As a 70 odd year old I felt quite emotional not only hearing Jon sounding fabulous but these kids playing and clearly loving the music that was such a part of my teenage life. Thank you all
Too bad there aren't more younger fans who aren't musicians discovering this music. Based on the comments and what I've seen in concert Yes fans are still mostly well...not younger people let's put it that way. ;)
Even capturing Chris' backing vocals to a great degree was a treat. They did a good job. Didn't care for the sax or the yelling girl at the end though.
That was the most joyous thing I have watched in years! Fantastic to see Jon sharing the stage with these amazing youngsters and "giving" these songs to them. Just beautiful.
I see lots of old iconic singers who can’t do it anymore, most recently Lou Gramm and Jon Bon Jovi. Jon Anderson is quite remarkable. He looks all of his 78 years but sounds close to his younger self. Love it.
Magical!! Got goose bumps the 1st time I heard this song in the early 1970s, and still do to this day. Wonderful to see a generation of young kids basking of this brilliant music.
WOW that moved me to tears seeing those youngsters and Jon loving the music……….. the energy was simply incredible………… this is why everyone should have the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument, particularly, when they are young! Jon, you are an amazing inspiration!
He still has it. And thanks for sharing with this generation. This music lasts multi generations...I loved them since 1972 and still do...I started playing a 23 string guitar after "And you and I" thanks for the inspiration Steve Howe. Love YES...thank you for your magnificent talent ❤
55 years, to the month, when Yes first performed in public ... we have this ... truly a tribute to the band and all who sailed in her! Congratulations to the young people who play in this, for they surely recognise the greatness of that band. A fantastic performance from Jon of Darwen and all involved.
Outstanding. The vocalist at the end reminded me of the vocals at the end of Great Gig In the Sky. Bummed there was only a tiny glimpse of the bass player, who was also spot on and outstanding.
The Kids are Kicking ASS!!! Incredible they have worked so hard to learn this...as it is an extremely difficult jam to learn...love the look on Jon Andersons face- he LOVES it... makes me think Yes's music may last for hundreds of years if todays generation loves it like that, maybe the next and the next generation will too..because it is just that magical and majestic...Tchaikovsky, Mozart and Debussy would concur..
I still have hope for young people or musicians if they recognize an off beat rhythm. Centuries from now people will recognize what "YES" really meant.
These young musicians are spectacular. Kudos to their instructor Paul Green, the originator of the School of Rock and to Jon Anderson for being an inspiration to these musicians. Well done all.
YES/Jon Anderson. The voice is still there, yet they have fallen out again......So amazed to see a whole generation get into this stuff.....Was a massive fan in the early days, the YES album is classic....Thanks Jon, enjoying these collaborations
I was very happy to see John Wetton backed by The School Of Rock young players at BB King's before it closed. IF you closed your eyes, you'd swear it was King Crimson and U.K. backing him...
At 53 I sing in my Church praise team band and grew up listening to Jon in Yes, I hold him responsible for keeping a long lasting note that when I'm trying hard, will soar like an eagle. Thanks Brother!
He always had a very distinct amazing voice! Loved Yes from the beginning and during that period was so happy to have had such wonderful talent around in abundance❤❤
I remember when this record came into our house in 1971. Back then it drove me to tears. And after all that time, Jon still makes me cry. I wish he could live on for ever. But it's only a wish, he's looking quite old now.
So much joyous energy!! Jon is such a wonderful presence. Wouldn't be surprised if he sings at his own funeral! And he'd probably sound as great as ever.
Thanks for the Video! Jon Was - is always the voice of Yes period stop. He still sounds great. The band does a great job of nailing the song and supporting to spots he can’t quite reach at his very senior age!
Seeing these kids alongside this genius (78? really? don't miss a single high tone note - note, there is no autotune!) makes me boost some hope in mankind again!
I love Jon . I love these kids . I just wish the camera man would of focused more on the bass player . He sounded awesome !!! Keep up the fantastic work ♥️
I’m so glad I got to see that in the early days. 1972 , Philadelphia Spectrum, opening groups were I think JoJo Gun and the James Gang , with Joe Walsh on lead guitar and vocals.
Thank you Jon, Paul and ALL the kids! It was wonderful having you play for us at RoSfest in Sarasota, Florida! Let's do it again soon - or with Richie and The Band Geeks. Love from the team at The World Prog Project! - Marc
Just amazing the voice on this guy! Sounds great, as good as 50 years ago. One thing I did notice, it takes a whole lot of musicians to duplicate the sound that Yes made in concert with only 4 musicians and a singer/sometimes rhythm guitarist.
Allahu Akbar Jon, Our CREATOR has blessed you our brother. These praformances bring joyful memories of me youth and touch a part of our being Thank you.
YES. 51 years ago 1st US show...Gaelic Park. ..opened for Mountain. Yes were so good...they demanded encore. Show ran late and Mountain had to cut set short. Amazing.
This is the best thing Jon Anderson has ever done.
Not the performance, the legacy.
Yet another wonderful gift from this great human.
Thank you.
It makes me ridiculously happy to see another generation of young people playing and enjoying this wonderful music.
Me too, man.
Man, me too!
It was a magical evening in a magical setting 💥💫🎶
I could only hope these young people will form a Prog rock band with a "Yes" type sound and talent. These kids are a GREAT band waiting to happen!😃
As a 70 odd year old I felt quite emotional not only hearing Jon sounding fabulous but these kids playing and clearly loving the music that was such a part of my teenage life. Thank you all
78 years old and still singing like this. Yes have never successfully replaced him These kids are awesome too!
What a shock 😳 a rock star who can still sing and sound amazing after 50+ years . Truly a one off . Bravo
He is way over 50. I think he may be times less. He is not an older man. He has become an Ancestor
just watched and thought exactly the same think ....I think he meant someone who's been singing 50 plus years 😊
I haven't smiled this much in a long time
My Gosh!! To see young people honoring this classic song from a legend brought tears to my eyes. I love you all!!
Too bad there aren't more younger fans who aren't musicians discovering this music. Based on the comments and what I've seen in concert Yes fans are still mostly well...not younger people let's put it that way. ;)
I can't believe what I just saw
Probably don't give a rat's butt about the music. They're being paid.
The Voice of YES. One of my favorite musicians ever, big inspiration ! his eyes is shining while he is on stage with this young musicians
Shout out to the unsung bass player playing the Late great Chris Squires bass part and holding All of this down!
Indeed. I noticed the amazing bassist here. They are all fantastic. What a wonderful thing to witness the younger generation running with the baton.
Even capturing Chris' backing vocals to a great degree was a treat. They did a good job. Didn't care for the sax or the yelling girl at the end though.
Was just thinking same thing! The bass sounds great.
That young woman in the black trouser suit is enjoying the hell out of the song!!
Love it.
Lou has had some health problems/ issues for some time.
So,if he's not killing it like before, I understand.
Bon Jovi , never been a fan .
What talented young musicians. So great to see...
アンダーソンおじさん元気で良かった!若者に囲まれて幸せそう
Jon Anderson still sounds Awesome
Magical!! Got goose bumps the 1st time I heard this song in the early 1970s, and still do to this day. Wonderful to see a generation of young kids basking of this brilliant music.
que bueno rodearse de gente joven para dejar un legado..
Been a YES fan since 1979. Never get tired of listening to them. Jon Anderson has the best voice of any other Yes vocalist
me too...showing our age!!!
WOW that moved me to tears seeing those youngsters and Jon loving the music……….. the energy was simply incredible………… this is why everyone should have the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument, particularly, when they are young! Jon, you are an amazing inspiration!
We love you Jon!!! you are the real 'Starship Trooper'
This man is a rare rock relic. How nostalgic to see him singing. May it continue like this for many, many years
That voice! All these years on.
A living legend!
The keystone of the band right here. Amazing.
He still has it. And thanks for sharing with this generation. This music lasts multi generations...I loved them since 1972 and still do...I started playing a 23 string guitar after "And you and I" thanks for the inspiration Steve Howe. Love YES...thank you for your magnificent talent ❤
I meant a 12 string guitar, sorry for the type o.
Wauw, wat een fantastisch concert. Jon Anderson in topvorm. Wat een stem en wat een band.
His voice is amazing for his age
Amazing for any age!

Too cool!!!!! Keep on keeping on. Kids need this, very nice.
Jon still sounds wonderful. I miss him not being with Yes.
Outstanding. The vocalist at the end reminded me of the vocals at the end of Great Gig In the Sky. Bummed there was only a tiny glimpse of the bass player, who was also spot on and outstanding.
❤
😢my invitation got lost in the mail? This is just beautiful.
Best musician, singer and human being of all times!!

I was at the Shepherds Bush gig it was fantastic. I first saw Jon and Yes when I was 13 I am now 63 he has still got a great voice. Rock on Jon.
I still have hope for young people or musicians if they recognize an off beat rhythm. Centuries from now people will recognize what "YES" really meant.
Love seeing the young ones into it -- they might have been pushed into listening -- but they know now ;)
One of my favorite songs. He still has a amazing voice.
These young musicians are spectacular. Kudos to their instructor Paul Green, the originator of the School of Rock and to Jon Anderson for being an inspiration to these musicians. Well done all.

Played that 8 track over and over in the 80s. Still kicking ass in 2023!!
Peace and Love
Incredible vocals! Jon is amazing! Wow!!
I wish the camera panned out more so I could see the bassist
He always had a very distinct amazing voice! Loved Yes from the beginning and during that period was so happy to have had such wonderful talent around in abundance❤❤

What a legend he is.
Yes. This.
His voice is the foundation of Yessound…! 👍👍
Chris used to also do the high parts with Jon. RIP Chris and Allan.
So much joyous energy!! Jon is such a wonderful presence. Wouldn't be surprised if he sings at his own funeral! And he'd probably sound as great as ever.

I saw Yes back in the seventies,3 times, sounds like Jon still has it!😊
Jon Anderson continuing to rock it and being an inspiring artist.
He has never sang with abusing the vocal cords . Just wow!!!!! Thank you !!
Absolutely my favourite singer songwriter and all round great guy. Just want you to keep going forever Jon you are amazing!
Jon's voice sounds as angelic as ever, and at his age, he needs no telepromter-he remembers all the lyrics.
Another one of the Bands that made my teen years special. Still turn their vinyl through a late 60's and early 70's Stereo system.
What a voice, after all these years. Sounds just like my dad's vinyls when I was a kid
What a guy! Great voice and enthusiasm. Still.
Jon still sounds great, and long may he do so!
Still got it!
Anderson still has one of the greatest bands!! These kids know real music!
I love Jon .

Fantastic everyone !!!!! Jon I'm so glad your training our youth for the next generation of music, what better than YES in there lives.
What a wurm. Chaotic brilliance. Good man Jon - lovely Altrincham soul.
Accrington.
It's all 'the North'. So in the ball park 🤗
I stumbled across tales from topographic oceans Album in 1974 .. just liked the art..... and Yes became my favourite band .... no one had their sound
How is this possible? 🤯 Voice hasn't changed...
Amazing he is still belting it out....right on Jon...good soul
Well done you people. It is so good to see the spirit of Yes forward.
Cast a pastel sky

Just love this incredible Person
How adorable are those girls. I love how all those young people are having so much fun with it.
Hermoso ver a Jon rodeado de músicos noveles. Gracias
Good to hear Jon again. I heard this before I got my driver's license. Still a lovely song.
I’m so glad I got to see that in the early days. 1972 , Philadelphia Spectrum, opening groups were I think JoJo Gun and the James Gang , with Joe Walsh on lead guitar and vocals.
Amazing voice, still. Justice is served.
Thank you Jon, Paul and ALL the kids! It was wonderful having you play for us at RoSfest in Sarasota, Florida! Let's do it again soon - or with Richie and The Band Geeks. Love from the team at The World Prog Project! - Marc

still waiting for youngsters to step up and write such masterful music as Jon and the rest of yes band members created so many years ago
Still in great voice!
Absolutely fantastic
