I went on my first solo trip to Seattle a few weeks ago and it was one of the best experiences despite being so anxious!! Traveling solo is definitely intimidating but its so liberating.
I've watched like 15-20 of the most watched Seattle Tourism videos (places to go, restaurants to eat at) and I gotta say this was the most well composed video I've seen. Also great to hear the recs from a local, who'd know stuff like Paseo was sold and Un Bien is by the original owner. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I'm really looking forward to my trip next week based on many of your recommendations!
I recommend watching the Try Guys eating their way through Pike Place Market; not only do they hit some of the best spots, but they also interact well with the small shop owners and employees while snaking through some of the more 'buried' shops in and near to the Market.
Down in the Pike Place area is SAM (the Seattle Art Museum), very worthwhile to visit. Also, down at the waterfront you can take a water taxi or a ferry; very inexpensive activity and you might get lucky and see orcas! Also, there's the Seattle Aquarium with all sorts of sea life, sea birds, and aquatic mammals (but no orcas). The Aquarium also features a walkway overlooking the Sound, where you very likely will see jellyfish, seals, and aquatic fowl in the wild. (Tip: If you want a flower bouquet at a discount, wait until 5:40pm for the fresh flowers in Pike Place Market to get marked down.) Meanwhile, explore the FIVE floors at Pike Place Market to see all the odd little shops and displays; it feels like a scavenger hunt! Or have breakfast or lunch at the Athenian inside the Market; you'll pass by a roped-off spot at the counter where Tom Hanks and Rob Reiner filmed a scene in "Sleepless in Seattle".
Awesome ass vid i traveled for worked in WA state back in 2017. Omg so much work i missed so many places. Going back in december with tbe fam. Definitely wrote these down!
I'm planning to go visit next year for my birthday 4/20... can't wait I've heard nothing but good things... especially the food scene... && Taurus ♉️ 🙃 are big foodies... &&& BTW you're gorgeous 😍 💕
Seattle is on my list of places to visit! I will save this for later, hopefully sooner then later lol…. I think I’m more interested in the hike trails!
I needed this! I just moved to Washington last week with my husband & son. We’re from California. Will definitely check these places out! Do you know any good places in Tacoma? :)
Thanks for the great tips. Yet some minor things that made me wonder: You are locals and you know that it's Pike Place Market. So how did it happen that the caption says "Pikes Place"? And shouldn't it be mentioned that the so called "first ever" Starbucks actually relocated from a smaller place around the corner?
kirkland is lovely, i used to live there and just walking around there was fun and doen to the beach where there is a park and a pretty view u can stroll off and everywhere u go there its pretty nice. not seattle though
If your a true Seattle resident, born and raised you do not refer the market as”Pikes place Market”., It is Pike Place Market. We do not refer to Capital Hill as “Cap Hill” 😮
Wonderful round up of things to do in Seattle. Thank you! One small note, when you order chef's choice at a Japanese restaurant, it is called omakase, pronounced o-ma-ka-se, with the vowels pronounced like in Spanish (not "see" for the last syllable). There a few newer omakase places that sell out within minutes of opening online reservations every month. I hope you are able to experience one or two of them next time you visit. 😀
I am going in November for my first time! Definitely going to check out some of these places!! Also where did you get your lashes? They are beautiful!!

How did you get around seattle? Did you use a car rental? What do you think is a good choice on transportation?

THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I can’t wait to see the city through your eyes!!!!!!
Seattle looks amazing
Perfect timing! We’re going to Seattle next week. Cannot wait!
not once did I ever hear someone say "cap hill" and I lived in capitol hill for 5 years
I feel relieved, I thought it was just because I don't actually live in the city. I've lived in South King County my whole life.
Yes, no one says that, says resident since 1962.
Nobody says Cap Hill

13 coins was always a spot I took visitors when I lived in Seattle.
Doesnt have alot of notable restaurants? We just had 3 in the top 20 in the US by Esquire
I’m surprised you didn’t include Columbia Center or one of the ferries for a good view of the space needle and city
As a Seattle Girl, you should know it is not Pike's Place. It is Pike Place.

Leave Pioneer Square by dark. Downtown has grown more seedy in recent years. I suggest you go with friends.
Cap Hill? Your are not from around here, I take it. Seattle people actually call it Capitol Hill, FYI.
Cap hill as in Capitol Hill? Or

She said it correctly, but whoever edited the video messed up the caption and added the "S".
