- Ingredients I used
Saltfish/boil out salfish to get rid of the salt you want.
Bell peppers
Onion
Garlic
Tomato
Cucumber
Coconut oil/You can add any oil you prefer.
* If you want gravy in your salfish feel free to put more oil and about 1-2 tablespoons of water. Also, ripe juicy tomatoes produce naturally gravy mixed with the oil. - Навчання та стиль
I love the fact that you are making St Vincent Cuisines because St Vincent has a lot of delicious traditional dishes. Keep on making great videos like this.
Thank you I appreciate it. I will continue to make more videos.

This is one of the best salt cod recipes-I have made it several times
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Hi Sam....I love your cooking style, good job!!!..... here's a little tip for you, you can peel off the skin from the saltfish before boiling it, it gets rid of the salt quicker and you don't have to deal with the scale in the end
That makes so much sense. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.☺😚
Wow! I really love that your cooking area is clean and nice. Good job💯👍🏽. Thanks for sharing💕

Great job Sam love that recipe
Thank you dear!
Going to make some today with bakes!! We don’t cook the cucumber in it in Dominica but we have it on the side. I found the salt fish in the Spanish supermarket already cleaned and de-boned....not the pollock in the plastic bags but the actual cod!! I’m in heaven!! Ok let me get out of bed and makes this with some bakes and passion fruit ginger lime juice
Yes that's what I got too the cod, I dont like those in the fridge they sell at all. Nice, I know it went down well.
Fish cakes, with bonnie pepper and good seasoning, crispy. Yummy for Sunday or 🥳 party.
@@annlewis7685 I have to do that one. I love it!
Wow 😋😋😋😋😋😋 jb well done 👏✔
Thank you dear!❤
This is one of my favourite meals I have it with bakes or homemade bread . I'll be making it on Christmas morning for breakfast
Enjoy and happy holidays!❤

I usually add a little bit of sugar to reduce to the boiling time of the salt.

Thank you! The way the kitchen is situated it is so hard to show my face.😁
You can use plum tomatoes (mulit colours) and also add avocado 🥑 in you salt fish/cod fish. Also use could do pickled seasoning, with a bit of 'bonnie pepper's.
Thank you dear for the tips. Greatly appreciate it!

@@lystrasamuel5183 yes I do and I used the collard greens as well. You think our people will like that method?
One of my favorite thanks for sharing. Just Subscribe to your channel to. Blessings!!
Thank you, I did as well yesterday and will be watching as time goes by. No problem at all!
Thank God for your hands
Amen!
I soak salt fish over night then boil it.Cut it in smaller pieces to speed up the time
Yes that's the best way too.
This can be done as a cold salad, on need to fry anything... the salt fish already boiled to removed some of the salt. No need for ketchup.
Make a salad, pickled seasoning then add salt fish and advocardo.
Just like my parents make it sans the ketchup and the water.
Wonderful! That's how I saw my grandmother makimg it too. Hers used to have lots of sauce. It was so delicious.
