Yeah, I remember having one random with 2 of my friends. Good guy, but everytime someone died he'd call them in mere seconds after the death happened even tho he was across the map.
I love that these tips were actually small things that typically won’t get mentioned in other “TOP 10 HELLDIVERS 2 TIPS” which end up just being ways to chase the meta
Ill be honest, im for sure guilty of spawning in reinforcements across the map. Good to know more about etiquette, i rly do want to be a team player. Thanks man
You can also cut their jump slash with a projectile that has any knockback, they may continue on the leaping path without the landing slash attack, or they may fall to ground instantly with a flinch.
@@midendthis is literally the only use I have for the lib concussive, and it's very good at this one specific thing. Would probably be better with a pump shotgun.
One important tip I like to say is to (except for maybe eats/commando), generally never double up on backpacks/support weapons. If someone else is bringing a backpack or support weapon, and you want to use it as well, they can drop you it once it comes off of cooldown! Effectively giving you an **extra** stratagem, which is **very** powerful.
It's a great strategy, but experiences in quickplay may vary. I've asked teammates if they could drop extra gear that was off cooldown and been met with utter radio silence.
Handy Tip -- what early players rarely use, press Q to pin Objectives and enemies. That allows you and your teammates to see Objectives on the map and know about enemies or patrols around.
Glad to have you back! Great video summarizing tips for new players. The only thing I would think to add would be for players collecting samples (especially the rare and/or super variety) to consider dropping them at Extract or with the rest of their team before they run off to some distant corner of the map to do something. Saves everyone a lot of grief knowing that they can grab the samples just before boarding Pelican 1 instead of having to run to the other end of the map to get them.
Some additional tips! 1) If you are running the shield backpack and a strategem lands on your shield, you can drop your shield for a higher chance of survival. 2) In the same drop menu you can drop samples. If you are going to lone wolf something (or if you are at extraction) you can drop off samples to reduce the risk of them ending up unretrievable due to the unfortunately placed ravine, deep water, or bottomless hole.
Can confirm, there's been a couple times I've had a sample container full of rares lost because I didn't take the time to drop them at shore before testing whether a pond was fordable or not.
the melee bug tip is a game changer for me. The broods and the hunters are the #1 reason I don't play bugs as much, but knowing the melee can stun both is massive
@@01100101011100100111use muscle enhancement whenever toh play bugs. You won't be slowed. Also, shoot/aim a 1 handed weapon to while running forwards to shoot backwards. This will lower the amount of times you need to melee.

I love the reinforcement points. I usually play in a group of three with my buddies, I’m the lone wolf and when someone dies I’ll ask before I call in anyone. Comms are always best if people are on them, the added communication of I want XXXXX to call me in is huge since they can plan and prep for what they’re walking into.
I wanna make a quick personal addendum to the reinforce etiquette: If you're in a full team and you die during a big and intense fight, please don't immediately spam your reinforce reminder button if you're not reinforced in like 2 seconds from your death; use your death cam to check your teammates' statuses to see if anyone has a free moment to call you in (unless you have a super Helldiver in your team who can reinforce in less than a second lol), and if someone isn't getting swarmed/shot at, then you can remind them Also, even if you don't have a mic the text chat is just as useful if you need to ask someone to reinforce you in a certain area or if you want to confirm with the person who needs to be reinforced you can call them; this is definitely a less important thing, but comms in any way in this game are very appreciated
For reinforcing, if reinforcing during a breach or drop or whatever, reinforce behind you, not into the enemies, you will likely just get that diver killed, unless they specifically ask to be reinforced into the thick of it or onto a bile or whatnot.
I never completed a full diff 9 Helldive Operation until i was lvl 60 or higher. I dont understand how i find lvl 27 people now in diff 10. But it seems like they got carried there. Their missions i join have 10 minutes left with no objectives completed. I feel like they are doing a disservice to the people who play their own difficulty. But thank you for explaining some basics like reinforcement etiquette for new ppl. Really annoying even with lvl 100+ players. People seem to have just a makro for the reinforcement stratagem and they instantly throw it wherever they stand.
Something I've noticed is people aren't marking heavies, you can even prolong it by tagging a heavy that's already marked. It adds invaluable situational awareness. Also for democacy's sake, if you're doing difficulty 7-10 bring 1 or 2 things that can deal with heavies. The amount of games that fell apart because I was the only one that could kill a heavy is insane.
Resupply etiquette is a subset of reinforcement etiquette. Are you a group of four and it's been a fight or two? Call it in and only take one, no big deal. Are you alone and your three teammates are all red on their status bars? Don't call it in, prioritize POIs to replenish. The only exception is if you arrive at an objective first and anticipate their arrival shortly. Are you split up in twos? Depends on the situation, but only one unscripted breach/drop can spawn at a time so give it to that duo if you didn't have to fight. You likely won't need it because you didn't face that fight anyway. Bonus tip: If you drop at extract, no harm in throwing down a resupply immediately. It places it on cooldown and you are guaranteed to use that resupply at some point, maximizing usage.
Make a video on how to have fun in the game again because I need that I take the game too seriously and I'm too efficient with missions but if I try to not tryhard missions I die and thats not fun Also what is the chill Helldivers main theme remix music in the background
I had a dive where t was 2 and 2. I died, got brought back by the other team, looked the guy that'd called me in dead in the eyes, then suicided with grenade pistol.
If i see a helldiver who brings something that will most likely team kill me, I'll avoid that person and end up 'lone wolfing' it, but when they die and they hit that 'revive me' button ill bring them back if I notice it's been a while. As a bot diver a DCS and a recoilless with the big iron goes a long way.
Good vid! Only thing I could suggest is on that last one, show some pics of what that certain rock looks like on the mini map, too. It always has a certain... shape and coloration... It has a consistent appearance, is what I'm trying to say.
I'd love to see a guide on how to read the map properly😅 I mean SAM sites at Illuminates are easy to read, but on automatons I really struggle. Also I had a diver by my side, he was so good in spotting gunship fabricators on the map
I've been able to kill a Warrior with only unbuffed melee, it's tricky but it's kind of like the inverse of the punching pinkies in doom 1/2 trick. Punch and step forward, do that until it dies, ofcourse if there are other bugs then it isn't really going to work. On the Friendly Fire point, I've had bots accidentally throw their grenade into the vent of the fabricator that made them, it's a bit of a fluke but it hilarious and awesome that it can happen.
its so weird to me that everyone in super helldive/helldive lobbies are all like lvl 85+ I haven't seen anyone near my level (35) in all my time playing
Last Night I had this scenario: went to an SOS on 6 or 7. I was lonewolfing, the other three were at the main objective. One of them died. I waited, was clearing a bug breach. 10 seconds went by till the guy signaled to come back in the game. I reinforced him. I don't know what they were doing.
I cannot get power steering cuz it requires purple samples and there is no way i can get those . it was struggle to get orange ones to get all upgrades that require just those .

PSA; meleeing is NOT recommended against the bots, any unit above devastators and berserkers WILL NOT GET STAGGERED by your melee and will more likely than not melee you back
I’m going the opposite way lately, I’ve been getting tired of playing level 10’s with randoms, it’s honestly pot luck if you complete the mission or not because everyone just does their own thing and doesn’t communicate, so I play 6’s and 7’s at least the noobs talk to me 😋
Devs need to allow squad leaders to set a min level requirement to join their matches. Too many inexperienced players are ruining level 8, 9, 10 matches. You can't use auto-matchmaking anymore because the SOS beacons are mostly squads like this who have already spend most of the replacement budget. There's no shame in reducing the difficulty until you're better, and everybody will have a better time.
Another tip on resupplying, the supply pack is easily one of the best backpacks in the game, as it allows you to supply on the go, and doubles the effectiveness of the resupply stratagem, as the backpack user gets supplied, AND refills the backpack when resupplying. As of posting, there's a bug where it doesn't refill stimms for some reason

also, pick up the fucking samples. cant tell you how many times im the only one in the mission grabbing them, only to die and have another divers grab them, ONLY for them to die across the map with no plans to grab the lost equipment and samples

Yep. Open your map every time someone dies to see if you’re the closest diver and for the love of god don’t throw someone in across the map
Do not throw someone into fire, gas, MINES, water, a hole, or 1700 Terminids. -_-
