"I see a line of cars and they're all painted black With flowers and my love, both never to come back I see people turn their heads and quickly look away Like a new born baby, it just happens every day". The Rolling Stones are one badass rock-n-roll band and have been since 1962! "Play With Fire", "Get Off My Cloud", "19th Nervous Breakdown", "Mother's Little Helper" are the names of a few hits from their earlier years. "2000 Light Years From Home" marked their foray into psychedelia. So many great tunes from the Stones. Gimme Shelter is possibly my favorite, sympathy for the devil, wild horses, ruby Tuesday, mother's little helper, as tears go by...
I believe The Rolling Stones started in 1962 by Brian Jones and Keith Richards. Brian was the one who brought in novel instruments to the songs, i.e. sitar, lute, flute, harpsichord are just a few. My favorite songs are "Ruby Tuesday", "2000 Light-Years from Home", "Jumping Jack Flash", and "Monkey Man". A band called Psychic TV has a song called "Godstar" which is about the lead singer meeting Brian Jones as a teen. It also dwells on the conspiracy theory that Brian Jones was murdered with Jagger and Richard's agreement.

Always loved this record. Older sister was a fan and I played this endlessly on mum’s radiogram in the 70s.
They were very young when they wrote many of their classics. Some astonishingly mature lyrics in many of those songs.
One of the songs with more vibe and airplay during the Vietnam War. Still iconic today as it was back in the 60's. Great choice.
I think the Beatles became popular in 63 and the Stones 64. LOVED all their songs
Brian!❤️💔🖤🖤. He deserved a writing credit on this. Contributed lyrics and arrangement.
always makes me think of tour of duty, which proves that it was the perfect song for the serie
60's the best music bands
So good to see you enjoy this song and get INTO THIS SONG -
This song was used in several tv-series and movies, Tour Of Duty and Full Metal Jacket, ....
If you've been around for a while, young man, and you've lost someone close to you and then maybe another...only then will you begin to appreciate the honesty, the accuracy, and the unflinching savagery of the truth that the Stones capture in this great song...
One of Londons best groups of all times really great choice jay. So many songs it's hard to choose. Good reaction Jay. Just love them 😊😊💖💙
This is one of my all time favourites. Classic!
the Name of the Instrument that you mentioned is *“Sitar”* (the Egyptian sound that you told) and actually, is a INDIAN Instrument 🇮🇳
very used by *The* *Beatles* in their Songs after *George* *Harrison* introduce in the Harmonies and by some 60's Rock Bands.
Great band 🥰⭐️
I agree
JayveeTV they have so many great songs China Grove , Black water listen to the Music 🎵 you’ll just have to play them 😊
Good review - also, how cool is this lyric video!? IDK that I've ever seen that much nice work put into one - rad!
*Brian Jones. He is part of the club of 27* (celebrities who died at that age) It was the most experimental of the Stones, the one that played rare instruments for rock: the mandolin, the Hindu zither, the dulcimer, the marimba, the mellotron, the harp or the tubular bells. 😱 Several of the group's first-stage riffs belong to him, as do most of the arrangements with curious instruments. 😭 Brian Jones passed away on the night of July 3, 1969, *when not even a month had passed since Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts appeared at his house to inform him that he would no longer be part of The Rolling Stones*
So many great tunes from the Stones. Gimme Shelter is possibly my favorite, sympathy for the devil, wild horses, ruby Tuesday, mother's little helper, as tears go by...
I was in a club of my own, I never like the Rolling Stones, but I thought this was their best song.
Anyone notice? In the new Westworld series. They played this tune on the player piano in the saloon.
I always thought this song belongs in summertime I don't know why and also I like the song Mama's Little Helper
Its Mothers Little Helper. =)
@@axiomist1076 ok knew I probably had it wrong
Not much of 'Stones fan but this song is impossible not to like.
This knocks today's music right out cold
