  • Ingredients I used
Saltfish/boil out salfish to get rid of the salt you want.
    Bell peppers
    Onion
    Garlic
    Tomato
    Cucumber
Coconut oil/You can add any oil you prefer.
    * If you want gravy in your salfish feel free to put more oil and about 1-2 tablespoons of water. Also, ripe juicy tomatoes produce naturally gravy mixed with the oil.

I love the fact that you are making St Vincent Cuisines because St Vincent has a lot of delicious traditional dishes. Keep on making great videos like this.

Hi Sam....I love your cooking style, good job!!!..... here's a little tip for you, you can peel off the skin from the saltfish before boiling it, it gets rid of the salt quicker and you don't have to deal with the scale in the end

Going to make some today with bakes!! We don’t cook the cucumber in it in Dominica but we have it on the side. I found the salt fish in the Spanish supermarket already cleaned and de-boned....not the pollock in the plastic bags but the actual cod!! I’m in heaven!! Ok let me get out of bed and makes this with some bakes and passion fruit ginger lime juice

I usually add a little bit of sugar to reduce to the boiling time of the salt.

You can use plum tomatoes (mulit colours) and also add avocado 🥑 in you salt fish/cod fish. Also use could do pickled seasoning, with a bit of 'bonnie pepper's.

I soak salt fish over night then boil it.Cut it in smaller pieces to speed up the time

  • @annlewis7685

This can be done as a cold salad, on need to fry anything... the salt fish already boiled to removed some of the salt. No need for ketchup.
Make a salad, pickled seasoning then add salt fish and advocardo.

  • @Kdija89
    @Kdija89 Рік тому +2

Just like my parents make it sans the ketchup and the water.
