That’s Mick Jagger mate! Those are the Rolling Stones, The greatest rock band on the planet and they’ve been playing together since 1962! They are on quite a run!
The smoothest rock band ever. Everything is exactly where it should be. There is only one Rolling Stones. Their sound will never die. This is rock and roll at its very best, and its exactly what rock should be.
That freaking kills me man!!!! These guys are good... That's The Stones man... Arguably one of the greatest if not THE greatest in the freaking rock world. Back when The Beatles were singing "I want to hold your hand" these cats were scaring the hell out of the squares and parents the way Alice Cooper did in the 70s... some people will say Led Zeppelin is the GOAT. Some say this, some say that, I'm a stones guy, saw them live on VooDoo Lounge tour in 92 or 93 maybe in Salt Lake, I think I might have been 19.... I'm only 47 and I don't know too many cats my age that dig the stones the way I do. I'm also a musician so I have a different kind of appreciation for all kinds of music rather than being a metal guy or a Hip Hop guy... The Stones are freaking legendary and have influenced so so many rock icons. That just really struck me funny. "These guys are good." That's like whats his name? Joe Dirt saying, "why's a tree good?" "Why are boobs good?" "They just are man!"
My favorite band hands down and Mick Jagger is my all time favorite singer together with Christina Aguilera! Both trailblazers, so unique, raw and sings with their whole soul + not giving a toss about what people think about them. Saw The Rolling Stones live in 2014 and 2017 with my mom who is a huge fan since she was a kid and they were just INSANE! Sooooo good. You should def check them out next time they are on tour!
"Sympathy For The Devil" is one that'll cause a pretty big reaction..... although the official video is necessary (and it's pretty cool) so you will better understand what's going on in the song!! It's a real thinker and powerful!! Mick Jagger (lead singer) is WELL known for his flamboyancy on stage!!! I'm a HUGE fan of live performances but for "Sympathy For The Devil"... the video will help you.... it packs a punch!! Great reaction!!!
@@elysehfm8797 SIDE NOTE: I was just a kid the first time I heard Sympathy For The Devil, in maybe '78 (at only 8 y/o), and I loved it and it's groove!!! I've loved it all through the years but it wasn't until I saw the video and the way they displayed the lyrics that I actually "heard" the message in the song!! Freaking powerful stuff!!
@@michaelgilbert197 I don't know HOW I did it, but I always understood those lyrics. I didn't know who Nicholas was, or troubadour, but I got the gist.
@@elysehfm8797 Ok, don't shoot me😅😅 but, I just watched Jayvee's Bowie "Heroes" reaction and.... I loved it!! Was it David's best vocal performance of the song.... absolutely NOT!! That being said, that performance was great and I love seeing the magic of the musicians while they're performing live! David was ADORABLE (and freaking HOT😍😁) in that video!! Jayvon really seemed to enjoy it and really appreciated seeing David just being himself (ie., just a human being like the rest of us).... don't be mad!!🙏😁😂❤
@@tinagilbert8902 but you can't POSSIBLY compare it to the studio version! It was like a high school band playing it! I'm not mad, but now YOU'RE the psycho!!! Lol.
i recommend sympathy for the devil or you can't always get what you want (the music videos, they're recorded the same day i think so they look similar) it's practically live and we get young mick! (and if youve already watched those i recommend midnight rambler live from marquee club 1971)
Nice reaction, man! As you now have found the Stones, give these a try: Sympathy For The Devil Live 1969 and 1989 in Tokyo. Miss You Live 1978. Living In A Ghost Town, their Corona Anthem. Sister Morphine Live 2015. And so on, there are so many Songs to discover!
Hey Jordon, Happy Sunday! How about dueling versions? Live Stones//studio Stones, same song? Just to see if it works out. Whatever artist, but two of the same song. I DARE you to do Beast Of Burden again!!! Double dog dare!
No debate as to whether or not James Brown was better than Mick Jagger; certainly in the 60's and 70's. There WERE a lot of drugs around, but nobody got THAT deranged. :) (Checkout the TAMI show they both performed on). This is not a dis of Jagger, he often names Brown and Tina Turner as early influence/inspirations, and of course he and the Stones developed their own genre-defining greatness out of those roots. They do have some foundational, transformative juju, so special it only appears fleetingly, but which completely justifies the hype. The video you watched here is the modern Stones. Funky clean and rather loose. Too cool to be completely professionally rehearsed, but absolutely on their game. And honestly, at the end of their peak. However, it took a long and interesting (if you like rock music) journey for them to get here. Favorites in their catalog are many, personal and subjective, but I'll mention two thoughts: 98% of the time the studio version is better, and then that for every hit-justifiably great as many of them are-there is a deep cut that is likely equal or better on that album. If you decide to take this journey, I hope you enjoy, and in any case, Much cheers, T
@@randycomerford2038 Oh I don’t think that’s true. His features are so unique that he elicits a very strong response from most people. They either think he’s gorgeous or uglier than sin. But whichever camp you fall in, he’s certainly hard to miss!

The Stones are considered the greatest rock and roll band in the world.
Jagger is a front man to for the ages. Early catalogue is BEST.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE BEAST OF BURDEN. The first Rolling Stones album I bought was Some Girls and Beast of Burden was one of my favorite tracks.
"The singer has left the Stage" Keith and Ronnie look like, Oh, it's over mate?

The singer is Mick Jagger.
Mick Jagger had a solo hit with Peter Tosh, a song called Walk and Dont look Back. A reggae tune.🎵
Jagger has a few solo hits but there duets with Lenny Kravitz, David Bowie and one with Carly Simon.❤
No, they're not just good...
They Are...
THE GREATEST TOURING ROCK & ROLL BAND WORLDWIDE OF ALL TIME!
" 'Nuff Said?"
Mick Jagger's dance looks good because he rides the rhythm

Good one, if you like live try Nightwish Wacken 2013 Ghost Love Score or any of the 15 songs they did there.
Listen to their 1981 live version from Arizona of this song if you can. It's even better than this performance.

I guess you are joking in your intro - I don't know who this guy is ?
Some Girls is a great album.
