@@InfinitegardenbyBethK Did I mention that the result was effortless beauty. Please do more and keep advocating for mini kits. I would love to try the miracle balms etc. but they are still quite pricey for the average consumer.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethKcould you please publish the ingredients…. Was considering buying it, but I have tons of allergies so I need to know and inexplicably there are no ingredients listed for Miracle Balm on their website. Thanks
The miracle balms look Vaseline based , too heavy handed though. I’ve been curious as well. , I’m going to look up the ingredients too. Thx for sharing your experience n thoughts !
I love the Jones Road miracle balms and actually have ordered every color. The reason is that I have found uses even for the ones I thought I didn’t like at first. I use them as eye shadows, lip balms, neck and chest highlights, etc. The trick with all of the “ hour” balms is to use them sparingly so that the glitter look is almost invisible but you still have the highlights. My complexion is medium and yet the flushed is my favorite color because I have yellow undertones that are more noticeable with the Miami Beach balm. What’s most surprising is that my own natural skin has developed a more beautiful glow and healthy look as well as smaller pores after using the balms for a few weeks. at 64 I never thought my skin would look so pretty again. Still have my wrinkles but they are no longer the focus.
I think it’s the “miracle” main ingredient; castor oil, that transforms the skin. I’ve been using it combined with rosehip oil on my face and its texture is noticeably improving by the week!
I bought a small bottle of organic castor oil very recently and the label said to avoid the eye area and not to ingest it. My sole purpose was to use it on my eyebrows to hopefully stimulate some regrowth.
@@bethb5915 I use it on my eyelids like you see on the videos. Unfortunately I have touched my eye accidentally with the balm on my hand and it’s very uncomfortable and feels like sand in my eye.
It’s amazing how just the little bit of miracle balm, foundation and the other miracle balm as bronzer changed your entire look. Very minimal and beautiful.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethKI'm almost 5 years dye free and love it. Wish I'd never started down that road but you have to really be in a place of self love and confidence. Thank you for sharing
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK- you and your hair are *gorgeous*! I'm a Beth too with similar curls. I stopped getting highlights a few years ago so that my grey could come in. I hope mine turns to as beautiful a silver as yours! It's really striking :)
My complexion is darker than yours but watching video yours helps me to understand how to evaluate the various shades, how2 use the balms, as well as overlaying them w/ other products. Txs so very helpful. I hope your injury has completely healed and that you're back to a 100% Glow!!!
I don't wear foundation, so I actually wear dusty rose miracle balm in a very light layer all over my face. It adds a tiny bit of color and looks beautiful.
That makes a lot of sense-it seems more useful that way than as a blush. I do love it on my lips. The light silvery shimmer doe catch the light beautifully.
Yes! That’s what I was thinking I would use the miracle balm as. Surprised that you are the first one using it as such. Seems Bobbi did not intend this just as a cheek product - no one gives 50 grams of blush…so just looking at the size of the tub I thought why nit use this as an all over the face…like a primer or tinted moisterizer.
@@gypsy696 makes sense! I think I got turned around because I started with Miami Beach, which is too punchy for all over the face. It set my expectations for the other pink-tones balms. I’m so glad you provided your experience! Thank you.
@@gypsy696 So many reviews say it’s heavy on the skin, very tacky and never dries down. Reviewers have complained that their hair sticks to their face when wearing it outside. Was this your experience?
This was a tone more helpful than the Jones Road website! I have been looking and looking to see what to buy, how well it covers and if use the miracle balm for coverage or if needed a foundation! Now I know I need foundation. Wish that was in mini. I am unsure of shade to get.
Wow! You just showed up on my UA-cam feed. Amazing! I have been wondering which one to buy. At first, I thought it would be “Flushed”, but thanks to you, I know I want “What the Foundation” instead. At almost $40, you saved this low level social security lady a bundle!
I'll bet a least a couple of companies have already produced dupes at half or quarter price of the BB ones. As soon as a new high end cosmetic is released, somebody gets to work creating a near clone, so it's just a matter of waiting awhile to see it in stores or online. I just saw a video about elf copying Charlotte Tilbury, and I go so far back that I can recall Maybelline doing dupes too.
Hi Julie! I have been fascinated with Miracle Balm for a while. I think it's entirely wrong for me. Mature skin, check. Needing moisturizer, check. But I think the stickiness will bug me. I like something, though healthy ingredients, that sink in the skin.
I actually like the Magic Hour which I gently tap in the smallest amount over my Dusty Rose or Flushed. I also do the same thing with Golden Hour over Miami Beach. The lip and cheek in English Rose is lovely over Dusty Rose or Flushed Miracle Balm. I really enjoy playing and experimenting with my JRB products. I love watching your videos!
Thank you so much for the kind words! 🥰😘 It’s great to hear how you are using Magic Hour-that does sound really lovely. I love experimenting with this line, too. So innovative!
Thanks for making the video! Do you know where Bobbie Brown stands on using ethical mica in its products? Mica is the ingredient that gives these cosmetics this shimmer and shine. According to the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association, India and China are the main producers of natural mica. India is the world's largest producer and exporter of mica. Mica is a mineral that is mined from the topsoil and extracted using surface mining techniques. In cosmetics, mica is used in body lotions, skincare products, and toiletries. It can give a soft sheen, shine or glitter effect to the skin and is used as a bulking agent and to increase viscosity. Some of the world's biggest cosmetics companies, including L'Oréal and Estée Lauder, source mica from India. L'Oréal says that their mica mainly comes from the USA and India. Mica mining is a lucrative business, and the market for this group of minerals is expected to grow to almost $700 million in 2024. However, the mining industry in some parts of the world relies on artisan and small-scale miners who are living in poverty and have to put their children to work.
I wish they would have offered the minis right at the get go... so you didn’t have to commit to such a large amount at first without trying several. They don’t sell this in stores and didn’t offer samples. Yes I know she has a store but I don’t live there. Anyhow I am using it and enjoying its benefits!
I really like the Miracle Balm, my skin is mature combo/oily. I pat a tiny amount with one finger onto the drier cheekbones. I’m fair and Dusty Rose is a natural color for me, but it enhances my broken capillaries. Bobbi said get the Bronze if you have redness to cover, so I tried that and it’s brilliant. It blurs my capillaries and makes them just look more peach. I can touch up with the face pencil too. The other use I have for Miracle Balm is the next day after using retinol at night. Retinol makes my face irritated and red, so I’m just once a week with it followed by a Miracle Balm day to heal up.
That’s so interesting about using the bronze to cover redness. It makes perfect sense that you would use the balm in tandem with retinol-it’s absolutely perfect for that!
This video helped me very much! I I have four large miracle balms. Au natural is my very favorite and I have repurchased! I use by itself all over my face . The other three colors are flushed, dusty rose ( disappointed because lack of color so I use as a highlighter) and tawny ( surprisingly beautiful) I only use tawny as a blush applying very subtle. What was helpful about this video was explaining about magic hour!!!! One of my pet peeves is to see ANY glitter whatsoever, ANYWHERE!!!!! So I will stay away from magic hour, happy hour and golden hour. AU NATURAL has the most finest mica( luminosity) Making it look sooo natural without any glitter whatsoever!!!! I love love the product and pray they do not discontinue
Oh. My. Goodness! I had just purchased my first Miracle Balm (Dusty Rose/Redhead) and before using it, I wanted to watch a few videos! You are my new makeup buddy! 💐 I watched the video twice and have subscribed. Love, love, love how you present and the information given! AWESOME! 💐 Thank you so much! 💝 (Bobbi should hire you, but I love to hear about your other makeup options so stay true to yourself for all of us!) 🎉
I really enjoyed this video. I’m 44, with an medium olive complexion - so it gets sallow in the winter. I don’t quite know why, but I have never enjoyed the look of added blush to my cheeks. So I think I will get dusty Rose just to see if it cuts the sallowness if worn all over. And magic hour was in my cart. Yikes - I’m swapping it for something else!
Thank you so much for this video!! I have only been able to find 20 something reviewing this line. They all seem to dislike it but I’m in my later 40’s. This helped me finally d encoded to go for it. I did order the minis this time. But definitely will be ordering the foundation next.
I just got my second Miracle Balm in Au Naturelle and I love it! Beautiful natural glow and so moisturizing! My skin needs it! Thank you for your review!
HI, I too just started experimenting with Miracle Balm. I have a similar skin tone to yours except I have many more freckles. I too love the Au Naturale I also love the Bronze and Dusty Rose. I love the Magic Hour though. I use it as an eyeshadow base and then put Ashe or Bronze eyeshadow from Jones Road over it. I love the Face pencil too and the WTFoundation as well. I don’t like to wear foundation everyday so I have found the Miracle Balm product used in conjunction with the face pencil as my everyday look. I love to use my own eye cream from Clarins and the Au Naturale Miracle Balm under my eyes in conjunction with the Face pencil since it needs moisturizer to cover effectively. I love your videos. Thank you for sharing.
These colors are gorgeous! I’ve been so intrigued by this line. Thank you for showing how to use and the variety of colors. I’m going to watch for sales this year and grab some up! I would love to try the as a bronzer! I have the same issue you mentioned! I’m so fair and they looked so orange & dark.
Just my opinion but Miracle Balm doesn’t have to look it’s there on your face. It’s more like skincare product and makes your skin look healthier without the makeup look. I use it after serums and sunscreen (I recommend Japanese sunscreen, it feels like a gel, not heavy at all!), skip moisturizer, and use my stick foundation as if it’s a concealer. I have melasma and the balm doesn’t cover it but since my face glow so healthily I feel like I don’t really care if I have uneven skin tone. My skin condition has improved so much too. I love my skin now
I bought a set of minis at Christmas to try MB. I chose Au Naturel, Dusty Rose, Flushed and Happy Hour. I actually like them all. I love how they make my skin feel. The Magic Hour might be pretty as a highlight on your collarbone in the summer with a dress like the one you’re wearing here. Just a little zhoozh when you go out for an evening. It’s just a thought. I liked how you used that darker one as bronzer. I might want to try that. I really appreciate this video, especially from someone who looks like I do as opposed to someone in their 40s.
I use Miracle Balm in Au Natural mostly daily. But I use the WTF for my "foundation" for special occasions. I have more combo skin, so for me, the Balm does it for toning down the redness. And I use the WTF and the cheek/lip stick for blusher. For me, someone who despises makeup, these products are really a game-changer. I feel like I'm doing something good for my skin.
My foundation is full of tiny chunks. Yours looks smooth. I ordered some JR powder and was surprised at how skimpy the compact was compared to the Miracle Balm. The Dusty Rose can also be a base, I live in FL. I also like the Happy Hour on shoulders. My best result was rubbing the excess MB on top of my hands and shocked to see wrinkles disappeared.
Thank you for sharing how you apply the Miracle Balm... I just ordered after taking their quiz, and saving your video to practice to, when they arrive!!💌
Thank you for doing a review of the Jones Road line. I have been considering buying some of the products but keep reading negative reviews saying that it is greasy or doesn't hold up during the day. It looks absolutely beautiful on you. You are beautiful and the makeup just enhanced that lovely, radiant beauty of yours.
Great review! I also use Miami Beach over What The Foundation. At first I thought it heavy but I found my skin loved it. Like you, I build up the color and it looks very natural and gives a deep, healthy glow. I use it on the cheeks, around the hair line and chin. The color lasts all day. I look forward to applying both the foundation and miracle balm each day. The miracle balm is a generous amount and has lasted for months.
at first I felt I might be putting on "too much" Miracle Balm because my face stayed "sticky" all day. So I did keep reducing the amount but I never got to the point where my hair wasn't sticking to my face. Any suggestions?
Stickiness has been my biggest concern. What kind of powder? I’m not a makeup person, so I’ve No idea what powder means. Is it colorless? Plus when do you apply your sunscreen? TY!
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK stickiness would drive me crazy and is the reason I haven’t purchased any of these products. I can’t stand my hair sticking to my face. Plus what’s powder ,etc… when do you put your suns end on. I’m not at all educated when it comes to Make up, thanks!
Beth I want to give you a huge thank you for this very thorough educational video. It’s awesome. You are so very beautiful. You have helped me decide which mb shades and lip balm to purchase now. Wow! I am also definitely buying the wtfoundation. I’m so happy & thankful I watched your video. These products are so awesome & I’m very excited to get them & have fun playing with the colors. Keep helping people & changing lives. Hugs to you, Mary Freya of TN
Just got the 4.0 package. With Pinched Cheeks. Nice color. The new gel liner will be added to my daily wear. Also got Happy Hour Miracle Balm - it has that same “glitter” look you mentioned. If the pieces were smaller, it would work better. I’m using sparingly as highlighter only.
Thanks for the demo. I have bought a few. I have yellower toned skin and find the dusty rose shows up well on me. I bought bronze but really should have got tawny, but was put off by the JR colour guide which says this is better for deeper skin. I recommend Golden Hour, it’s beautiful. ✨
Thank you thank you! Last summer I purchased Miami Beach and Tawny Miracle Balm, and 2 Lip & Cheek sticks (Rosey Brown & Tawny Nude). I’ve not been reaching for the Miracle Balms because I feel like I am not using them properly, or they fade so quickly from my face and I don’t want to do multiple touch-ups during the day. But I LOVE how Au Natural + the WT Foundation looks on you! I am going to give them another try ❤ also I feel better knowing that it’s ok to layer additional blush or powder your face afterwards; I had really wanted to do that but held back.
Just recevied my Jones Road. Thanks for the review and great the tip on using Magic Hour to put on your shoulders, etc. I agree, it is a bit much for the face.
I am 83 with dry skin. I like the feeling that the Miracle Balm is protecting my skin without screaming that I am desperately using makeup to stay youthful. I also use 2 face pencils and the eyeliner. The oil is very bright and dazzling. I put the Happy Hour on my bare fingernails.
I really like this concept and wanted to look at purchasing it, wish it all had more of a matte look. Personally for me, I don't like the glossy look of this product 😢 Thank you for taking time to show all the colors and how they all really work!
Great video. I have started using au naturel as a base before I put on my foundation. It seems to act as a sealant and keep my foundation from settling into my pores. I also like the thought that it is acting as a barrier on my skin from my foundation not so friendly chemicals.
I love Jones Road! I do agree that dusty rose is too soft and like how you recommend the stick to punch the color up. I have also found that Miami Beach and the bronzer are surprisingly awesome for my light skin. I like the way what the foundation feels. My skin feels so happy and moist not greasy. I just turned 60 and am so pleased with this line!
Hi Beth. I’m 59 and hate the look and feel of makeup. But since discovering this line of makeup/skin care I love wearing it. I love how it feels going on and how it feels throughout the day. I have light skin and wear the porcelain WTF. I like to mix the Magic Hour MB with either the Au Natural or the Dusty Rose MB all over my face underneath the WTF. Because the WTF is shear I feel like the MB can be seen under it. So there’s an added coverage and it tones down the glitter of the Magic Hour MB. It gives my a beautiful glow. 🥰
Thank you, Joani, for sharing your method for mixing these products. I can totally see mixing Magic Hour with Au Naturel under the foundation! Great input.I hope you have a great week! 💖
Very curious about this product line- - -love the concept. Hope the company offers the mini kit again. Your reviews on this product are fantastic! My husband and I are watching Ted Lasso right now. I actually own the same large ceramic leopard that Keely has in her office. What are the chances of that happening!
Thank you so much for your kind words. 🥰😘🥰😘 I hope they offer the minis permanently-I think a lot of people would like the chance to wade in slowly. So fun that you and Keely have similar taste in decor. I love her character 😍😍
Thank you for your video. I’ve been wondering about this product and I’ve been looking for a new blusher as sometimes that’s all I wear when I don’t want to deal with my loose powder. After watching your video, I’m thinking that this might not be the right product me, although I do like the Sunkissed not sure how it would look on my light olive skin.. Your skin does look lovely.
My skin is acne prone, and requires a lot of maintenance to stay clear. When my skin is clear, ive used magic hour, golden hour and sunkissed. I have a medium dark complexion and the sunkissed balm shade takes the red out of my complexion. Thanks to products like pro-active, ive been able to wear my sunkissed balm full time, until i wash it all off at night and apply my acne products. Miracle balm is great for summer wear!
Thanks for this review! Just for those viewers who don’t typically wear much color, Dusty Rose is the only Miracle Balm that gives me a little color without actually looking like I’m wearing makeup. Great for days when I just wear it alone with a little mascara. For days when I do want to look made up, I add a pop of Flushed or another deeper balm just to the apples of my cheeks. Applying it over Dusty Rose allows it to look more dimensional and transition to my skin tone, which is pale. I wear the “light” in WTF for reference. Many people have trouble with the amount of moisture in these products so I do want to mention this is not like the typical makeup that we might be used to. Using it for some time will teach you to appreciate Bobbi’s color mastery and her concept of letting skin be its best self rather than covering it up. I can’t use as much Miracle Balm as you demonstrated, maybe just half that much, especially over WTF, so afterwards I pat my hands all over my face to blend it in nicely and remove any excess. I pat this onto my neck.
I don’t like how they feel on my face, like a thick Vaseline. I do love the Jones Road Dusty Rose Bronzer, perfect shade for my skin. So I have fun with that on my eyes as well.
So glad you reviewed these! I also bought the minis, and am here to try to figure out how to use them. Mainly, I don't see the point of the au naturel balm. I don't know why you would want to put this on your face since there is no color to it. I will try what you've done here, apply it all over before putting on the WTF. Otherwise, I don't see what use it has other than as a lip balm. Like you, I've been using the Sunkissed as a bronzer/contour. And I had the same thought about the Magic Hour, that you could put it on elsewhere to give your skin a glow. I've been experimenting with it as a highlighter--the jury's still out on whether or not I would reorder these. I already had the Dusty Rose balm--I know you weren't very impressed with it, but it's actually very much like my natural coloring. I love it. The Flushed is a brighter pink, almost too pink. You look great in the Miami Beach, but I avoid coral/peachy colors--they look horrible on me. The Dusty Rose is right up my alley. Overall, I really like the WTF and the Miracle Balm, I'm 60 and it makes my skin glow like when I was young.
Thank you for sharing that you like the Dusty Rose shade. It’s possible you might have lighter skin or even cooler tones so it shows up on you. My skin eats it right up. I love how this line makes my skin look and feel, too 💖💖
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK oh yes, definitely, I have very fair skin with cool undertones. I suspect that you are an Autumn since the Miami Beach looks so good on you. Do you have any other suggestions on what to do with the Au Naturel?
At first I didn't get the point of the au Naturel either, it just seemed like shimmery Vaseline. Then I started tretinoin, and that au Naturel has been my lifeline. Over the course of the day, no matter what products I use, spots like my under eyes and smile lines become crepey and dry. No matter how good you look in the morning, once patches become dry you just start looking older and wrinkly as the day wears on. I pat a little of the au Naturel onto those areas, and they are instantly supple and hydrated, and the slight shimmer deflects light and gives a youthful dewy look. This wouldn't work with one of the tinted shades--pink, bronze, or coral on the under-eye would look awful. Now I can't be without my au Naturel MB. It frees me to use whatever concealer or foundation I want, and when it starts to get dry or crepey, a dab of au Naturel brings it back to life. ❤😊
I have been interested in the miracle balms but couldn’t decide on a shade. This video was very helpful. You are correct. The Miami Beach shade looks great on you. Still not sure I’ll purchase this product as I am a heavily freckled person. I’m intrigued by your hair. It looks great, so great I found myself wondering if it is natural. Great info, thanks.
So I perused some other videos and found that is your hair. Your face looks younger than your age (probably due to excellent skin care and sun screen). The contrast between your face and hair is intriguing and interesting.
Thankfully, the acceptance of grey hair has been changing these last few years. What I don’t like is this gradual nonsense. I wish one day we woke up and our hair was grey or silver or white - all at once. That would be something to look forward to. We could call our friends and say, “Guess what? Today’s my day! I’m a silver!”
@@ale7564that’s so funny. If that option were available, I would have made the move a lot longer ago. The gradual growing out process is an entire journey-but I recommend it. I learned a lot about myself in the very long process.
Yay! Finally, someone whose coloring is close to mine! My hair is more silver, as my age is more advanced. ❤ The Miracle Balms were too emollient for my combo skin, unfortunately. Before she sold her original line, I adored her powder bronzer in "Aruba" because it mimicked my natural summer tan and never turned orange. New subbie!
Thanks for the review. I wear very little makeup and these subtle, sheer products that you can wear on both cheeks and lips are interesting. I might give them a try....
Thank you! I agree and I didn’t know this until I went gray and started exploring. I always thought I was warm because I have brown eyes and my skin is neutral.
I bought Jones Road in dusty rose. It is very sheer as you noted. I find the product is nearly the consistency of vaseline and I have to use powder to “set” after applying it; otherwise my hair actually sticks to it! Without using powder after application my face is way too shiny and sticky. A less expensive and much smaller pink cream blush works much better.
Oh no! I'm so sorry Beth. Hope the hydrocortisone cream is working. I'm glad that the Au Naturale balm is helping. I wish I would have known about the mini set of the balms. I think you could use the Dusty Rose as a subtle highlighter. Miami Beach looks absolutely stunning on you. For myself, I actually prefer a light hint of blush. Gorgeous finished look! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. Wishing you a speedy healing. Hugs. ❤❤💝
Thank you, Rene! It’s been about a week and it’s almost back to normal. Good grief, though 😬😬😬 I will definitely make use of the Dust Rose-and I love your suggestion. You might love this line if you like a light hint. It really is a beautiful product line. 💖💖I hope you have a fabulous week.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK do I dare ask which product burned your face? That's scary. What a horrible ordeal. I may see if Jones Road is offering any of the minis. We are hopefully anticipating rain tonight into tomorrow. Seems like it's been weeks without it. Have a wonderful week ahead! ❤❤
Another thorough review Beth thank you. I'm not really a makeup wearer just a touch of blush, mascara and lipstick. I might try the Lip and Cheek stick in English Rose. Have a great week.
Thank you, Karen! I used the lip and cheek tint this morning on both my lips and cheeks-it’s so good and easy. Blends like a dream and English Rose is a very good color.
I wanted to try this product, but didn’t want to commit to the full size tubs, I’ll look for the mini set. Hopefully it’s still available! That’ll be a nice way to try out the different colors. Thanks for this review!
I’d say my skin tone is perhaps one shade darker than yours, but so similar in undertone. I own Flushed and Sunkissed; I use Sunkissed almost every day when I am looking to achieve a put-together look in 5min or less. I use Australian Gold SPF 50 Med/Tan sunscreen as a foundation almost daily. For the 5min face, I will use that sunscreen, then Sunkissed as an all-over face bronzer, do my brows, eyes, lips and I am always quite pleased with that no-makeup makeup look. Sometimes I will pair Flushed over the apples of my cheeks and upper eyelid for some contrast against Sunkissed, but like you, it isn’t a favorite of the shades. Sunkissed, however, is a keeper.
I just recently tired miracle balm... late to this party. I definitely feel the need to powder down after using as a skin tint/ note my skin is very dry!! I have to confess I was lured by the hype because I am a "less is more" makeup girl however the feel is too heavy and there isn't enough tint to qualify as a tint or blush. Like you I feel like I need to add more. As far as the highlighters way too glowy for my mature natural like skin preference. Appreciate your review and thoughts on this brand. Cheers Cindy
Hi Cindy💖💖💖💖 as time goes one since I made this review, I’m finding I love so many Jones Road products, but Miracle Balm is my favorite of the offerings. It’s great for what it is, but I think the more traditional products are right for me.
@beyond50skin I really think it can be, but I have also seen some comments that some people are irritated by some of the essential oils. I really think if people can get their hands on minis they should start there. I am so sensitive that I tend to stick with what works, and once I start testing things it’s hard to know what caused irritation.
I really love the MB as primers… or sometimes I wear them alone in days where I’m not going anywhere. I’ve got Au Natural, Miami Beach, Golden Hour, and Bronze (which I use sometimes as my bronzer) I’m like you with Miami Beach and love it’s bolder pigment. Golden Hour is a great “lit from within” base under foundation or a highlighter. I’ve also used them as a monochromatic look using on my eyes as well. Her eyeshadows and eyeliners are great too. I don’t really like her mascara… it’s too clumpy and thick for my lashes🤷♀️
I love the idea of using these in the eyes-so nourishing! I did review her eyeshadow and mascara in another video-I agree with you. The mascara needs work. The Bobbi Brown Smoky Eye mascara is an all time favorite of mine.
Have you tried the face pencils or neutralizers? I ordered the mini balm set and love having colors to play with. Miami Beach, Flushed and Sunkissed are my favorites. I like how they give aging skin a bit of glow.
I'm so glad you were able to get a mini set--I hope they make that permanent. I did try the face pencil, but it wasn't a good match for my skin so I didn't use it. I did like the formula and how convenient the delivery method would be for travel or on the go.
The idea of the Sunkissed as a bronzer is intriguing. I tried the Au Naturale - it just felt like there was lip balm all over my face. Ugh! Maybe I’m putting too much on.
I know just what you mean-the lip balm comparison is accurate. I was warming it up a bit and patting it in, but it’s absolutely apparent. If you don’t like that feeling, this product won’t be a fit. 😘😘
I love the foundation and I’ve got sunkissed and tawny shades in the balm. I do actually love glitter so I think I will like magic hour as a highlighter. I hope they bring back the minis again soon so I can get more!
I am 56. Love JR. I'm in-between fair and medium skin. Blue-Red undertone. I have miami Beach, happy hourn, tawny and flushed ( think it's flushed). Anyway, LOVE ALL of them. I like how you put the Miami Beach higher up on your cheek bones. What I'm curious about is Tawny. Should I use it, or would bronze or the new Pinky Bronze be better? As an undertone.
Hi! I can’t say for sure but to me, Bronze has an orange twinge that might be opposite of your blue undertone. Both bronze and pinky bronze look great-pinky bronze especially! I haven’t tried them.
Hi, nice to meet you! Jones Road has a mini sized now. You look very pretty with all of them but, I was especially looking for Miami Beach that’s the one for me.😊
You look absolutely stunning 👩🏻🦳🌷 interesting products. I would not purchase these only because I don’t wear anything on my face except skin care and sunscreen. Have a great week 🤗🌷
Thank you very much! I was looking for someone who used "au naturel" all over the face. On top of that the rest of the products. I really love the whole look.
If they offer minis I may try it. It seems so odd I can’t pull the trigger on a full size on any of the products but I have dry mature skin and I wonder if it would be a good fit?
I know what you mean-if I didn’t have a UA-cam channel I might not have wanted to take the risk. I can say that I genuinely love the What the Foundation and I was so skeptical (I kind of hate the name 😂). I have used up my first jar and I have repurchased.
I loved your video! You came on my feed and I’ve been quite curious about Jones Road. I’ve heard such extreme views. Have you tried the concealer pencil? Oh, and I now have hair goals. I’m done coloring. I want to go silver. And I’m a curly girl.
Hello! Welcome 💖 I did try the concealer pencil but I bought the wrong color so I didn’t get much use from it. I think it makes perfect sense in a makeup bag in your purse. It’s genius for on the go touch ups.
Good morning! New to your channel. Love the beautiful grey curls, you’re beautiful! I’ve been wanting to try the Jones Road may pick up one mini just to test on my sensitive sun. 💕🙏💕
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK Thank you! it may not work on my sensitive skin, I’m seeing so many reviews, some great some terrible. Seems to be a love hate relationship going on!🤣
I have purchased several of these and I love using Miami Beach and flushed as my blush. The only product I seem to have a problem with is the concealer sticks when I use them under my eyes. Maybe I’m applying it wrong. All in all I love Jones Road products!
Does the powder keep the blush from coming off? Like on your phone? I used a make-finishing spray. I use and like dusty rose but agree not enough pigmentation.
Yes, powder helps a ton. This product line does include a powder, but I have not tried it yet because I prefer pressed or baked powders to loose. I always seem to make a mess of loose powders.
I've been looking into Miracle Balm and am very tempted to try it. If there were minis or especially a mini sample kit of all the colors I'd probably have to say yes. My only hesitation is they're not AS low-toxic/low-potential-irritant as I'd like according to a Better Goods article. Though it does say cruelty-free though not a fully vegan brand. And somewhat sustainable. There's a concern about ethics of mica. If anyone knows a very similar product that's even less toxic and no scent, please tell me! But it also sounds pretty unique!
Thank you for this. It clarified that this product line doesn't work for me because, sadly, I need coverage for scars on my face. I like a natural look, so this is a constant challenge! I appreciate your info.
So nice to follow you, I found your voice and your pronounce really calm and clear, perfect to keep in practice without too much efforts 😊 I image it's a different type of comment😅 Anyway, nice products but not available in Italy and too big and expensive with the taxes😢
Wow, finally a woman with mature skin showing looks start to finish that look very natural. Thank you, thank you!!❤
Here to represent 😂
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK Did I mention that the result was effortless beauty. Please do more and keep advocating for mini kits.
I would love to try the miracle balms etc. but they are still quite pricey for the average consumer.
She has grey hair…. but to me at 62 years old, she doesn’t have mature skin. 😊
Just FYI, I saw Bobbi say in a video not to use Miracle Balms on, or close to, the eyes.
@@msr1116 I put castor oil on my eyelids, brows, and eye lashes every night. Started about 2 weeks ago. BTW, some eye drops contain castor oil.
It’s amazing how just the little bit of miracle balm, foundation and the other miracle balm as bronzer changed your entire look. Very minimal and beautiful.
Yes! I think that’s the genius of these products. So simple and effective.
I’ve really been curious about the Jones Road product line. Thanks for showing so many of these in action.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! It’s a good line-really fresh.
Just in case that you're allergic to coconut, this product contains coconut

My complexion is darker than yours but watching video yours helps me to understand how to evaluate the various shades, how2 use the balms, as well as overlaying them w/ other products. Txs so very helpful. I hope your injury has completely healed and that you're back to a 100% Glow!!!
Thank you! I’m back to normal 🥰 I’m so glad to hear this video was helpful for you. 💖💖
@@wdbreezy I have short hair and only apply a light layer so don’t have this issue
This was a tone more helpful than the Jones Road website! I have been looking and looking to see what to buy, how well it covers and if use the miracle balm for coverage or if needed a foundation! Now I know I need foundation. Wish that was in mini. I am unsure of shade to get.
Awesome!! Thank you. I have no idea of this is helpful to you, but I’m Light Neutral usual and I use Fair in WTF.
Glad I could help!
100% the minis make sense.
AU NATURAL has the most finest mica( luminosity)
Making it look sooo natural without any glitter whatsoever!!!! I love love the product and pray they do not discontinue
Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
I liked the "messy" swatches - it showed what it'd really be like to work with any of those products.
Oh good! Thank you 🥰😘🥰😘
Me too!
Oh. My. 💝 (Bobbi should hire you, but I love to hear about your other makeup options so stay true to yourself for all of us!) 🎉
Hi!!! Thank you so much. I’m so glad you’re here. 💖💖💖
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. It's so important to find reviews that feel relevant. Let me know how you like the foundation.
I just got my second Miracle Balm in Au Naturelle and I love it! Beautiful natural glow and so moisturizing! My skin needs it! Thank you for your review!
Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you so much for this super thoughtful comment!
Your skin is great! I use the miracle balm on top of my Patrick Ta or Pat McGrath blush. I have Miami Beach and Happy Hour. They are great for glow.
Fascinating! Does the balm move the powder products?
These colors are gorgeous! I’ve been so intrigued by this line. Thank you for showing how to use and the variety of colors. I’m going to watch for sales this year and grab some up! I would love to try the as a bronzer! I have the same issue you mentioned! I’m so fair and they looked so orange & dark.
I hope she serves up exactly that-sales and minis would help people feel more comfortable wading in.
Great idea! 💡
Awesome! Glad to hear your perspective
I just watched the end after you put on the powder. You look really pretty.
Glad it was helpful!
You are so kind!!! Thank you.
I love this video! I agree Miami Beach is the best!! I have the ones you mentioned and I agree it’s the best.
It really is! It’s so pretty 🤩
Love this!! Thanks for your input b
at first I felt I might be putting on "too much" Miracle Balm because my face stayed "sticky" all day. So I did keep reducing the amount but I never got to the point where my hair wasn't sticking to my face. Any suggestions?
I use powder-which I know is not ideal for most.
I’m not at all educated when it comes to

Oooo, congratulations 🎊 I really want to try that gel eyeliner!
Thanks for the demo. I have bought a few. I have yellower toned skin and find the dusty rose shows up well on me. I bought bronze but really should have got tawny, but was put off by the JR colour guide which says this is better for deeper skin. I recommend Golden Hour, it’s beautiful. ✨
Love your feedback! It’s an innovative product and I love to hear how people are interacting with it. 💖
Absolutely!! Layer anything you like. It’s too shiny for me.
You are honestly just as beautiful without it, though I did enjoy the well spoken review and tutorial. Thank you 😊
Aw, thank you!! 🙏 I enjoy putting on makeup and sometimes I enjoy skipping it.
Just recevied my Jones Road. Thanks for the review and great the tip on using Magic Hour to put on your shoulders, etc. I agree, it is a bit much for the face.

So great to hear !! 💖💖💖
Great video. I have started using au naturel as a base before I put on my foundation. It seems to act as a sealant and keep my foundation from settling into my pores. I also like the thought that it is acting as a barrier on my skin from my foundation not so friendly chemicals.
Thank you 💖💖 That makes perfect sense. Has your skin loved it?
I love Jones Road! I do agree that dusty rose is too soft and like how you recommend the stick to punch the color up. I have also found that Miami Beach and the bronzer are surprisingly awesome for my light skin. I like the way what the foundation feels. My skin feels so happy and moist not greasy. I just turned 60 and am so pleased with this line!
So nice to hear you are loving the line! I feel the same way. I just finished my what I think is my fifth jar of WTF and plan to buy more.

I actually use a very light application of dusty rose mb all over my face instead of foundation. I love it
This makes a lot of sense! Thank you very much for sharing how you use this product. 🥰😘
Thank you!! 🙏
Looks great once you powdered…I was worried because it looked so greasy. Ended up beautiful! 😍
Yeah, it’s absolutely necessary to powder for me!
Thank you so much for sharing how you make Sunkissed work with your skin type. I can totally see how it would be ideal for summer 🥰😘
You are so generous for sharing all of the great tips! Thank you so much!
The Miami Beach is gorgeous on you!😍
Thank you! I love a good coral. 🪸
I don’t like how they feel on my face, like a thick Vaseline.
I do love the Jones Road Dusty Rose Bronzer, perfect shade for my skin. So I have fun with that on my eyes as well.
Great tip! I totally understand why you say that about these balms.
Love this ❤ thank you for posting this video 😊
You're so welcome!
I actually went gray really young-started at 17, so I think my skin is probably right on time but my hair makes me seem older.
New subbie!
Welcome! I'm so glad you are here. I really loved her original line, too. I remember adoring the powder blush in Tawny.
Thanks for the review. I wear very little makeup and these subtle, sheer products that you can wear on both cheeks and lips are interesting. I might give them a try....
Suzy, you might find them just perfect for you. 💖 They are made for people who want a pretty, natural effect with skincare benefits.
Wow. Those cool / neutral colors are fabulous on you! I think you are a cool season!
Thank you! I agree and I didn’t know this until I went gray and started exploring. I always thought I was warm because I have brown eyes and my skin is neutral.
Very helpful in choosing (and eliminating) shades. Exactly what I was looking for in a review. Thanks so much.
Ok yay!’ Glad to have helped you. 💖
Thank you so this demonstration!
You’re so welcome!
I can totally see this. It’s a strange product and not for everyone. 💖
Good grief, though 😬😬😬
I will definitely make use of the Dust Rose-and I love your suggestion.
Sunkissed is just gorgeous! I’m glad to hear you have had a similar experience with it.
I love a tinted sunscreen as a base, too. Makes it easy. 😘
It’s great for what it is, but I think the more traditional products are right for me.
sometimes I get irritated skin from trying products as well. It’s good to know that miracle bomb can be a soothing ally for our irritated skin.😊
Love your channel. Found you through this video!! Subscribed 😊
Thank you!! I’m so glad you are here 💗
The idea of the Sunkissed as a bronzer is intriguing.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethKthis is me. I am amazed people can tolerate this. It feels OCCLUSIVE:(
I also didn't like the lip balm feel of this line. I ended up returning it.
She spoke about the foundation and so I ordered the foundation. I need to reorder to get the miracle balm.
Great review! Thank you.
Please review the eye shadow cream and mascara

I love your peonies!❤
Yes! These are the last of my late bloomers. This year I had so many flowers-they’re fully established now. 😍😍
I love the foundation and I’ve got sunkissed and tawny shades in the balm. I do actually love glitter so I think I will like magic hour as a highlighter. I hope they bring back the minis again soon so I can get more!
Magic Hour is going to be glorious as a highlighter. It’s stunning-just super reflective.
I am 56.
Hi Beth! I love your beautiful peonies. Gorgeous!! Have a great week.
Thank you! I planted four plants a few years ago and this was the first year that I had tons and tons of blooms. Im in heaven 😍😍
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK They’re one of my favorites!!!🤗❤️
Hi, nice to meet you! Jones Road has a mini sized now. You look very pretty with all of them but, I was especially looking for Miami Beach that’s the one for me.😊
Miami Beach is such a pretty color! I hope you like it. 💖 thank you for the kind words 😘
You look absolutely stunning 👩🏻🦳🌷 interesting products. I would not purchase these only because I don’t wear anything on my face except skin care and sunscreen. Have a great week 🤗🌷
You are so kind, Louise! I love that you have such a minimal base routine-it leaves plenty of room to enjoy lipstick 😃💄🥰😘
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK yes definitely 💄💄💋👩🏻🦳🌷
Thank you very much! I was looking for someone who used "au naturel" all over the face. On top of that the rest of the products. I really love the whole look.
Thank you!! 🙏
I will try them now. Thank you❤
Good luck!
I have seen comments that hair sticks to it so windy days with long hair would be annoying.
It can!
Mix together the Flushed with the Bronze color before applying. A gorgeous color
Great tip!! That sounds lovely.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK here’s hoping the do minis because after seeing your review I would try the WTF.
It looks like you have Vaseline on your face. I'm just not into the wet look. You should try Tower 28 Magic Hour. That color would look great on you.
Thank you, Nancy! Welcome 💖💖💖 that’s a great idea to try a mini. This product includes essential oils which can be irritating. Good luck!
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK Thank you! it may not work on my sensitive skin, I’m seeing so many reviews, some great some terrible. Seems to be a love hate relationship going on!🤣
No but i want too! Glad on review on magic hour as i thought was for me.
It might be!! It was just sparkly for me 💖💖
I have purchased several of these and I love using Miami Beach and flushed as my blush. The only product I seem to have a problem with is the concealer sticks when I use them under my eyes. Maybe I’m applying it wrong. All in all I love Jones Road products!
I only had one concealer stick, but it was the wrong shade so I didn’t use it. I might try to find the right shade and try again.
Wow great review lots of useful information thanks
Does the powder keep the blush from coming off? Like on your phone? I used a make-finishing spray. I use and like dusty rose but agree not enough pigmentation.
Yes, powder helps a ton. This product line does include a powder, but I have not tried it yet because I prefer pressed or baked powders to loose. I always seem to make a mess of loose powders.
My question is …when do you use concealer? Is it better to put it on first and then use Miracle Balm after? I love the look!
I say after for sure. The balm would break down the concealer.
I hope they bring back the mini kits-it just makes so much sense.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK Totally! Agree! Have seen a bunch of comments on videos wanting that.
E.L.F. has some smaller pots with stunning colors.
@@2000shadesofgrayI love ELF products. Also very well priced.
THANKS FOR THE DEMO. VERY HELPFUL.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this. It clarified that this product line doesn't work for me because, sadly, I need coverage for scars on my face. I like a natural look, so this is a constant challenge! I appreciate your info.
Yes, it’s polarizing.
Thanks for well-paced, informative video.! Best one for Jones Road so far. Where did you find your beautiful dress/top?
That is so kind! This too is from J. Crew before the bankruptcy. So good 😊
So nice to follow you, I found your voice and your pronounce really calm and clear, perfect to keep in practice without too much efforts 😊
I image it's a different type of comment😅
Anyway, nice products but not available in Italy and too big and expensive with the taxes😢
Thank you 🙏 you’re so kind. Yes, I didn’t realize how much more expensive these products are in Europe.
It’s so beautiful…love your look
Thank you! 😊
