Mine (named "Bee"), was a (used) AGS 2130, 13 HP (1997) and after many "surgeries" for years, died in May 2024... I am not materialist but I cried a lot because that tractor was a part of my teen age, very old model but I really liked it (rare thing for a girl). Many days later, I was looking for another new one (to turn the page) and I was confused for weeks with many sub-brands "(¬ . ¬)" Since MTD (today) owns almost all riding mowers (excluding JD) and have versatile parts, I decided to take a 2024 (March 13) Troybilt Super Bronco 50K XP, 24 HP, 50" deck, 3 blades (black, red and dark grey). Honestly, in despite of what people say with ratings, I really like it and it goes with my personality ; I named it "Black Widow"... I hope I will take care of it as I have done with "Bee" for the next 10-15 years.. "(^ . ^)"
@@azumi-osaki should be a fine tractor for mowing your yard. JD costs more but if I was buying a new one would gladly spend extra to get one. As a guy, my obsession is tractors!
@@azumi-osakiAwesome Azumi! I have a GT2523. I purchased the 2523 new in 2005 and it's still my primary mower. Very reliable and still running strong. It's heavy duty and a beast. All my neighbors have gone to zero turns , but I still have my old reliable, lol. It does have a 54 inch deck, so that helps even things out 😁.
Bought a used 2166. This video was very helpful. Thanks
Glad it helped
My first garden tractor was a 2160AGS I got it for Christmas in 2006 when I was 10 years old!
