This one does not have a fuel shutoff solenoid. And I do check the carburetor, but if there’s nothing interesting to show then it doesn’t always make it into the video.
I wrote those were the first generation of overhead valve motors with the red metal shroud that's the best motor brigs ever made so he wouldn't have to have to put rings and seals in the home that's the owner that's where you can rebuild it for about $70 when average at the most sometimes 50 depending on the price of the ring hi your level tractor shop or I'm home right here
That won't have frontier so we can expect anything but to have real tires are just a tube situation that's what I would do I've done that a bunch never had a problem with cracks like that if you buy a new set of tires I don't know what they make those things out of but you'll have the same issue about 6 Months or less I'm just telling you from experience that's what I've seen there's a fellow on here called the tractor fellow and he can backup what I'm say Hey it's got a cup just like the one you're working on

I have the same machine and same issues. The fuel pump never works. I just put some starter fluid in to get it going.
I have the same machine. The hose inlet at tank gets blocked. Blow it out from pump end.
So how did you get the battery out? What is the model number of the battery, I need to buy a new battery and cannot find that anywhere.
The divider in front of the battery has to be loosened to get the battery out. Unfortunately I do not remember the model.

Try some penetrating fluid down the jacket of the cable. Look up a cable luber on Amazon. They’re pretty cheap and helpful for these situations.

Those cracks aren't open though so it won't cause any problem but they're too big
