Unlikely to be added as a main faction. The development team consists of two people, and neither of us have played much RA3. Considering how much time it takes to create a faction (iirc Scrin took around 3 months of doing nearly-full-time-job hours), and how difficult balancing the existing factions is already, it has to be something we're highly motivated by. Top of the list for a 6th faction is GLA, which probably brings more diversity to the table since we already have plenty of high-tech factions.
Ah damn. It's supposed to be like a side-effect of the universes/timelines being mashed together, as well as being a nod to both TD (which had the static/channel hopping intro) and C&C Generals with its glitchy/zoomy "words like carpet bombing" intro.
Yuri is implemented as a subfaction of the Soviets (which works thematically since, after all, that's exactly what the Psi-Corps was founded as, and was throughout RA2). Generals USA and China have elements distributed across GDI, Soviets and Nod. So that leaves GLA and the Empire of the Rising Sun (honestly, my inclination for the latter would be to have a Japan subfaction for the Allies, but that would require adding new subfactions for everyone else too, which is rather more of an ask).
@@LordInsane100 While I'd like to see a bit more YR content, I really think Psi-Corps possibly works better than the original Yuri faction which felt a little gimmicky and limited for a full major faction.

They also have advanced aircraft and heavy infantry and a futurist lean. Allies focus on soft power. They are dedicated conservationists, being the only faction with both medics and mechanics. As they tech up, they don't get a lot of extra firepower, but get tons of options for debuffing the opposing force and have probably the strongest mixed composition in the game.
