    i just discovered your channel the other day. you got some good stuff here man. i like me a good tier list video! you should make a video about hulks vs chargers, or bile titans vs harvesters, or something. just to kinda see what they would do to each other rather than what we do to them. idk it might be silly but sounds fun

    Important to note that unlike the purifier, you can charge the loyalist while walking, which I find makes a much bigger difference than I expected.

      You can charge the purifier while walking but if you mean running then yes you can charge the loyalist

      @ Yes that's what I meant. I find that makes it a lot more useful against anything that gets up close like the Terminids. With the purifier I always end up getting overrun and blowing myself up.

    As a Quasar main on bugs, I have found having a Stun nade extremely valuable, got use to the timing, so can basically have a charger stop right in front of me and I blow it up easy. Also great for saving friends on a clutch too. But yes, but itself it is not so great, but in the right combo I give stun nades a S-tier for those that value 'utility', like CC during geology missions for a final few button push.

      you typed out specific reasons why weapon pairing and mission type are important for stuns vs gas just does cc with damage, making it the actual utility option and rightfully in S. stun in A is not a knock on your playstyle but you have to understand its playstyle specific

      Stun Grenades are strong but with Thermite and Gas being so strong, it's pushed them down since we have more options. Still very good grenades.

      @Geneviese true. Gas got good. Why stun when can confuse and damage. So I do think gas better. (Can take holes too)

    Ever since they buffed the blast damage and the flame duration on the regular incendiary grenade I switched from the impact version. Less easy to kill yourself with it too and the timer is pretty instant, so when swarmed I just throw it under me and run away while getting chased.
    That said, your praise of the gas grenade has really spiked my interest in getting the Chemical Agents warbond which is the only one I haven't gotten. Especially since you mention it's synergy with the Napalm airstrike for breaches.
    And man, I hope they buff throwing knives soon. And great videos by the way, keep this up my dude!

    Hey thank you for all these useful informative videos. :)
    I just wanted to give some thoughts and maybe get some feedback. From my experience the frag grenade is an underrated grenade.
    I’m not sure if I’m not using them right but when running the impact grenades they will not one shot bile spewers, hive guards and alpha commanders but tossing a cooked frag grenade will one shot them and in a larger area.
    I usually use my nades to deal with those targets and my support weapon and stratagems for heavy units. That said the impacts do reliably kill chargers and gas crowd controls well so I agree there.

      The impact grenade can 1 shot them if you aim at the green part of the sides or at there heads. throwing at the heads will have the best results

      Thank you for the reply, I’ll have to practice my tossing a bit on the spewers and hive guards.
      My preferred loadout at T7-T9 is:
      Cookout, Verdict, Frag
      Engineer Armor (so I get 7 Frags)
      Recoilless Rifle, Napalm Barrage, 500kg and the Gatling Sentry

      Might I suggest trying out the Machine Gun Sentry since it have a very low cooldown. It's up every fight.

    The nade pistol has just way too much utility to justify taking anything else. I always feel naked without it.

    Armor: Medium Engineering Kit
    Eagle Strafing Run
    Orbital Gatling Barrage
    Supply Pack
    Railgun
    Experimental Infusion
    What would you swap out?

      @@keenshibe7529 I know this is probably meant for GV, but I hope it’s ok if I chime in as well. Please ask me to delete if you’d like.
      Looks like a good loadout - I’d personally swap cookout with Breaker Incendiary (only because you’re using supply pack). Setting things on fire, much faster fire rate - spam the gas grenades and just spray some rounds into the cloud, and you’ve killed a toooon of things. And the biggest reason I suggest this is JUST because of the supply pack. You’ll have more things to benefit from the resupply with the breaker and spamming the grenades.
      I’d also swap the medium armor for the light armor variant - the run speed difference is big enough (without the running booster) that I’m able to give myself some room to stay out of a swarm more often than not.
      I’ve got some changes I’d make if this was a solo build, but stim pistol insinuates that it’s a group build. I’ll have to give it a shot as you’ve got it! Looks fun!

      Also I read somewhere that having light armor does not benefit from stam booster as it is capped, like how vitality booster does not benefit heavy armor? Or is that just misinformation or outdated?

      @ you are correct about the stamina booster - if you’re on a team that has stamina booster, the medium armor is ALMOST as fast as the light armor, which helps it dramatically. That medium to light swap was more based on if you didn’t have that booster, but with that booster the medium is much more able to buy you some space.

      I did play some runs with the build and realized the incin breaker really struggles without the stagger for alpha commanders and stalkers.
      I'll probably go:
      Primary: Cookout
      Secondary: Stim Pistol
      Grenade: Gas Grenade
      Armor: Light Med Kit
      But GV's build would be most optimal since it can deal with heavies well without the railgun plus closing bug holes from a distance.

    I will say that while the throwing knife in general isn't great, it's downright amazing against illuminate if you can hit your throws. One taps any overseer to the head or 2-3 to a body while stagger locking them. Good for getting a couple voteless off your back as well

    Agree but minor thing is I think you underrated the humble Frag grenade, yes I never use it against bugs either because there are SO much better grenades with Thermite/Gas but the fact you get 5 frags makes it a viable "I want to pop bug/squid bases"-option as well as just in general letting you be more liberal with your grenade use against enemy groups which it is very well suited for. If I wanted to be able to take out bug holes without my primary or secondary able to do that I would probably go with these, Gas can also do it but at the same time it is not at all rare that they do not work forcing you to throw a 2nd Gas into the nest.. its annoying, not sure if its desync or the explosive radius/force just being too small to consistently do it.
    I know its not for this video but against the Squids its probably S tier, at least until we get more of their heavier units to fight against. Thermite is not that great so the only real competition is Gas but Frags do wonders with the hoards too and are amazing against shields with the shrapnel, even quite decent against flying Overseers as long as they are not too far away from the grenade ofc, I think it has 10m explosion radius + shrapnel so its AoE is good.
