalists. Seems perfectly at ease doing it also. I was looking for a name so I could buy some of her music…had no clue this was a school. Impressive.
Just listening I feel jon is ofcourse wonderful the girl is more yelling than singing.
