Hello!! I'm actually heading to the PPM today for a 5 day solo-trip, but I lived and worked there for a number of years.... eons ago. I haven't been there since the viaduct was taken out. Some things have definitely changed, some have not. I loved that you pointed out how special it is getting there early in the morning to watch the Market wake up. That's my favorite secret tip about the PPM. Also, the trivia regarding the "first" Starbucks (hard eye roll)...you wouldn't believe how many people visit the PPM just for that, even above the flying fish guys, and you're right about there being way better coffee even within the Market. I'm bringing my own pour-over kit since my hotel room has an electric kettle, and coffee isn't cheap. Mee Sum is my fave place for savory "pastries". RGB packs a punch!! Great tip with the Thompson. I've never been there before. With the sun setting in the west, the PPM is one of my all time fave places to watch a sunset in the PNW. Thank you!!
Thanks for the tip on the 1st Starbucks! I thought for sure they’d have something different. Seattle looks like such a fun spot and can’t wait to visit in person someday!
Y'all would love Seattle! And I second that you should checkout the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Capitol Hill. We used to live just down the street from it and would always take friends and family there when they would visit us. :)
I live downtown and love Pike Place. These are some great spots but also just a few of many! It has been a bit since I've stopped by, this video is inspiring me to hit up some of my favorites.
Oh wow! So excited to take an adventure with you and Kramer down the Pan-American highway! Seattle is my hometown too spent 40 years there! I’m gonna go over and sign up on your Patreon because you guys do a beautiful video! Woop ! Woop!
Hi Karin! I apologize I just now saw your comment here. I've been weeks behind on answering comments. Thanks so much for following along and supporting though. It means the world. ❤
super nice vid -thank you. Turkish Delight also had awesome lentil soup too, had it for lunch at least once a week for years when I was working down there. Three Girls Bakery is also excellent, as is Falafel King and Las Agaves. Pike Place Chowder is great, (the smoked salmon is the best in my opinion), but agree the lines are insane.
Man you guys missed so much! The donuts around the corner from flying fish. The Chinese is spot on and the only place to get pork stick and shu-mi, shrimp balls. BBQ pork humbow. The gyros the fresh apple cider across the street. Kelly’s Irish bar. Next time you visit. Try china town. Kau kau, tamarind tree, wonton soup place, garden bush. West Seattle Luna park (Elvis was there) spuds on alki, instead of saying best food in Seattle say your favorite foods
Spot on about Anchorhead Coffee---much better than Starbucks! Been going to Piroshsky Piroshsky since it first opened, the beef and onion piroshsky---Food Of The Gods! Lol! Turkish Delight----The lamb stew! And while Pike Place Chowder is very good----after all these years, just give me a bowl of Ivar's clam chowder, on Pier 54, lol!
It’s their video let em say what they want, you don’t like it keep it moving. Been watching yall for a few years now and yall play a big part in the places I try when i vacation where yall have been. Keep doing what you guys been doing! ❤
Came here to say the same thing. Truly like the content, but if you’re making a video about tasting fun food, it doesn’t serve a useful purpose to point out to the audience, “this is unhealthy” multiple times. It’s Mac & cheese and pastries. We know it’s not your regular diet. But if you’re not fully allowing yourself to enjoy it, your not giving your audience persmission to enjoy it either.
Too bad Seattle has become a war zone. There are literally armed guards by nearly every storefront. Who really cares how good the food here is when you’re getting stalked by some fentanyl crazed homeless guy? Oh also it’s insanely pricey.

I'm so glad you found the video helpful! The sunrise at PPM is truly magical, isn't it?
One of my favorite place on Earth. I lived in Seattle area and worked downtown for 13teen years. A great place to relax with a beer and watch people
Agreed!
Lol, I'm in this. I'm glad I look okay. 😂
Really? Where?!
Thanks for the tip on the 1st Starbucks! I thought for sure they’d have something different. Seattle looks like such a fun spot and can’t wait to visit in person someday!
If you’re a Starbucks fan definitely check out Starbucks Reserve Roastery, which is near by on Capitol Hill.
Y'all would love Seattle! And I second that you should checkout the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Capitol Hill. We used to live just down the street from it and would always take friends and family there when they would visit us. :)
From Seattle, in Mexico for five years. Love your content. Thanks for the memories!
Live in Seattle and love it so much but want to move to Mexico, perhaps next year.
Thanks for watching! Heading back to Mexico now!
Ha! I'm from Seattle, and have relocated to Mazatlán (6 years now). 60 years of overcast and drizzle finally got to me and I needed someplace sunny!
Mee Sum Bakery is my favorite. I love living in Seattle!
Mee Sum is so good! We absolutely loved living in Seattle, too, and miss it every day.
Curry Beef is the Best
Kouign Amann is actually a Breton word not French. It's a toughie to pronounce. BTW, this east coaster thinks Pike Place is indeed foodie paradise.
It really is! Highly recommend a stop there when you make it to the west coast. :)
I live downtown and love Pike Place. These are some great spots but also just a few of many! It has been a bit since I've stopped by, this video is inspiring me to hit up some of my favorites.
There are almost TOO many good foods down there! I'm thousands of miles from Pike Place right now and unfortunately I'm craving a bit of RGB. :)
As a local, I concur with most of the evaluations. BTW, love your dog's name. As a fellow Kramer myself, I'm sure we would get along famously.
Excellent tips! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

If you want a nice restaurant with great food - Maximillians. Fabulous French food, and great view of Elliot Bay.
I've never even heard of Maximillians! Thanks so much for the rec!

So many good spots down there! I've never been to Three Girls Bakery, but it sounds like it's worth the stop next time we're back in Seattle! :)
Needle in the cloud is amazing! Wondering where you take the shot😮
I forget actually I’m so sorry!
You picked the best hotel nearby… that roof deck (and bar, called the “Nest”) has the best views.
It really does!
Yummy! I miss the food around Pike Place.
So good!
Now you've made me want to go there even more!
You're going to love it! Can't wait for you to visit!
Aw, you’re making me homesick! 😀
Aw! I hope you enjoyed traveling back home virtually through the video! Seattle is such a special and beautiful place. ❤
@@chrisandsaraDefinitely! 💜
Anchorhead Coffee is THE SH*T...TOP NOTCH
Mee SUm Bakery is my all time favorite. We always stop here first. ALways perfect.
Absolutely DELICIOUS! So so good!

West Seattle Luna park (Elvis was there) spuds on alki, instead of saying best food in Seattle say your favorite foods
There are too many good foods in Seattle! 😍
@@chrisandsara yes spuds on Alki is the best beach spot in Seattle. Alki beach and fish and chips.
Good thing I had eaten before watching this..lol Thanks for all the good food tips.
😂 y'all know we're going to share all the good foods!
Its always strange to me that people do not think of the suffering caused to the Mother cows for cream dairy. Indifference
❤️

Sooo many good food places in Seattle!! :)
welcome back!
Thank you!!
I thought I was the only one to hear Turkish delight from the lion the witch and wordrobe
Great minds think alike :)
if you guys lived in seattle before and had aplets and cotlets you've had turkish delight!
❤
Overall enjoyable, but if you're going to make a video about food leave out the constant comments about "I can't believe how much we're eating".
Thanks J J 🫡
Agreed, also the constant "this is unhealthy" or "this is not a healthy day." But I did thoroughly enjoy the content.

BWhere to shop from in Seattle? Need to get affordable clothing, chocolates, electronics
That's a good question... there are lots of malls in the area, the closest one to Pike Place would be Westlake.
Yeah, tell him Mike definitely does make the best cheddar
👍
Wait a minute. You went to Pirosky Pirosky and didn't get a Pirosky?
FAIL
Get back there and try again.
😬🫢😭
Come for the food but hold your nose and step carefully.
why step carefully?
😅
ya one scoop of ice cream costs six bucks!!!!
😅💰
Ghost alley!
👻
Missing the pork buns.
they're so good!
Scary
