Charlie Watts on drums. He quietly influenced millions of drummers around the world. Charlie was a tremendous jazz fan who didn’t listen to much rock music. But he was so very groovy, he set a standard for how drums sound on recordings. It can’t be duplicated with drum machines and computers. It’s a human development and instinct.
The "Some Girls" album would be a good candidate for a full album reaction. My favorite track is "The Girl With The Far away Eyes", a sort of Country-Western tune, but with very witty lyrics. And Jagger's delivery is on point. "Shattered" and the title track "Some Girls" were hits back in the day. The Stones performed "Beast Of Burden" on Saturday Night Live at the time, high ratings.
My favorite Rolling Stones song differs from day to day. But this one definitely ranks! Totally love it…Cause we all got that one out there, that this reminds us of. ✌🏼&❤️
Biz this album was the soundtrack to a drunken summer back in my teens. We used to sing the girl with far away eyes when they closed the bars we frequented. Aah youth!!
My mom even likes this song. I'm a Stones lover. Every year after Christmas, me and about 12 of my girlfriends from high school get together and have a Stones themed party called "Some Girls Do"...you can figure out what we DO! Haha! I love that we still make that effort and we are still passing a doobie and having drinks and laughing our asses off! I'm so glad you like this one! It is a beautiful song!
You are spot on… never enough. This song captures it. And of all the people to be saying it, Mick Jagger, giant female magnet pleading how he is not enough.
Great review 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 And … you will never be enough for the wrong person … but you will be more than enough for the right one 😉 Love ya fam 💞 💯KBiz 💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥
The Rolling Stones have their roots in black music and have admired them like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry ecetra. So there is a powerful, primitive, and serious feeling that cannot be felt in Beatles music. It was also considered by Otis Redding to be the only white group to do black music properly.
The Stones have a HUGE music catalog dating back to 1964. btw, a beast of burden is an animal (like a mule or donkey) used for carrying heavy loads or a horse pulling a wagon.
Bro! You always brighten up my shitty day when I put you on! You make me smile! Doesn’t hurt you are reacting to killer music. So Emotional Rescue is killer. Some called it The Rolling Stones try at disco. Maybe but when it came out disco was dead.
I agree with the comment right below...Here are some people are not always familiar with RIDE ON BABY, SINGER NOT SONG, WHAT TO DO...there are literally a zillion songs from the Stunning Stones..
Hearbreaker, , Jumping Jack Flash, Let it Bleed, Miss You, Not Fade Away, Start Me up, Street fighting man, under my thumb... Man you could on and on with the Stones.
Don't you think Jagger/Richards are like one of the most prolific songwriting duos Ever? It takes two, baby. Right up there with Lennon/McCartney, Page/Plant, Johanson/Thunders.(NY Dolls)
Check out Almost Hear You Sigh from Steel Wheels, it's another powerful song by the Stones and I think the last one with Bill Wyman- so after this, it's just Jagger, Richards and Watts as original members.
Short on time for tonight Biz so I can't comment fully like I want to, but just wanna pop in and say.... GREAT PICK from the Stones!!👊 This is my all-time favorite Rolling Stones tunes!!🤗 Be back to rewatch tomorrow.... if they don't block this sucker! lol!!!🤦♀🤞 Peace and light fam, and you ROCK Biz!!💯❤ P.S... In regard to what you said about women, while it's true that the trend right now with girls in the current generation is that they're looking for "more" and "better"/always trying to "level-up" as you put it..... but it also sounds to me like you may also just be looking in the wrong places or at the wrong kind of girls, for who you are as a person anyway. 🤷♀ If it's the right girl for real, not only will you know it.... she'll know it too. They'll be no need for convincing her, buying her shit and always trying to impress her. My advice: Don't "try" so hard.... let it happen naturally. Also, if you have to constantly impress and coddle a girl and her ego.... she's NOT worth it.🤦♀ Move along and the right one will come along. She'll be impressed without you having to do or say anything except be yourself!!💯 Just my thoughts.🤷♀😁
Great advice sis, but I’ve been trying to tell him that ish for a while now … he ain’t ready … I think he’s getting there though 😉 He’s still young and wants to just have fun and there’s nothing wrong with that … but I think we are starting to get through to him!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I know, I’m late … gotta get use to being back on here!!! 🤷♀️🤦♀️🤣 Love ya 💞🥰
@@Śħẽĩłã Yeah, you're right, he's still young and sometimes you just gotta live it and learn it! lol!!😅 Hoping he makes the connection between here and his outside life.🤷♀ To me, here on the channel.... he's clearly being himself in all his ridiculous, potty-mouthed, wiseass glory.... and we all LOVE him to pieces!!🥰 I'm hoping that'll translate to real-life for and him, and maybe save him a few of the headaches and heartaches that SOOOO many of us have suffered!! UGH!!!🤦♀ In any case, it doesn't hurt to offer up some of our HARD-EARNED wisdom every now and then! lol!!! Here's to hoping!!🤞Love ya too sis!!😘
Hey, Biz! A couple of people might have mentioned it already, but you really should check out the Stones song “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking?”. It’s fantastic! Keep up the good work.
I think you need to hear a little more of the stones especially the blues-tinged tracks like "love in vain" (live version) or something like "sister morphine" and "can you hear me knocking" which you've probably heard in some movies before. Best regards from Hamburg (Germany) @all
Did you know England made it illegal to sell slaves. They sent ships out constantly to stop the trade. . The States stopped after that too. Thomas Sowell, history
We had to buy Rock if we wanted to hear what they called hard core, that was Pink Floyd too. In Texas a radio station busted out called the ZOO , They we're sued taken off the air ,but they finally won they're air time. They still control a lot of music getting play
Great pick. Yeah, the Stones are a legendary band. So many great songs. Next up? Dude, Gimmie Shelter is probably my favorite from them. Regarding Brown Sugar, I agree with you. The lyrics are questionable. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I mean taken at face value, they’re questionable. Great sound, but it’s a hard one to sing along to.
wow so many songs that are fire. Like the Beatles who are part of my soul, they go way back and have a few different styles over their reign 😁 I've been a fan since their beginning. So hard for me to request BUT try some of their earlier ones too like ' Last Time', 'Under My Thumb'', 'Mother's Little Helper' They have a huge discography so it's hard to choose. Every album of theirs had a different flavor in their style. They will always to me hold the title of the 'Greatest Rock 'N Roll Band' in history.
“Wild horses”, “Fool to cry” “Angie” “Emotional rescue” “Sympathy for the devil” “Some girls” “Suzy Q”. So freakin many. You’ll never run out Biz.
All of the above👆 and SOOOOO many more!! (if they don't block them! lol!!🤦♀🤞)
Also Honky Tonk Woman, Paint it Black, Miss You
Don’t do emotional rescue there’s 100 better songs you could do
Never never never never run out biz
Tumbling Dice, Hand of Fate and Can't You Hear Me Knocking are all time faves
Charlie Watts on drums. He quietly influenced millions of drummers around the world. Charlie was a tremendous jazz fan who didn’t listen to much rock music. But he was so very groovy, he set a standard for how drums sound on recordings. It can’t be duplicated with drum machines and computers. It’s a human development and instinct.
Dude, every song on this album is fire. Please check out "Shattered" if you have time. It's a vibe.
Thanks for this reaction. Love it.
I’ve loved “ Shattered “ ever since I was a kid. “ Shadooby, , Shadooby, “ Lol
You'll also love their songs Miss You, Sympathy For the Devil and Paint it Black along with many others
When you hear tunes like this you wanna live forever! Perfection.
The Stones are another one of them groups that are hard to pick a favorite but this one has to be in the top! Great music, great reaction!😍😎💕
My favorite Rolling Stones song differs from day to day. But this one definitely ranks! Totally love it…Cause we all got that one out there, that this reminds us of. ✌🏼&❤️
I love this song, one of my favourites of all their masterpieces
When this album came out it took me a while to warm up to it. Now it is one of my favorite Stones albums, like every song! Thanks Biz!
This, jumping jack flash and gimme shelter are all bangers. My favorites.
Biz this album was the soundtrack to a drunken summer back in my teens. We used to sing the girl with far away eyes when they closed the bars we frequented. Aah youth!!
Love Far Away Eyes.. he needs to listens to You got the silver and Dead Flowers , Sweet Virginia, Loving Cup

Tammy you have good taste, some girls such a killer of an album, it and Tattoo You
@@donhanlon7121 Thanks man! Evidently, so do you! I still remember the first time seeing the Tattoo You album cover. So Cool!
It's great how much music brings different races together. I'm white and love Motown music.
You are spot on… never enough. This song captures it. And of all the people to be saying it, Mick Jagger, giant female magnet pleading how he is not enough.
This is my "go-to" Stones song. The absolute best Stones Song bar none!
Let’s not forget how funny Stones are
Love Mick Jagger,he don't give a damn. He's flamboyant,he shocks the band with his crazy dancing and gesture's. They just shake their heads
Love it!! Played it at my wedding
🤯 OMG‼BizMatik‼My fave Stones hit‼🔥
🎸💯 Thank you‼Thank you‼Thank you‼🐐
PLEASE do "Emotional Rescue" next‼☮ ❤ 🎶

Love yer comment Sheila😄
So True!
Do MISS YOU! (original version from the Some Girls album)

So there is a powerful, primitive, and serious feeling that cannot be felt in Beatles music. It was also considered by Otis Redding to be the only white group to do black music properly.
Mick knows things , also his dad was literally the Jack Lalane of England ✌
The Stones Will prevail. They never cared if you liked or not
Correct 💯
I'm a bass player, and this bass line is about as silky smooth as it gets.

Disco wasn't dead yet in NYC.
Never mind the lyrics. It is the groove of the song that is totally irresistible. The Stones at their best.
Great reaction to a timeless hit. Love that funky beat and my man just telling straight up he wasn’t gonna get simply used
I agree with the comment right below...Here are some people are not always familiar with RIDE ON BABY, SINGER NOT SONG, WHAT TO DO...there are literally a zillion songs from the Stunning Stones..
Some Girls is one of my favorite Stones albums, Goat's Head Soup is the other.
I agree. You Can't Always Get What You Want is a great song of theirs.
I fell in love with this song when it was released. Bette Midler jammed on her version also.
I agree. Bette Midler rocked this!
@@jenniferandrews1917 Yes she killed it!

Amazing
Love this one.
One of my favorite songs ever 💜
This was the song and album that got me into the Stones😍 This album and Exile On Main Street are great.
Pure audio magic
Check out Almost Hear You Sigh from Steel Wheels, it's another powerful song by the Stones and I think the last one with Bill Wyman- so after this, it's just Jagger, Richards and Watts as original members.
Biz Matik? Are you the great Biz Markie in disguise? I LOVE Biz Markie!
Some Stones songs to consider.....Sway, Hot Stuff, If You Can't Rock Me, Moonlight Mile, and Rocks Off are a good start. You'll love Star Star too.
I forgot to mention Bitch. It's another great one.
@@MrThumbs63 OOOOOH, I forgot about "Bitch"!! Such a good freaking song!!😍 Great suggestions!!👊
You should do every song on this album! My favorite is the country song Far Away Eyes
