hey guys! remember, if your non-binary, or anything else that has something to do with not being male or female, you dont have to go by they/them! i myself am non-binary, and i use it/its pronouns! everyone is valid, you use the pronouns you want to use, and no matter who, what, or where you are, your still so valid!! ♥️♥️
i know probably no one will ever see this nor care but i just realized this is me. i always felt that im neither a boy nor a girl and that im just me. this makes me so happy, confused and scared. just... yeah. (sorry needed to tell it somewhere)
im non-binary and i use they/them pronouns but i dress in what society would say is 'girly' but in my household clothes have no gender same with colors and overall looks. the other day i was hanging out with this 6 yo and her brother who is now 9 and she took off her ring so we could jump on there trampoline and the boy put the ring on and said "wow i look good in this" and the girl said "no you can't wear that! boys can't wear rings!" and little dude came back with "tell that to our dad who has his ears pierced" then i explained to her that there isn't such thing as boy and girl things
If you can't wear binders for whatever reason then i have some tips Sports bra's they are much more comfortable and they do make you a bit flat not as much as a binder would and do not work if you have big boobs Loose shirts they arent as effective as binders or sports bras but if you dont have big boobs you should be fine Layered clothing so this would be an alternative to loose clothing and a bit more effective do not wear this in the summer if you live in a hot place like arizona for your own safety if you have big boobs this may be the best one for you
When they acted like their parents it just.... Oh G O D. MY MOM AND DAD AT THE EXACT SAME. My mom is constantly invading my privacy and doesn't listen to my therapist because "tHEy ArEN't P A R E N T S!" They almost never use my pronouns and told me that going into the boys bathroom is "INaPplROpRIaTe" and "FOrciNg YOuR BeLiEFs ONtO OThERs"
That's kind of silly, since _they're_ forcing _their_ beliefs onto _you_ about that going into the boy's bathroom is "inappropriate" and that what you identify as is not valid and such. Smh...
To be honest I’m shit at pronouns so my solution is to assume everyone’s just a bunch of bees operating a human and this has worked so well. just thought I’d share that because I don’t wanna misgender people even if it’s an accident
I'mma tell y'all about my fellow NB friend Avery When we first met I got a crush. But it sucked because I didn't know what I was crushing on. Their hair was short and white-blonde, they always wore overalls and the colors were like denim and yellow. Their voice was pretty neutral, and they were flatchested(7th grade, hadn't gone through puberty) and I had to listen for a solid MONTH for someone to say he or she. Mind you, I had no idea what NB was. They ended up rejecting me when I asked them out (Just got out of a relationship, needed time), but we still good close friends now. When I told them that story, their mind was blown. They'd achieved true androgyny before they even knew they were NB. And I think that's beautiful.
"I didn't know what I was crushing on" I relate to that so hard, and used to strive for that, which I have since acknowledged is an unrealistic goal, due to the excessive amount of testosterone that has been flooding my veins at increasing levels for 22 years.
That's perfectly fine! Your gender and your gender expression can be the same, different, or anything in between! If you do bind, however, just remember to be safe and take breaks if you need it :)
Ah, I really needed this! I've only been out as non binary for a bit and today I had my first not so great interaction... Someone called me broken, said that there's only two genders and asked me what's in my pants. I starting to feel bad for being non binary.
You are a female. Unless you’re actually trans, as in female to male, you’re a female. Being non-binary is the funniest crap I’ve ever heard and you’re a joke for identifying as one
I have a plan to send my mom pictures of chest binders and... Stuffs... To hint that I prefer they/them pronouns. She's very supportive and not at all homophobic or transphobic but I just wanna have a little fun.
I told my mom about binders and that they can flatten your chest if you don't wanna do surgery and she just said "you want one, don't you?" And I just responded yes and she said "I can't get you one right now since they're a bit pricey but maybe soon." **Happy dance intensifies**
I don'r know if my parents are homophobic or transhobic. When someone on the TV is talking about trans or gay people they change the channel or ignore it. The last time i talked to my mom about trans people she said that it was a bad thing, but we were watching a movie and a character said that she was lesbian and she didn't care
I came out to my mom as non-binary and she said “that’s confusing, explain more?” After I actually I explained she said “oh that’s a cool way to be” and I almost started to crying happy tears 😭
@@nothanks673 yeah i most definitely agree trust me, so that's why i like to put feminine and masculine in "" to emphasize that the fact that clothes are labeled that is stupid and made up by society
I have a genuine question, how can you be nonbinary and a lesbian? Isn't the term, "lesbian", used to describe _females_ who are attracted to other females? Nonbinary people aren't females and instead don't have a gender, right?
as an afab feminine presenting enby, it really annoys me when people say I can't be non binary because I "don't look like one" NON BINARY PEOPLE DON'T OWE YOU ANDROGYNY OKAY 🤚😃
Ugh it is SO hard to explain being NB to my friends because when they think of trans they think of boy ---> girl Or girl ---> boy And they cant get girl ---> non binary (Which is me) And my friend thinks im over exaggerating because I asked her to respect my pronouns and not constantly deadname me on purpose even though it makes me uncomfy
It's a bit of a jerk move but you could use the opposite pronouns for that friend (who doesn't understand why the wrong pronouns make you uncomfortable) and they'll pretty quickly correct you, and you can then point out that that's what they've been doing to you. It might help them understand why respecting pronouns are important. And for the others not understanding things you could find some resources online that may better explain these things to them, it might help :)
I love that you use your platform to spread awareness and amplify people’s voices! (and not just talking about this one video lol) Could you possibly do a nonbinary transfem compilation if you haven’t already? I feel like they are definitely underrepresented
My biggest achievement as a non-binary is that i can make everyone question my gender. I go by he/him mainly but i don't mind she/her or they/them pronouns either. And y'all i attract people like a magnet, I'm living for this shit. I'M AN UNSTOPPABLE SUCCUBI.
Thanks Mr. Demon for teaching me LGBTQ+ meanings. I want to learn what the sexualities/genders mean to help support people with those sexualities/genders.
As a Christian I just want to say, Jesus does love you, so do I, I want you guys/all to feel safe and happy in your body(and life) non-binary=a person who's just different- lgbtq+ as a whole = people who deserve safety and love just as much as anyone else.
This is the first video abt nonbinary I watched since I came out and because I'm so fed up with the constant misgendering at work. Thank you so much for spreading all of this positivity and care and just amazing people 🥺 This really warmed my heart and I have tiny happy tears in my eyes.
I'm a cis girl and I've always felt like a girl. But I experience chest dysphoria and I really like presenting androgynous. I don't care whatever pronouns people call me. Does that make me trans or non-binary? I'm confused because people say I'm non-binary even though I like being called a girl and I'm comfortable with she/her pronouns. Please help me out.
While experiencing dysphoria or wanting to dress differently doesn't inherently make someone trans/nonbinary, the two together would put you somewhere on the enby spectrum, maybe demi girl? And please remember that you don't have to use they/them pronouns to be nonbinary, you can use whatever pronouns you see fit.
I'mm not sure if I'm nonbinary or genderfluid yet, but I definitely don't identify as a girl. I don't like she/her pronouns or being called a girl but I like my girl parts and boobs and looking feminine and stuff so I feel you lol If you identify as a girl then you're a girl! You don't have to be girly or like your girl parts to be a girl, you are what you identify as and you are what you feel you are I understand the feeling and I realize that it doesn't matter what you like, wear, etc. It's what you want, what you feel, what you identify as!
Imo, you can dress/present pretty much the way you want regardless of whether or not you want to be identified as any particular label, if someone asks or something then it might be easier to explain if you were comfortable saying "oh well I'm non binary so I like being androgynous" but if you don't identify as such and its just that you feel more comfortable in those clothes then whatever feels best. If it were me, I wouldn't likely label myself non-binary if I still felt completely feminine in identity and perspective, but wearing andro. clothes doesn't make you less of a girl in itself.
I made a bracelet that I wear that says “they / them” so my friends don’t forget but since I can’t find the bead I need to make one that has my name I have a feeling they are still gonna say the wrong name- [the friend that messes up my name doesn’t purposely do it, I can tell because he normally uses it correctly but forgets and calls me the wrong name and my friend always points it out and whispers to me “he just called you *my dead name* “ and all I say is “I know it’s fine he’ll figure it out”]

Warning: I basically tell my whole life story and it’s pretty boring :) I’m AFAB, and legit everyone calls me a girl and uses she/her pronouns when really i’m in the closet hiding the fact that i’m non-binary, i only have 5 friends and only trust 2 of them so those two know that i want to be identified as non-binary and respect my decision, they also use my preferred pronouns even when around others but people always correct them saying “*she/her” which is pretty annoying. I’ve always hid my chest which to my mum isn’t a big deal because the first bras she got me were sports bras and just thought that i felt more comfortable when i wear them instead (which i do but that’s all my mum knows, she doesn’t know my whole non-binary thing) the reason i haven’t came out is because even though i’ve felt like this for 2 years, i’m just not ready to tell them because of how things are in my family (everyone is supportive when it comes to sexuality but from what i know, my family don’t know any non-binary’s/genderfluid/genderqueer/transgender/etc personally)

Today's been a horrid day for me but the one thing that actually made it liveable was when I finally FINALLY came out as non-binary. I had been questioning for months and I finally decided I don't need a gender. I told my mom and my dad about it and now I'm so proud to be able to say "hello! My name is Finn, I use they/them pronouns and I live in an accepting household"
Okay funny story: I was watching a video giving advice and tips for playing a non binary character in a video game. I noticed at one point the person got their pronouns wrong, so I pointed that out in the comments. Keep in mind that this is still going on. Someone replied with something along the lines of “Dude, who cares?” I proceeded to tell them that it made some people more comfortable, and I told them that if it’s an accident that they messed up the pronouns, it’s alright, as long as they fix their mistake and try to get it right. They gave me a lecture about how it’s “Harder for people to use grammatically” and they proceeded to go on about how they were fine with people being open and supported when it comes to sexualities, but they thought it was hard for people to change their perspective of someone and use they/them pronouns. I told them that “It just makes some people more comfortable” Then pointed out the fact that they seemed to be using They/Them pronouns for the person they referred to, so everyone basically, and seemed to have no problem with doing so. They have yet to reply to the message, but I wanna see their reaction so bad.

Fun fact (idk who’s gonna see this but wtvr): There are corsets out there that do the same thing as binders, EXCEPT, hurt your back (these corsets *support* your back so it won’t hurt after some time of binding)

You don't have to be a genius to be intelligent. Having an open heart, accepting others as they are, respecting others that are different than you, and keeping your mind open is absolutely intelligence. Hugs.
Fern, as a young non binary teen, thank you for your messages. It honestly makes me so happy to know that some older people try their best to understand others in the trans and enby spectrum. I'm still anxious about coming out as enby to my family but I'm so glad that even some older people will accept me. Thank you so much Fern for your kindness. Best of luck and have a great day xx

If you can't wear binders for whatever reason then i have some tips
Sports bra's they are much more comfortable and they do make you a bit flat not as much as a binder would and do not work if you have big boobs
Loose shirts they arent as effective as binders or sports bras but if you dont have big boobs you should be fine
Layered clothing so this would be an alternative to loose clothing and a bit more effective do not wear this in the summer if you live in a hot place like arizona for your own safety if you have big boobs this may be the best one for you
"much more comfortable"

I'mma tell y'all about my fellow NB friend Avery
When we first met I got a crush.
I'm a cis girl but I wonder if I should get a binder. Sometimes, I just wanna present more masculine.
That's perfectly fine! Your gender and your gender expression can be the same, different, or anything in between! If you do bind, however, just remember to be safe and take breaks if you need it :)
That's pog! Go for it! Also remember to bind safely :)

"The NB in Non-Binary stands for NUMEROUS BEES"
Ugh it is SO hard to explain being NB to my friends because when they think of trans they think of
boy ---> girl
Or
girl ---> boy
And they cant get
girl ---> non binary
(Which is me)
And my friend thinks im over exaggerating because I asked her to respect my pronouns and not constantly deadname me on purpose even though it makes me uncomfy

If they identify as non-binary how does it hurt anyone? By finding their identity they’ve already figured out a lot more crap then most people have to
@@nullandvoid42 Agreed, they are officially non-binary. I support all pronouns. There are more than just she/her and he/him.
I don't like she/her pronouns or being called a girl but I like my girl parts and boobs and looking feminine and stuff so I feel you lol
If you identify as a girl then you're a girl! You don't have to be girly or like your girl parts to be a girl, you are what you identify as and you are what you feel you are
I understand the feeling and I realize that it doesn't matter what you like, wear, etc.
@Franco Cavalli so your not supporting non binarys?
@Franco Cavalli oh I understand, sorry for the misunderstanding.
Me realizing that it isn't normal to slouch while walking around my own house as to hide my chest because I'm uncomfortable with it:

My name is Finn, I use they/them pronouns and I live in an accepting household"

Okay funny story:
I was watching a video giving advice and tips for playing a non binary character in a video game.
I noticed at one point the person got their pronouns wrong, so I pointed that out in the comments.
Keep in mind that this is still going on.
Someone replied with something along the lines of “Dude, who cares?”
I proceeded to tell them that it made some people more comfortable, and I told them that if it’s an accident that they messed up the pronouns, it’s alright, as long as they fix their mistake and try to get it right.
They gave me a lecture about how it’s “Harder for people to use grammatically” and they proceeded to go on about how they were fine with people being open and supported when it comes to sexualities, but they thought it was hard for people to change their perspective of someone and use they/them pronouns.
I told them that “It just makes some people more comfortable”
Then pointed out the fact that they seemed to be using They/Them pronouns for the person they referred to, so everyone basically, and seemed to have no problem with doing so.
They have yet to reply to the message, but I wanna see their reaction so bad.
Did they ever respond?
