I've never tried the brand but putting that aside I have to point out something: your very authentic review. I really like your videos because they're very chill and 'normal'. I don't like the exaggerated reviews and constant 'OMGs' in other channels. Of course everyone has a style, but I really love this peaceful, calm and happy vibe of your channel. Thanks for being you I guess!
I was kind of unimpressed by each product (except the shadow) until I saw the final look and honestly you look so so good. Like cool girl model off duty. Like the whole look together was so good.
I agree. ♡ Bobbie Brown is one smart woman. Ahead of her time, in my opinion. This look seems effortless to achieve but it really does take just the right type of product!
Try the foundation without the Hippie Stick. Break seal in the miracle balm to get the color pay off. also don't put the miracle balm under the foundation. I wear it over foundation as a blush. it works much better for me that way. I have dry, mature skin. absolutely love this brand.
Yes! I always put the miracle balm on *after* foundation. A little goes a long way. I am seeing reviewers use it wrong and put on way too much. Everyone that tries Jones Road for the first time, I think should check out Bobbi's tutorials on how to use the products. They are so helpful.
As soon as I saw her try the hippie stick first on her face .....Oh no. I am 57 and love the product. I either wear miracle balm all on its own or I apply over the WTF just as a slight color. Break that seal - this stuff needs to be warmed on the fingers. This is the first makeup that at the end of the day I feel just as moisturized as when I put it on. I think the younger ladies will come to love a product like this as they age. I cannot imagine using this they way I do today back in my twenties. Just didnt feel I needed all that moisture. Today - wow need it all !
I'm 39 years old, soon will be 40, and I absolutely love JR WTF and the miracle balms! Understated elegance that wears like a dream on my fairly dry to normal skin. I like the feel of it as I regularly use an occlusive layer on my skin at night to retain moisture. I think these products make me look so pretty, feel so confident and I get compliments all the time. The product won't stay sticky long. It will soak in and make your skin so soft afterward.
I actually love the foundation, I love using it with the Milk Hydro grip. I personally use my hands to apply. I always set the foundation with my CT pressed powder. It’s great for light makeup days. The makeup lasts well but I do not recommend using it on top of the hippie stick, it’s makes it hard to dry down
In her TT, Bobbi said to put nothing under the WTF. So that's probably why you're sticky lol. I knew you would be respectful and professional. Bobbi Brown is the mother of modern makeup. And I think a lot of the TT clout chasers do not appreciate her legendary status. xx
Oh please 🤣 bobbi brown is paying these people for views. They all have been getting exposed in last week. Her brand is going hard with marketing. They are all fake reviews & they don’t disclose that it’s an ad. Also, what u mean respectful? If you’re feelings are hurt because someone gave these a bad review I suggest therapy and time off social media. Getting feelings hurt over inanimate objects is not normal

I have been LOVING Jones Road Beauty. I have tried their Miracle Balm (the dusty rose color is perfect as blush for me), eyeshadows, face sticks, eyeliner and lip gloss. I will never go without the Miracle Balm again. It is just the best! I have dry skin and I love a natural look. It's perfect. I have the foundation on the way. P.S. My skin doesn't feel sticky with these products. I put a little miracle balm on *after* foundation. The trick is to not apply a ton of it. A little goes a long way.
This brand is giving me such an old school vibes! Not in a bad way, they just have formulas and that type of products that use to be more trendy. Also its main audience might more on the mature side, when you look at the product line and how they look on the skin ?? Anyway, love your videos Jamie, keep’em going ❤️ Love from Finland!
I was literally thinking the same! I don’t think it’s bad either. In fact all the makeup on Jamie looks like how they used to do makeup for tv shows in the late 2000s/2010s if that makes sense. Like barely there cool girl makeup but definitely makeup, in the way they used to do makeup for TV. I definitely see the Bobbi Brown personality shining through these.
I actually am obsessed with the eyeliners! It’s so hard to find a black that is not pure black and I don’t have to smoke these out at all they basically apply like a smoky eye without the smudging. Perfect everyday eyeliner!
This is such a great thorough review. The thing about Jones Road is a lot of reviewers say it’s not for them but I end up thinking, “wow your skin looks amazing though” which may be the goal. I thought the balm blush looked awesome on you. So natural and subtle. 👏
I just love how you review products. Just the facts. No exaggeration. Just giving us your thoughts. LOVE THAT! On another note, please don’t be afraid of potted products. In most cases, these products are thoroughly tested, and have a preservation system that keeps them from going bad. The only time you should be concerned is if they are a “clean” or “natural” brand that says they don’t use preservatives.
That blush gave such a beautiful glow to your skin and the overall result is lovely 💜 I do agree with you that the foundation is just a bit too sheer, I would expect a bit more even from a sheer finish foundation
Thanks for your review! As others mentioned, try wearing the foundation on its own without any primer and apply with your fingers to melt the product into your skin. Break the seal on the miracle balm and swirl around to activate the color and try putting on top of your foundation as a blush/highlight. You may not have thought so, but the final look was great!
Thanks for your honest review! I understand you didn't like the feel of the foundation but for what is worth your skin looks AMAZING in this video, way better than with other stuff I've seen you trying, so I would keep playing with it, maybe without the balms underneath.
I have three of the miracle balms (rose, bronze and magic hour). Magic hour is actually my least favorite -but I use the bronze daily. Cannot recommend enough. I put it under my powder bronzers and will tap a little on top after I’m done makeup. Never thought I would use the whole tub but here I am using it all up!
Thank you for reviewing this brand! I have the miracle balm and just don’t know what to do with it. Please keep us updated as you continue to try it out! 😍
I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to really press your finger into the middle of the miracle balm on the first use. Like, almost mess it up haha. There’s videos of it on their Instagram. Maybe it’ll help activate the pigment? Who knows. Might be worth trying again!

I just bought & wore the shade porcelain yesterday. I put a superlight moisturizer on, then just a small amount of WTF. I have more mature sun-damaged skin than Jamie does but it just gave me an all-over glow for the day. I put small amount on my face so had a minimal amount of tackiness. I really like it and I think each time I wear it I will add something to it. Forgot to say that I have super dry skin. I don't think it's for everyone but I pretty much love it. Just remember you aren't wearing a full-coveraged foundation. Enjoy 😍
I’m loving the WTF (what the foundation) but not with 2 moisturizers underneath it. Try using WTF without any thing underneath after all WTF is a tinted balm. I use the Miracle Balm as a blush or bronzer (try different shade). Your skin looks amazing I love the natural makeup on you. Looking forward to your next video!😊
As someone who have oily skin but using face oil as moisturizer is the best way for me to control the oil on my face, I believe my skin would love jones road. Kinda jealous to you guys who live in the country where you can easily buy Jones Road products. I use bobbi brown since 2011 like for all of my make up, and really wish to move on to Jones road asap. Seeing the result in the vid, I want those even more now.
YASS, I've been waiting for your review on this brand, esp on the foundation....which I ordered a week ago and waiting for it to arrive. Very excited! Honestly, now that i see the foundation, it reminds me of Iris&Romeo's Best Skin Days Foundation, which I think more people should talk about. Good coverage but feels like a moisturizer!
Love your content. You always keep it real. BTW your nail polish always gives me life , the colors are super fun. You should include the polish names for those of us that love your nails 💅🏻😊
I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t care about the brand? Hahah the products seem too sheer even for someone who likes that no makeup makeup look.
Back when I worked for Bobbi Brown (right after she left estee lauder) we had a product called the tinted moisture balm. The texture was to DIE for. It literally looked like her hero moisturizer cream but with the most luscious tint. I have my eye on this brand for sure!!
I will never forgive EL for not making the skincare moisture balm without the tint anymore, the cream doesn’t even come close to how hydrating that was and that was her favourite product!
@@Mamado88 I remember my customers being so so sad about it. The fact that they also discontinued a ton of her popular pot rouge colors right before cream blush came back is just a travesty. Happy to see her backing a new brand
Yay! Finally got to see your review! I love Jones Road products personally ( I got just a sec, sparkle wash, face pencil, eyeshadow, miracle balm, and the gloss), the best way for me to apply sparkle wash is to swipe one swipe across the lid and blend it out with my finger, and it gives a beautiful wash of glitters, layering with just a sec wouldn’t work as well for me, maybe you can try doing it next time :)
Very heroic to wear the sticky texture for so many hours, I would have made a beeline for the sink right away 😃 and can you imagine wearing glasses on top of it sliding all over?
I've been wanting to try this brand, my concealer especially gets so cakey but this would absolutely go in the other direction for me 😬 Thank you!! Also forever chasing that old formula Kosas Globe, why did they do us all so dirty 😭
Hello, I think that you look beautiful with jones Road. Very natural. You have beautiful skin. People wear makeup to coverup their imperfections. I focus more on skincare, that way I don’t have to use pounds of makeup. You look great 👍🏼 ❤🙋🏻♀️
Me too I'm really over spending a ton of money to have to mix 2 $50 foundations to get the one to look good. Too much work and too much money, things are getting out of hand with a new release everyday it seems!! Then I see people putting a bunch of powder over a radiant foundation on 30 year old skin! It's really insane some of the things I see in videos! I know it's to each their own, but not every influencer is promoting transparency with products or technique. Bobbi Brown is the mother of makeup and this new line proves why...very natural, very you but enhanced! I hope the days of full coverage, spackle on matte foundation are over! Back to basics let's get back to enhancing our beauty not covering it up!
It’s giving movie makeup. I’ve been want to try this brand and I love how it looks on your skin but I have oily skin and I’ll take your word on this brand. I want the shadow tho
Love these try on’s, was wondering at the end why you were saying the blush was so light? Then remembered (for the 1000000 time today) that I’m wearing literal rose tinted glasses. 🤦🏼♀️ I do this all time when I wear these glasses for light sensitivity, but somehow never remember
Thank God for that dark brown eyeshadow… The only thing I think I would purchase! Actually I’m excited about that because I like to do my eyeliner with eyeshadow and I’ve only found one eyeshadow that works and it’s in some weird kit I got so, I will be getting this dark brown eyeshadow and I’m hoping it’ll blend out in my crease as well. I like the depth of the color and at first I was disappointed that you were putting it on as an eyeliner but then I realized that most of the time that’s what I want to do. I want a sheer wash of color and then an eyeshadow that I can use as an eyeliner. I will be getting this in several colors. You did a fabulous job with this review and I hope you didn’t take offense to my mentions below as they were not directed at you but the products!
I was wondering how the eyeshadow lasted? I just noticed it’s $25 for one shadow which I don’t have a problem with because the way it applied looked like exactly what I was looking for. Staying power is important though if I’m going to spend $25 for one eyeshadow and based on the rest of the products I’m not impressed but I am impressed with the shadow that you applied! By the way… New subscriber here and looking forward to watching your videos even if you are a lot younger than me I feel like I can learn some thing from you❣️
I think your makeup looks amazing! I reached out to Jones Road for a shade match and they recommended two face pencils and was told to use them before applying WTF. I am nervous as I am combo skin and live in a humid climate overseas. We'll see how it goes... Just have to remember my expectation management like you said! There are times I hate that medium-full coverage look and days where I feel I need more coverage so 🙏 for me lol.
BB does not believe in changing your appearance. She doesn't approve of all the highlighting, strobing, glamming, etc. She thinks that you should still look like yourself. Your skin looks beautiful...and real.
I don't mean this as a criticism but when you say "I don't want to cross contaminate this" for a stick product, you should grab the entire amount you need in one swoop then go to face - if you go back and forth fingers -product -face-product like that, you are indeed cross contaminating the product.
It may feel sticky but it does look absolutely beautiful. I know what you mean tho. I use the make up too and i love the way it looks but i can only wear a little at a time and only one product at a time on my face.
I really hope the, What the Foundation becomes a huge success, so as to spur on more makeup companies to make less full-coverage, cannot see skin, overly matte skin that tries to conceal instead of showcase a natural, fresh peaches and cream, or English rose complexion, or the, ‘porcelain doll complexion’ -which used to be the rage many years ago. Back then, the sign of a good makeup job would be: undetectable foundation, rosy cheeks that looked like you’d just had a brisk walk on a chilly day, lips that looked naturally flushed red or pink ,like after eating a popsicle, subtle eye makeup colors used to make your eyes appear wider, more alert, and defined. I think this new foundation looked better on you as the day went by, and I thought the rosy brown blush definitely looked more like your own natural coloring, and less like a blush stick you applied. I watched a lot of beauty influencer videos during Covid lockdown, and the one think I picked up on was, a lot of them had this circular;teardrop shaped redness of their skin that started down the side of their noses, and down around their chins, and back up again (looked like a big red teardrop shape of redness. I assumed all this was irritation from filming numerous videos of themselves putting on foundation, and that maybe it just took a toll on their skin. It got me thinking about foundation more, and paying attention to the ingredients too. Moreover, having a great skin care system was not helping to fix all this irritation. Hopefully all beauty influencers will only apply products that are green, chemical free, and composed of skincare ingredients. Thank you for this video, without the UA-cam influencers, a lot of people would not know about makeup as skincare.
Hi Jamie, I'm new to your channel. Only watched the part about the eye products since not interested in the face stuff. I have the brown shadow too, and love what you did with it. I have wanted to use it as a liner (very aging lids :)), but with an angle or flat definer brush. Have not found a decent brush yet. The brush you used produced a thickish sort of line. I might want to go thinner. Any thoughts? Also, you mentioned how well it adhered to your skin, but don't forget, you had applied the Just A Sec beforehand, so your lid was not bare. I do agree that it is a very good shadow and am interested in the other dark color, BCITW. I bought the navy pencil - would have preferred a much deeper navy, and it did mot sharpen all that well. Will be following you in the future :)
Jaime I need to know what color is in your shade of nails. That light blue color is so lovely I need it in my life. Also thanks for your review and opinion!
It does start out sticky but I find that it does dry down and stays put! I was yelling "no not powder!" at the screen. Give it a chance by itseIf. I love the concealer sticks! They glide on smooth and really stays.
I feel that Jones Road is catered towards older people who want to achieve a clean look. Looking at the products and the textures, it seems that those with mature skin would suit these products which is pretty great because it gives a chance to older people who do not want a heavy make up look but still want a little something
I held out from buying anything for weeks then caved! Got the sticks, tawny miracle balm, and WTF foundation ! I like all of it but less Is definitely more!!
Jamie I was wondering if you’ve tried the Face Cuddle stick from Em Cosmetics and if it compares to the Hippie Stick. Would like to know if it’s oily skin friendly
I know you weren’t crazy about the products but like everyone else already said you were very much giving Bella Hadid/natural Vogue Get Ready with me with this look and I think we’re all loving it
I feel like there should be some kind of foundation har with a pump for this kind of foundation, like maybe the kind of jar that drunk elephant uses for moisturizer?
I personally really like the blush from this brand, I´m not someone who wears a ton of make of (for the daily I barely wear concealer) so I like that is sheer enough that I don´t need to be careful with it, if I jus tap it a couple times with my fingers it will be fully blended... it doesn´t look like makeup but is there. However the miracle balm doesn't do anything for me other than making my skin look shinny/almost greasy :(
I know Bobbi Brown has gone all Gwyneth and is a clean living, "beauty is about drinking water, not make up" guru these days and these products fit with her new shtick....but, I expected more. Even 'no make up, make up' needs to perform but these products looked so insipid and were neither effective make up, nor skin care. I feel like the idea is probably that it's accessible to all because the aesthetic is a veil of product that enhances your yoga and green juice honed inner beauty, but the reality is, make up like that only works for 0.0001% of the Kendall Jenner supermodel population and the rest of us need layers of peach under eye corrector. It therefore ends up being really exclusive and unwearable and that's never what Bobbi Brown was about. Disappointing.
Haha that is so true! My skin is generally very good and still I have to use corrector/concealer/it cosmetics cc cream to hide my dark circles and look vaguely human. I love Bobbi Brown but I’m not sure who she things these products are for

I’m dying for more people to try out the Trinny London full line !
Would definitely love love love to see your mom try the products out !
Definitely going to try this brand. At 43 less is definitely more with foundation and the textures are made for more mature skin
Jamie I have to say your makeup looks glowing! I get what you are saying about a sticky feeling! I’m curious if you can make it work!
Very heroic to wear the sticky texture for so many hours, I would have made a beeline for the sink right away 😃 and can you imagine wearing glasses on top of it sliding all over?
So happy to see Jamie’s new video! I clicked the like button even before watching the video 😂
You look great 👍🏼 ❤🙋🏻♀️
I feel like this is everything I want from a makeup brand ATM. Definitely placing an order! X
That blush looks so natural on you!
Yay I was just thinking that I’d love to see Jamie review Jones Road!!
It’s giving movie makeup. I’ve been want to try this brand and I love how it looks on your skin but I have oily skin and I’ll take your word on this brand. I want the shadow tho
Try the foundation without the hippie stick. After using foundation and corrector stick add translucent powder. Your finished look is very pretty.
Jamie - use the hippie stick on your feet in the winter! Then apply fuzzy socks!
Lolol!😅
I love this look! So simple and pretty
love to see you using samantha’s sigma collab 🥰🥰
Even if you don't like it too much, on camera it looks so so goood
BB does not believe in changing your appearance. She doesn't approve of all the highlighting, strobing, glamming, etc. She thinks that you should still look like yourself. Your skin looks beautiful...and real.
Thx for the review I am an oily skin person and I was thinking about purchasing the foundation
SHES BACKK!!!!💕💕💕
Hiii🥰
I don't mean this as a criticism but when you say "I don't want to cross contaminate this" for a stick product, you should grab the entire amount you need in one swoop then go to face - if you go back and forth fingers -product -face-product like that, you are indeed cross contaminating the product.
It may feel sticky but it does look absolutely beautiful. I know what you mean tho. I use the make up too and i love the way it looks but i can only wear a little at a time and only one product at a time on my face.
You’re skin looks flawless tho! No cake or mismatch. Imma check this out.
Have you tried the Lisa Eldridge liquid shadow?? The taupe one (can’t remember the name) is a great dupe for Globe. Dare I say it’s even better??
Maybe revisit this in the winter. Maybe ?
You look so pretty with the makeup on. I am on the fence about trying this ... I really want to line it just because of the name. 😂
I think people who create makeup content don’t always appreciate Jones Road because they like *blush*, *brows*, *lips*! Say hello to subtlety.
Would like to know if it’s oily skin friendly
if becca ultimate coverage complexion creme could get through a pump, so can this foundation lol! I have to give this a try!!
Could you try the foundation on its own?
Is the nail color lights lacquer grumpy bear? It’s stunning!
*jamie holds up jones road bag* *I immediately think it’s a bag of chips*
I know you weren’t crazy about the products but like everyone else already said you were very much giving Bella Hadid/natural Vogue Get Ready with me with this look and I think we’re all loving it
Haha thank you so much love
I bought this product. I may be weird but I use twany all over my face ,and lips I love it
I feel like there should be some kind of foundation har with a pump for this kind of foundation, like maybe the kind of jar that drunk elephant uses for moisturizer?
What nail polish is this?! Love the shade
However the miracle balm doesn't do anything for me other than making my skin look shinny/almost greasy :(
I really like the brand name for some reason
What is the brush you used for setting powder? It looks interesting!
I love Bobbi Brown but I’m not sure who she things these products are for
Damn girl, you went in and I am here for it!
I actually think the makeup looks stunning on you, it looks flawless on camera. I can tell you do not like how it feels, but I love the look on you!!
The look is def pretty, but the feeling of it all killed it for me 🥹
If you could hear the hysterical laughter in my house my mom was like Bobby brown has a makeup line?? I’m like woman not that Bobby Brown😂😂😂😂😂
