    Why were you not using the point bit? Remember to keep good angle vs straight down.

    Thanks for the video. I bought this unit about 4 years ago and just now getting around to my projects...retired now 👍🏻. I've never used a jack hammer before and there was very minimal info with this one so of course I go to UA-cam... thanks again for the video.

    This saved me $3000!
    that was the quote i got to have a sump pump installed in my basement. Even after buying this and a 7" concrete saw blade for my circular saw and all the pump supplies to install and hookup, my cost was under 400$
    Started with the spike bit, then switched to the chisel point, the chisel seamed to work better. once it fully broke through the concrete it was much easier to crack off bigger chunks...
    For the money, this thing is awesome!...
    just dont forget to add the oil!

    I would take the advantage of starting off where its cracked, getting chunks instead of little small hand size amounts 👍
    Great video showing us what it does!

    I would like to see more on the jackhammer, particularly how much work you can do per hour, how long do the bits last, and how long can you use it before having problems with a sore back, fatigue, etc. I have some work like this coming up and I'm just beginning to plan it.

      That's a great idea for a video my friend. I'll see what I can do, but no promises. My schedule is pretty slammed for next couple weeks, but if I get some time I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

    Looking at digging up a part of crushed terracotta sewer line in my basement. Probably need to remove a section of concrete big enough to replace a 6 foot length of sewer line....this can do it?

    Do waterproof crawlspace in East Tennessee where the ground is hard. Got this delivered for $170. Beats two days of a rental. Great buy. We dig trenches. Break concrete over pours Can use around any house

    How would this work on asphalt? I'd think much easier. I have some asphalt driveway I'd like to rip up and this thing seems like it might do the trick.

    Looks like it’s a winner I’m not sure on it’s longevity of hard work ? But it looks like it will work for your jobs job and even if you need to rent one for a few days you should be ahead of the game I agree on having one for the price is a decent deal just being another DIYer over the years I’ve rented demolition hammers 3 or 4 times over the years ,so owning one would be a good investment to have around my home

    Thanks for the videos on this demo hammer. I just bought one, in part on your review. However, I'm having trouble finding an extension cord rated for 2200 watts locally. What are you using with it?

    I bought one of these to breakup a 12'x16' x8" slab. Steel reinforced 96 yo concrete garage floor (they don't make 'em like they used to). This thing beat the s**t out of me and took all day to break up half a square yard. This thing has it's limitations and so does this 71yo fart.

      Good point about the return policy. Hopefully, it holds together long enough. If it lasts until the slab is busted up I'm ahead.

      @@GettinJunkDone I am not experienced, but Im almost certain for that type of demo of concrete, you are supposed to use the pointed bit with a angle and it breaks up much faster. Perhaps after this initial start you found that to be the case or ...not?

  • @davidcrokettt6089
    @davidcrokettt6089 4 роки тому +4

    1. You need the 3600 watt for a job like that. 2. DON'T USE A JACK HAMMER AS A PRY BAR unless you hate your tool and want to break it.

  • @GhettoRanger01
    @GhettoRanger01 4 роки тому +2

    It's too small for that kind of work, rent the big yellow jackhammer, don't remember the brand but it'll make short work of a job like that.
