I really love how Mental Omega builds Yuri as a character in its intertwined storyline, rather than just some flat villain in the vanilla. And because it's intertwined, there is weight and real tension, giving each team their own tech based on what they had acquired from their enemies.
This story line of yours about MO is coming to a close. Thank you for featuring my maps and the support you have given me till now friend. Goodluck on the grand ending.
7:15 Yuri: *_"The Epsilon with Sigma rizz."_* And so we're coming even closer to the final battle(s). The World holds its' breath and waits. And so are we until the next episode. Thank you, Psyminette!
If you told me, when you started making your Mental Omega lore videos, that I'll be laughing like a supervillain in one of them, I wouldn't have believed you. Keep up the good work, Lord Psyminette, and may the madness never stop.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the cinematography here? The display of each point of interest, the flow of the story, the comedic timing, the composition of events leading up to a moment of hype, everything is incredible!
What a way to end off the year, I was so looking forward to you covering the endgame of the story. And as for 5:00... the Allies will learn very soon enough that will become their ultimate undoing...
That slow incomplete camera pan at the end towards the literal world dominator is CINEMA. Great job as always, Psyminette, can't wait for the rising penultimate and the continuation of the current act when the Mental Omega devs finishes and releases them too.
I have discovered you with your Red Alert 2 Deathless Runs and now you have done Mental Omega's story videos. Which are very great and a joy to watch and something very needed imo to explain the story without reading the many many briefings in the mod. I hope the mod's dev team know this and acknowledge your good work. I am now eager to the finales for each factions in MO's Act 2. Keep up the good work, Commander/General/Proselyte/(whatever Foehn's commanders name are described with) Psyminette.
Tactical Nuke: I'm the most feared explosive! MIDAS: No, I'M! stranger: amateurs... Tactical Nuke and MIDAS: What was that, punk? Explosive barrels: AMATEURS!
From 17:16 ontward, I was tearing up with the combination of the music, the Paradox Engine voice lines, and just the entire atmoshphere 🥲 Great job as always Psy o7
Even though I've played this campaign a couple months ago and finished Act 2 because of this series, I still have MO's site open on one of my tabs waiting to see updates on Act 3. It's just so damn captivating! The Allies reduced to a roaming band of destruction with their paradox engine; the Soviets rallying to take back control of their homeland and invade the moon (SPACE); The Foehn Revolt splintering off and gathering like-minded allies for the fight to come; Yuri putting together his ultimate plan and putting his hopes into Libra and the Proselyte... This is truly the almost perfect Yuri's Revenge that we never could have hoped for and yet these masterminds pulled it off. Possibly the best RTS campaigns I've had the pleasure of playing.
Wow..... When you ignore how awesome everything that is happening, Mental Omega is really brutal man. This is truly a global war. No area is left untouched, even an icy wasteland like Antarctica. The Soviets, Allies, and not to mention all the neutral states like Singapore suffered immensely. Every battle we saw usually ends up totally leveling the entire area regardless of who's the victor. The territories with constant fighting like the USA, Europe, and Russia proper are all reduced to ashes. Few dare fathom the horrors unfolding in the territories under Epsilon Army control. The casualties have to be in the hundreds of millions at the lowest, not to mention probably a Billion people or more are displaced/homeless.
@@LunaPPK very easily so once the conclusion hits: Nearly everyone on earth got mind controlled and those that have natural immunities to it of both their own forces and whatever resistance groups remain are forcefully sent to the Grinders
Forget the casualties. The overwhelming usage of weaponry ranging from weather control, chrono, cryo, nuclear, genetic, and viral elements would be bound to inflict irreversible damage to the Earth's biosphere and ecosystem. I love that Yuri used himself to lure the Soviets as far as possible from Antartica, effectively making his defeat from the Vanilla game by the hands of both Factions impossible
If the Soviets actually pulled their heads out of their asses and took 5 minutes to assess the global situation, they would definitely notice the Allies were all fleeing south by the masses and ask themselves why. They had a global satellite network following the events of Earthrise and they didn't bother to look at the Southern Hemisphere...

Otherwise, part of me cannot help but think: Okay, so the Allies have become masters of Time, the Soviets the masters of Space, and Epsilon the masters of Mind. Speaking of Epsilon, I like the idea that each sub-faction had their own main base: Scorpion Cell in Bissau, PsiCorps on the Moon, and Epsilon HQ in Antarctica.
4:55 the allied really have no idea that they had committed a fatal mistake once again just like when they launched tv satellite. Just only one old chronosphere and chrono backpack can make them to the greatest downfall.
The Allies' heavy reliance on the PE only proves just how powerless they were without it. It took them THREE Time Freezes alone (the initial landing one, the one used to stop the Epsilon air armada, and one more to blitz the deeper frontline) to just merely breach the front line during the events of Insomnia.
@@SoldierOfFate Meanwhile, The Soviet army can destroy many heavy fortified Epsi bases despite the heavy losses and without technological marvel. That prove how strong the Soviet army is. But most unfortunately for them that they have completely blinded on revenge and didn’t know what they should really do.
@@masteryeexd6169The Soviets aren't immune to abusing the same tricks as the Allies either which is cybernetic in this case. Looks like we're nearing the final battle and the endgame of the act! Intense but I can't wait! Okay so it's great that the Allies have united all their forces around the globe and their major subfactions from both the US, Euro Alliance and PF Forces. So after their battle at the largest Epsilon base in Cape Town they made it as their base afterwards and proceeded to Antarctica to face the Epsilon in their primary stronghold which their ultimate challenge awaits and their final battle will take place there and of course the huge tower. At least the good news for the Soviets, they got a base of operations on the moon after they defeated the Epsilon forces there, so some of them are still fine up there, but I'm just hoping they'll be seen or mentioned again in the next act? Well at least their final battle will take place back at Moscow, good luck for them on taking down Yuri
