    Thank you for the video. The job I have to do involves breaking up some slabs and removing Pebble Tec. I intend to do it working a couple hours a day so renting would be too expensive and would put time/money stress on the job. My plan is to do it when I can with a tool I own then sell the tool for half what I paid for it when I'm done. Maybe I'll be able to find a good used one for half price and get to use it for free, I did that with an engine hoist and stand in the past.

      Thats a great plan! Hope I was able to help.

    Thank you for the review I was worried about buying such an inexpensive breaker that I only need for one ongoing project ( replace an old dog ear fence with concrete footings ) seems like this will work thank 👍🏾

      Hey bud, this would be perfect for that project provided you have a long enough extension cord. Should work great for you.
      Btw, I'll be talking about this in more detail during my Livestream this Sunday night, episode 48. Hopefully you can make it.

    Well after watching your second video on the Xtreme Power hammer, I'm confident it'll take care of my projects around the house... thank you.

    Thank you, it really helped seeing how you broke up that slab. I just bought one cheaper to buy it than it is to rent one in my area.

  • @django1364

    for concrete that size in thickness you should use the Pointed chisel

    • @django1364
      @django1364 3 роки тому

      @@EaterOfBaconSandwiches you will get a lot more work done before the pointed chisel is no longer pointy, I am guessing you have never used a pointed pencil. smh

    I have one on order. I already have low back pain, doing nothing, so I may not be able to use it much. I plan to use it more for digging than for breaking up concrete. I have hard rocky soil, so I will use it for making holes for planting trees -- have you done that in your landscaping business? Thanks for the video review.

      Hey Gary, I apologize for the late reply. This little machine is well worth the money. To answer tyour question, I haven't used it for that purpose, but i can see it being useful under the right conditions.
      BTW

    How do we stop the oil from running out after u put oil inside it

    • @GettinJunkDone
      @GettinJunkDone  Рік тому

      It will do that. Not really much you can do to stop it from happening. Just be prepared to top it off every so often.

    Can you make a seat for it? (To lessen back fatigue, just sit on it)?

    What type of oil should i use?

    • @GettinJunkDone
      @GettinJunkDone  4 роки тому

      I used heavy weight oil for motorcycles. It's what I had in the garage, but I'm sure the manufacture has a specific recommendation.

    Seeing the thickness of that slab? It's pretty impressive that you broke it up as quick as you did with all things considered.
    Most patio-type slabs were/are poured inside frames built from 2x4s, so the typical thickness most folks would encounter would be 3.5 inches.
    Great video, thank you!

    you sold a jack hammer today my man.

  • @LordLoMR2

    I bought the same Jack hammer. It works good, but I wish it had double handle bars and a place to hang weights on it. Lol.
    I’m 260 lbs and I can break 6-8” concrete slabs, but my brother who is 170lbs struggles with it. I suspect it’s because of our weight and strength difference. However, if he could hang 100lbs weight on it, probably break the concrete just as easily as I do. Lol

      I'm somewhere in the middle of you two and I found that it worked pretty good...for the price.
      Thanks for checking out the video. I'll be using your comment during my live stream this weekend, episode 42. Hopefully you can make it.

    I can’t stand watching people do demolition without gloves. Why?? Protect your hands people.
