More brands coming to the UK 🇬🇧, I picked up Laneige sleeping mask , 😄 have now discovered Bite Beauty is sold in Boots , amazing 🤩 so will be placing my order and taking bite off my holiday list 😱 . Well that’s if we every fly to Florida next year !! Still not safe and too many restrictions and quarantine nightmare stories , can’t believe it will be 2022 next year and we are still in the unknown trepidation territory 😂 . 🤗❤️
So I just read that the US is lifting restrictions against the UK (we had restrictions????) in November so that Florida trip might be closer than we'd think for you. That being said, just because we CAN travel, should we? I'm not even meaning for our health but also for the unknown. Will something pop up and countries close while we're traveling? Will some new restriction go into place. It feels so unstable...which is likely why my husband reports that a flight from California to London, right now, is $199. He found that thrilling. I found that a warning!

In two weeks? No wonder places have taken to saying, "As of right now...." And I think THAT is what is keeping so many of us from traveling. I don't know if our fears are unfounded, etc. but I can't, for instance, go to Scotland for a quick visit to my father-in-law and then have this slim but possible chance that I'd have to stay at a government hotel for two weeks AWAY from my children! I can't take the chance. So it's definitely having an effect and it's such a shame. What a world right now! Wow.

I have to say, Amanda, at first I thought it was just what I DIDN'T need. But i was quite surprised how well it worked AND how well it worked on LIPS too. So many of these multi purpose products feel like an afterthought on lips. This actually feels LIKE a lip only product. And it's SO creamy on cheeks too!

Hello Terri!!! I believe that Bobbi Brown herself suggests wearing the miracle balm as a highlight or added bit of color on top of the WTF. My only issue with that is that it can get very heavy on the face. When I have watched Bobbi Brown do it, she applies the WTF very lightly first, almost like a gentle bit of moisturizer and then there’s “room” for the balm on top. If not, it’s going to weigh you down, if that makes any sense.

I was wondering - do you find the MB stays sticky all day? I wore mine for the first time today, and it was a little itchy and tacky all day. I didn’t use that much…?
Hello Kathy! Thank you so very much for your kind words. I very much appreciate it. Yes. Unfortunately you have hit upon the one aspect of the miracle balm that prevents me from buying more of them. It definitely stays tacky almost like a lip balm would on the lips. The fact that she has named it a balm is probably more correct than we realize. I also am not a huge fan of the eucalyptus scent. It is a very innovative, pretty product but, yes, it does remain a bit sticky.
Have you ever tried anything from byredo? They have similar lip, eye, cheek sticks and I’m dying to try one. Jones road doesn’t speak to me, not sure why.

I know the house and love their fragrances and I've been eyeing the makeup ever since their first release but I haven't taken the plunge and I realize I need to! Hello Sara! I actually like the Tawny Nude shade for deeper skin tones. It’s not going to be bold. But I think it’ll look like a pretty, natural little flush. Kind of an every day shade just to bring a bit of pep to the face!!! 💕
Great question. Because those are very emollient, it’s nice to have a bit of a matte sunscreen underneath. Either the new Tatcha sunscreen but that is pricey or the wander beauty sunscreen which is kind of a dupe for the Tatcha. They both make kind of a nice matte primer and give very good sun protection.
I ordered the Chocolate Mocha and interested to see how it appears on me. On Bobbi’s live, she said it appears more brown on her but on the deeper skin model, it appeared more rose…

The Chocolate Mocha shade does have a slight rose undertone but because it’s more brown, looks more like a bronzer than blush on my skin tone. I may check out one of the brighter shades for days when I want more pop. Also, I think I like it more for my cheeks than lips. I’m not sure if this is because of the consistency or the shape of the stick. Thinking about getting the new Victoria Beckham Posh lipstick in Jump. I love her lipsticks and the Jump shade looked great on you. BTW, I did order the gloss and can’t wait for it to arrive…

You’re certainly correct that the size of the stick is almost more suitable to a lip brush than direct lip application. Whereas the Posh lipstick is perfectly sized. The gloss is very interesting. I really wanted to like this product, the Miracle Balm. I contacted the company for color advice. I was sent Au Naturel which has no color. And I’m a lady OF color, fair skinned sounds like I need a 'little' color. I even sent in pics to be better matched. Twice I was mismatched. And now I’m feeling like I have to purchase another Balm such as Bronze or Dusty Rose or whatever and now there’s the cheek sticks? Very confusing and just I feel inundated with products and @ $38 a pop, what do i do now? Not a happy camper!😩

I will definitely be making a purchase. Do you think the tawny lip and cheek would be visible on deeper skin tones?
Hello Sara! I actually like the Tawny Nude shade for deeper skin tones. It’s not going to be bold. But I think it’ll look like a pretty, natural little flush. Kind of an every day shade just to bring a bit of pep to the face!!! 💕

What’s the best type of sunscreen to wear under the WTF foundation and the balm colors?
Great question. Because those are very emollient, it’s nice to have a bit of a matte sunscreen underneath. Either the new Tatcha sunscreen but that is pricey or the wander beauty sunscreen which is kind of a dupe for the Tatcha. They both make kind of a nice matte primer and give very good sun protection.
I ordered the Chocolate Mocha and interested to see how it appears on me. On Bobbi’s live, she said it appears more brown on her but on the deeper skin model, it appeared more rose…

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Hi Rebecca, I just received the lip & cheek stick and it’s nice.. definitely on the sheer side with some glow. The Chocolate Mocha shade does have a slight rose undertone but because it’s more brown, looks more like a bronzer than blush on my skin tone. I may check out one of the brighter shades for days when I want more pop. Also, I think I like it more for my cheeks than lips. I’m not sure if this is because of the consistency or the shape of the stick. Thinking about getting the new Victoria Beckham Posh lipstick in Jump. I love her lipsticks and the Jump shade looked great on you. BTW, I did order the gloss and can’t wait for it to arrive…
@@adriennej859 Hello Adrienne!! Do the blushes at least work for every day pretty???? You’re certainly correct that the size of the stick is almost more suitable to a lip brush than direct lip application. Whereas the Posh lipstick is perfectly sized. The gloss is very interesting. I’m very very curious to hear your thoughts.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yeah, the blush will be great for everyday! I usually like more of a bronzer look than a lot of bright color on my cheeks, so for that reason I think it’ll be perfect. I agree with you on maybe more suited for lip brush application. Thanks so much for sharing… you do a fantastic job posting new releases so quickly! And showing the colors and swatches outside when you’re able is also super helpful!!

I really wanted to like this product, the Miracle Balm. I contacted the company for color advice. I was sent Au Naturel which has no color. And I’m a lady OF color, fair skinned sounds like I need a 'little' color. I even sent in pics to be better matched. Twice I was mismatched. And now I’m feeling like I have to purchase another Balm such as Bronze or Dusty Rose or whatever and now there’s the cheek sticks? Very confusing and just I feel inundated with products and @ $38 a pop, what do i do now? Not a happy camper!😩
Yvonne! Well I certainly do not blame you. I would not be a happy camper either. Has customer service offered anything? Because your story is worth sharing with them. You are a great customer. You WANT to enjoy your products. They’re not making it easy and, as you note, so much money spent already. I can feel the disappointment on your behalf.

Veronica, you are genuinely a joy to have here. Am always so happy to “see” you! Regarding Jones Road-Can I confess? At first, I was like, ach, I do reviews, it’s Bobbi Brown. But it didn’t speak to me and I decluttered most of my original haul. It’s grown on me over the year (1.5 years??) but still has room before it becomes huge in my heart- if ever. Plus they’ve never replied to emails I’ve sent requesting an affiliate code so Grrrrr. I appreciate the aesthetic but, I do agree with you, it’s not, like, ME. I’m more of the duochrome to Bobbi’s matte. Haha.
